  • You all recently voted in favour of over 50% that you wanted to see this episode on "Why are 5G Gold bars so underrated?". So here it is! My explanation on why 5G Gold Bars are in my opinion less popular than Gold and Silver Coins such as Britannia's or Sovereigns despite the fact that they are equally a fantastic investment - Especially for preserving your wealth and hedging against that inflation.

    I recently started stocking 5 G bars as well as 2.5 G bars.. I usally get 4-5oz of silver and one or the 5 or the 2.5 bars every month on payday.... And I always do it one week(5 to 7 days) before the end of the month.... I do like Sovereign coins but the premiums are way too high at times... I do you prefer Scottsdale mint bars as well as any of the special editions that come out here and there, but I don't over do it... Take care all ✌️

    I tried to convince my parents to buy two 10's, two 5's, and a 2-gram bar instead of an ounce of gold (31.1g):
    if gold goes to $10000/oz then 10 grams would cost $3215, and the only person you're going to be selling an ounce to is a coin shop;
    Surely it is better to take the initial hit on premiums and recoup it later when you sell to the public.

    • @FutureInvestmentsBullion
      @FutureInvestmentsBullion  7 месяцев назад +2

      There is definitely something to be said for this. The same goes for the 1/4 ounce Gold Brits now. £450 now. Already a lot of money. In 10/20 years. How high could that figure be. Let alone 1 Ounce.

    • @FutureInvestmentsBullion
      @FutureInvestmentsBullion  Год назад +2

      Great Question. Yes. I would say that’s correct. I know what you mean. But it’s because it’s like a package deal and the packaging shows the metal is real and people like it. So yes, it would lower the value a small amount I think. Not always, but in most cases.

    0:00 ⭐ Gold bars, especially five gram ones, are often overlooked by investors despite their potential benefits and attractiveness.
    2:30 💰 While gold coins like Britannias and Sovereigns have tax benefits, gold bars can still be sold without capital gains tax implications, making them an attractive investment option.
    4:05 🛡 Gold bars lack some security features found in coins like Britannias, but they can still be a valuable addition to an investment portfolio.
    6:47 📈 Starting with smaller investments like one gram gold bars can be a great way to begin building a precious metals portfolio, with potential to expand over time.
    8:59 💼 Both gold and silver bullion offer unique benefits as investments, with gold serving as a reliable hedge against inflation and silver offering potential for higher returns.

    Not if you live in the UK, as all bars attract capital gains tax and therefore other gold would be a better investment. Cgt exempt limits are being reduced at alarming rates and those who think it won't affect them, well soon it will . I open a few 5 and 10g bars for my collection but never my stack as it is just illogical. Plus some bars are far easier to counterfeit than coins. I've been. Stacking for over 15 years
