HI - I don't even know your name, but I would like to add my thanks for this video (and video number 1). I never thought I would be able to play this on my uke - I am a 72 year old, who has played guitar for many years, but just come to the ukulele very recently. I can't yet play like you, but thanks to your vid, I am making a passable attempt at this lovely Harrison song. I look forward to trying lesson 3. Many thanks Mr Waluoob from HawaiiMusicSupply - great job!!
Thanks so much for teaching this, just picked up the uke in january, proud to be able learn music and with lots of pausing I was able to learn this song. Aloha from California! :D
i usually play guitar, but today i bought a ukulele, never played one in my life, watched ur tutorial and aced this song by the end of the day, soo proud of myself. THNX FOR THE UPLOAD!!!
Everyone is complaining about how he teaches. Yes he improvises with the picking every time he plays but he shows us the jest of it (basic formations, chords and such). If you stick with it and pause to see the strings he plucks you can learn it in a day. It's not hard, just be patient. This is coming from someone who got his first ukulele a week ago. And it was the first song I learned, by the way.
This tutorial got pretty great once I realized I could slow the video down to understand the finger picking more easily. I would HIGHLY recommend people watch the last minute and a half on .5 speed to get the finger picking right!
Quit saying its confusing. Its not. Im a beginner 13 year old and I completely understood part 1. There are a couple things he added in, but I just improvised a little on the picking.
@questiestalker you got either a Soprano or Concert Ukulele... What this guy and Jake is using is Tenor Ukulele... its the best type of ukulele in my opinion :)
I still don't know what to do at 0:45...... even in the 1st video.. I think it's: Strum Lower String Pick without pinky Top String Pick Pinky Hammer (which I totally suck at) String above Bottom Chord without pinky? Oh goodness.. please help me.. this is the only thing that stands in the way between me and this song..
Lol for those who think that this guy isn't good at doing tutorials, I know at least 5 people that learned this song from this exact tutorial. And the important thing is tht you should have at least some experience playing the ukulele before learning something advanced like this. Dont think you can learn this as your first song

Thank you so much for this great tutorial! (=
@Waluoob Its a tenor ukulele.
@questiestalker you got either a Soprano or Concert Ukulele... What this guy and Jake is using is Tenor Ukulele... its the best type of ukulele in my opinion :)
If you're using a soprano just play the high parts on octave down or leave them off. You can get it pretty close to where most people won't notice.
@hawaiimusicsupply could u please do a tutorial on third stream by jake shimabukoro

part 3? where?
Is this plugged in? Sounds fantastic
weres the third part?
Play g open, c 11, e 10 and a 10. Works similar if not the same.
Part 1 was good but this part I kind of hard to understand because he just says this shape and I don't know where to put my finger
thanks for helping but this takes SOOO MUCH TIME LEARNING ITS HARD!!!!! but ill keep trying!
@Yomhas35 yeah figured it out myself.
my uke only has 12 frets ;(
Joshua Serrano soprano?
Get a real uke lmao
when your ukulele only has 12 frets <
any alternatives
Have to buy a tenor
I still don't know what to do at 0:45...... even in the 1st video..
I think it's:
Strum
Lower String Pick without pinky
Top String Pick
Pinky Hammer (which I totally suck at)
String above Bottom
Chord without pinky?
Oh goodness.. please help me.. this is the only thing that stands in the way between me and this song..
@ukesk8r98 Thats the bit which is up to you.
@HawaiiMusicSupply
So, is this song done on a tenor then?
what type of wood is that uke made of?
My ukulele has less frets? mine only has 12 frets.
I play a 12 fret soprano... I pressed down hard enough to make a 13th fret haha
who taught you how to play
we can't do it with a soprano?
i love how there's far less views on this video than part one XD
did the master teach u that? or u learned it alone? do u know him?
i wish you could go over your way of picking the strings, because i cant see a thing, it's going way to fast for me :(
is that a tenor or baritone uke?
Lol for those who think that this guy isn't good at doing tutorials, I know at least 5 people that learned this song from this exact tutorial. And the important thing is tht you should have at least some experience playing the ukulele before learning something advanced like this. Dont think you can learn this as your first song
what would be a good first song?
Its insanely unfair how fast you go in these tutorials...lol :/
Oh my god it's so hard my fingers are numb ToT
12 frets, 12,000,000,000 possibilities...
What key is this?
Jake Shimabukuro while my guitar gently weeps
LOL CAPTIONS ON
bend 12 up to 14... kinda works lol
slow down
yeah but i got it down so dont worry bro
how mucv girl can we expect to land with this ?;)
@BboyN3wbi3 give him a break dude. They are giving you this for free, take the time and watch it.
