Wonderful job! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful story in pictures. It seems like fantasy to see how the images follow each other but we baseball fans know what each moment of the story you portray means. The quality of the images is another level, I really enjoyed it from beginning to end. Special mention to the editing and the transition from one to another with a highly remarkable choreography. Applause and again thank you very much for sharing such a beautiful document. A new subscriber.
2:55 Anybody notice that the St Louis Browns logo used between 1952 and 1953 looks like the Cleveland Browns logo used in the 1960s? Just thought I would point that out.
Of Course The Red Stockings was the first professional baseball team (started as The Cincinnati Base Ball Club) - and a nucleus of them went to Boston - that became the Boston Red Stockings. And Cincinnati survived in the American Assoc.
Best logos in my opinion Diamondbacks: 2007-11 Braves: current Orioles: 1964-1965 Red sox: current Cubs: 1946-1947 White sox: 1939-1948 Reds: 1968-1992 Indians: 1933-1938 Rockies: 1993-2016 Tigers: 1994-2005 Astros: 1977-1993 Royals: 1986-1992 Angels: 1997-2001 Dodgers: 1979-2011 Marlins: current Brewers: 1978-1993 Twins: current Mets: current Yankees: current Athletics: 1955-1967 Phillies: 1992-2018 Pirates: 1997-2013 Padres: 2004-2010 Giants: current Mariners: current Cardinals: current Rays: 2001-2007 Rangers: 1972-1980 Blue jays: 1997-2002 Nationals: 1992-2004
Kinda shocked the Blue Jays dropped the maple leaf for so long. How would anyone know they were from Canada? Canada loves that damn leaf. If they didn't have an NHL team with Leafs in the name, they'd all be wearing them!
Bro, this guy not only shows logo evolution with name changes, but also when a logo is minimally changed he says what changed.
It's amazing that for a small chunk of their history, The Phillies and The Pirates each had the opposite main logo color to what they have now.
This has to be updated to include the new guardians logo for Cleveland
