While the MT09SP remains my dream bike, the MT07 is growing on me!
Get the MT10
Good call on the radiator guard. But take a gander at the oil filter. It’s a fantastic target for a rock kicked up by the front tire. I just pushed a small hot tomato sauce can over mine. It’s obviously not bullet proof but it gives me some peace of mind.
Eh I wouldn't worry about that. Rocks hitting the oil filter won't do much.
@@CycleCruza I ride up over the mountains and down into the Southern California desert where there is a lot of small rocks and loose gravel. Back in the eighties I rode my new hurricane Honda 600 out to the desert and the oil filter got punctured by a small stone kicked up from the front tire. That’s when I came up with the tin can shield. Maybe I’m just unlucky.

when the baffles removed..the bike sound like a V-Twin engine...so proper sweet!
90° V-twin (example Ducati) is a 270° firing interval.
Parallel twin engine with 90° separation between crank pins, is a 270° firing interval.
This is why the frequency of the sounds emitted from both engine times are identical.
Yeah it sounds awesome, I love the sound of this bike so much with this akra exhaust.
@@CycleCruza Thankfully there's a ton of bikes out these days with parallel twin 270° crank.
Some examples:
180° (Kawasaki Ninja 400)
270° (MT-07)
285° (890 Duke R)
315° (Nuda 900R)
360° (F800GS)
I think the best parallel twin designs are 270 and 285 degree crankpin relationship.

Yes it is! I love the exhaust sound on this bike. I find myself revving everywhere like Harley riders. haha
If u want u can just remove the pegs and put the reservoir in the hole the pegs were using just remove the rubber spacer
How? The bracket is attached to peg bracket.
@@CycleCruza remove it all. Buy passenger peg block off plates for. U can also delete the rear brake reservoir to help clean up even more it looks very nice I did it on my 09

MT-07 looks so much better than the new Honda hornet
dont know whats stronger but my 2015 model its much easyer to take the panels of the tank i can do it in 10 to 15 min now have doen it a few times playing with airbox and filter.when i took my snorkel of i lost power that was with no tuning so put it back you have a tune yes top end was better but lost the down low torq

Finally the aftermarket exhaust has completed it's turn to the dark side of hooligan sounding exhaust. The baffle on my MT07 and MT09 SP didn't last a day. Always wondered why fit a baffle in the exhaust when the manufacturer of the exhaust knows its gonna get yanked out 1st thing.

You never know when you need passenger pegs, you never know when they might come in handy. I’d leave them on!

You can go to Home Depot and make that Reservoir mount yourself.

Imo you might need to cover the air filter hole with something before washing the bike using water jet.
I won't spray water over top, just around the bottom.

The break reservoir can be screwed on with the passenger peg bolt for free delete mod
In case you don't want to source your rear reservoir bracket from Australia, TST makes a rear reservoir delete kit.
I need to see the video on that dyno jet install. I went through your link but it showed it was only for MT09
I just bought a 2022 MT 09 and for me the bike feels too light coming off of a 2017 CBR 1000 RR so I ordered an MT 10. I'm not doing any mods as these bikes are plenty fast for the street. I'm at the point where I don't want a loud bike to alert the cops that I'm coming, been there done that.

I know one thing I won't do is carbon fiber wheels, the roads too bad here in Cleveland for that. I'll see of they make a cf fender though.

DNA with airbox lid = only power gains for the MT-07. Or you can remove the airbox and install a filter pod.

MT-09 turbo kit: MT-10.
MT-10 turbo kit: 1290 Super Duke R.

CycleCruza, did you need to get new bar ends for those mirrors? Want to do the same to my 2015 MT07 but the bar is pre threaded.
Just hope it's not too loud. You still wanna be able to hear surroundings allitle bit such as emergency vehicle siren. Do you wear earplugs while riding?
it does get loud when its at high rpm hurts my ear (no earplug). My baffle in permanently in now haha
Always wear ear plugs, wind noise is an ear killer. With the baffle removed it doesn't see all that much louder, at least with ear plugs in. Without ear plugs it is loud af. lol

Would you ever consider running a proper flash from someone like Flashed by Vcyclenut or 2 Wheel DynoWorks that have a proper tune vs the garbage Dynojet releases?
He won't respond, but I'm going to say that he most likely won't get any other ecu flash. I have 2WDW flash on my MT10 and love it.
