There is a huge difference between savings and wealth. Would you rather own 10 income generating properties outright and have £75,000 in savings to cover expenses or 1 property you live in with a mortgage and £200,000 in savings?

I recently bought some digital platinum from the royal mint. First they charge you 1 %. then another 0.5 % as a holding fee. Anyway I looked at selling it and it was at £757 per oz. And it says ''Price per oz including premium has gone down to £747. So I wait another day. The price of platinum goes up to £765 so I look at how much profit I will have made and Price per oz including premium IS LOWER. it now says £737 ??? What the heck? I would highly recommend NOT using the royal mint to invest. They are greedy money grabbers. Your money just disappears as they use the word ''premium'' with out even telling you how much. Avoid.

Missing the gold uploads

106 oz of silver and 100 oz of that is in one bar. Is it best to only buy it by the oz as in coins? Is it easier to sell it that way? I’m nearly 60 and hope to not work full time soon. I’ve got other investments but I’ll be reaching out to a finacial advisor soon.

You need not worry about cgt on small 1 t oz bar. You only pay tax on profit over the threshold

Nah, The VAT on silver doesn’t matter in the UK…..You get the VAT plus more back when you sell on eBay especially now that it’s free to sell on eBay. Current Silver spot price is £25 yet 1oz Silver bullion in the UK sells for around £35 each on eBay…. Silver has a far better chance of increasing your wealth than gold as you said yourself….Silver is significantly more undervalued than gold! Then SG ratio will close between them 👍🏼 imo you should be far heavier in Silver bud I also prefer Sovereigns, they are far easier again to sell on eBay 🍻
