I've watched many hours of metal-melting videos on youtube and one thing that really impresses me about this is how shiny the gold was through the entire process. Most metals are dull and ugly after being poured, and need extensive sanding and polishing to be shiny, but the gold was beautiful from step 1, and kept it's sheen the entire time.
Usually you would go through the process of removing impurities in the beginning. But since they started off with already pure gold, probably the process wouldn't be shown on screen.
Trust me i have seen many videos on youtube relating making golds and all stuff but honestly speaking this videos is something different from all of them 🔥💯
My father run a gold and jewellery store. I remember when I was a child, I loved spending hours just to watch the golden smith doing all theese process. From melting golden bars, to molding, to polishing. And the next day, new necklace chain or ear rings already in the display to be sold. For me it's so magical. 😍😍

The pay must be good enough to fear loosing the job more than gaining from stealing.
@@lormaeris what he's doing doesn't require a lot of "skill" per se. Anyone can be trained to do that kind of repetitive work. So craftsman may be a bit embellished. He probably gets paid way less than you think, but I'm sure he's making more than a typical factory worker because of the nature of the product.

Gold has nothing to do with chemicals after it's been purified to 99% pure unless you mix it with other metals for strenght than you can add a little of borax to mix the metals together

It's because of mace. Mace is traditional measurement of weight and currency denomination in east asia. It is no longer used in common nowadays, but it is frequently used to measure weight of gold. 1 mace of gold is equal to 3.75g in korea and japan but it can be slightly different by countries.
