First part, everyone clicks because you see while my guitar tutorial.. Then you give up because you dont understand the explanations, indeed he is a poor teacher. Even if it comes from a good intention. I finaly found the real tablature, because there are a lot of easier versions, and its way easier than with his teaching.. And it should not be!
A big THANK YOU Corey, your Tutorials are brilliant and easy to follow, this is a tricky little tune and obviously take time to master the little intricate changes, but hey! thats the challenge of learning new stuff! Also a big thanks to All at Hawaii Music Supply.! Thanks to the online advise from Arron, I bought myself a Pono Acacia Tenor, and it is the most beautiful instrument, and perfectly set up,( I barely need to tune it!! ) I am so pleased. But because the quality is so impressive I also bought a gorgeous Pono 00 Acacia Paniolo Guitar again beautifully crafted and so nice to play. Thanks again Corey and Arron and everyone @ Hawaii Music Supply, Playing the Ukulele has given me a new way to play Guitar.! It is an amazing little instrument, may it help to bring more Peace to the world... All Hail the Ukulele! Aloha ~ .
thank you sooo much for making these tutorials!!!! i have almost got it down, just need to practice some more. but these REALLY helped! i've always wanted to know this song and i cant believe i actually have! my brother (also an uke player) was really impressed that i knew it and now he's learning it. thanks!!
Thanks so much for this tutorial, got myself a beginners ukulele today and started learning this as soon as i found this video! Might get saving for the uke you use in this vid, it's gorgeous! Thanks again..
Can you share what your action height is at the 12th fret? (Or anywhere for that matter...) I'm a lead guitar player first and foremost and I'm having issues fingering certain parts of this tutorial without hitting other strings. I think my action is too high to play the uke like this, but I don't want to accidentally compromise tone that's characteristic of the uke. Also - great tutorials, thank you!
I like your version of KCBs Tropical Hawaiian Day. How about a tutorial on it? Or Jake's Me & Shirley T. I can't find tabs or tutorials anywhere. BTW-your latest stuff is the best on the net! Keep it coming, it's really appreciated. Just because I like your VIDs so much, I plan to get my next uke from you guys! And your playing is awesome!
Thanks so much for this awesome trilogy! They brightened up many days. But can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE explain the strumming pattern at 5:45 min? At 5:40 you said you will explain later, but you never did... :( A short answer like down down up up up (strumming pattern before) would be sufficient!
This is the song that made me take up the ukulele, but I never thought I would be able to play it, although I'm not there yet this tutorial has got me much closer. At some parts it looks like you are hammering on (or muting) for some of the chords, could you explain how this should be done? Also what is the second strum pattern? Thank you so much for your help.
The ending notes are different than the video i saw at the end he finished it with high notes and picked them really quick does anyone know what the chords are
Hi! wonderful tutorial! I had a question around time 1:06 and again at 1:12 in the video where it seems you are doing pull offs. Is there any chance you could kind of do a small video segment on how we could add that in the basic strumming pattern? I tried it out myself and it seems a bit tricky! >< Mahalo!!!
I just got my first ukulele yesterday, I've never played a ukulele seriously before (most of the times I've tried the ukulele before I was just fooling around because I wasn't used to the tuning), and I'm already to this part. You've got to admit, that's pretty good for a beginner, right?
great tutorial, but i have a concert ukulele, not a tenor, so i'd have to go off the fingerboard which would hardly make a sound. but i'm saving up for a tenor! :D
This is the best tutorial of "while my ukulele gently weeps". Thank you, can u guys make a tutorial of beautiful creation by young dee because i can't find a good tutorial video.
This guy pisses me off so much! If you are going play it for us then teach it the way you play it! The strumming pattern is obviously different in many parts, he finger picks parts like at 1:45 and he adds ghost notes through the whole tutorial. Don't you think that we might want to play that too! Just a simple "this is what I do here" would be wonderful and make it sound soooo much better. Other than the fact that this guy can't teach the tutorial is good, so unless they decide to post a video explaining all the other things he skipped i guess we are on our own.
He doesn't explain that because it is kind of an improvisation, if you have been playing ukulele or guitar for many years, it just comes out alone. In my opinion, you should try to learn it as he says, and once you get it a bit faster, it will come out alone. I hope i helped you?

yes I completely agree, he didn't explain what sounds like the most difficult strumming part of the song.
@Traconiz You could if you want. Whatever sounds good to you.
Hey Hey, thanks so much for the tutorial, any chance of getting the mad riff at the start?
i used to no this whole thing by heart but then i forgot
@superkulit2009 Sounds good! Which one?
MAN! My ukulele has a short bridge with only 13 frets.
Quick question, do you guys do in person lessons? I stay in Schofield Barracks.

@Yomhas35 yeah i'm pretty much just winging it in the videos. i'll try next time. Thanks.
Time 5:35 strumming... After the DD UUUD on first chord, I think it is
D UDUD UDUD UDUD
yea i have a ukulele with only 13 frets so what would i do at the part when it requires me to play some chords with the 15th fret
Can you please teach Jake Shimabukuro's cover of Bohemian Rhapsody?
Hey corey at 7:08 is there another way to play that on a 12 fret ukulele
is there tutorial of the song you opened up with???
@boynamedphillip jakes shimabukuros "lets dance".
great tutorial, but i have a concert ukulele, not a tenor, so i'd have to go off the fingerboard which would hardly make a sound. but i'm saving up for a tenor! :D
This is the best tutorial of "while my ukulele gently weeps". Thank you, can u guys make a tutorial of beautiful creation by young dee because i can't find a good tutorial video.
You got a tutorial on the intro song bro
can someone do a tutorial on in my life by jake shimabukuro ???
Alright, so from 6:35 and on, I guess I can put this ukulele away. My big fingers can't fret those high notes with such precision.
if IZ could do it you can do it
whaaa... that's awesome Corey. how about foxy Lady :)
What are you playing at the very beginning??
many thanks.......
Yeah, just look up "Lets Dance Ukulele tutorial". It should come right up.
is it necessary to mute the 4th string in the last part?
Did you get any answer to that via mail or so? Or did you find it out?
thank you so much ""
how bout the tetris theme song ?
What's with tuning in your opening riff? Definitely not GCEA.
its a ukelele tenor?
Strumming pattern at 7:40...??
thanks many thanks mahalo x 5000
I think he teaches the basic the u can add if u get it well
Man where is the part where you explain the strumming ?
SALAMAT!!!! (y)
For all those struggling with the strumming, what I can advise you is to put the video in slow motion. It definitely helps the hearing !
Please explain the strumming at 7:40. Your so fast that I can't see what the pattern is!
@Fujiman808 thanks dawg
STRINGS????
Does anybody else have problems with the fingerstretch at 5:10 ?
play it on a concert ukulele so everyone can reach
Could you go in more detail with strumming And picking its really confusing!
noice
5:10 is where i stopped because im only 12 and my hand cant stretch that far
did you continue, you’re 19 now
You have tiny hands
Don’t worry, you’re 22. I think.
I think Daniel is just jealous because even if he wanted to learn this, he cant

I agree with you.
I believe that the strum patten is d-d-u-u-u-d or d-d-u-u-d
Learn the sheet music... this song is a masterpiece it can't just be taught by a RUclips tutorial.
