00:00 Kujata and Phoenix
00:59 Bahamut and Titan
01:58 Alexander and Odin
03:12 Gilgamesh
04:17 Virtual Sephiroth
Dragon Claws (ATB Charge Rate Up, Weapon Ability ATB Recharge, Attack Power +20, Attack Power +20)
Cetran Bracer
Fury Ring
Elemental-Fire and Ice, ATB Boost-Enemy Skill, Strength Up-Skill Master, Odin
Elemental-Fire, Steadfast Block-Precision Defense, Darkside-First Strike, Swiftcast-Ice
Finally, it's done! 2:49! Largely the same strategy as last time though, so not the most interesting video. Is it fair to call this a world record if it's an extraordinarily niche category? Oh well. (Also, I'm not sure that I understand at all how the in-game timer works--but alas.)
Used Plasma Discharge against Kujata and Phoenix, it's mainly for Skill Master if you start with Concentration. You could just opt to use Focused Strike once during the fight too. Blizzaga hit for reduced damage, but that's where Plasma Discharge's extra damage comes in handy, as we are still able to kill Phoenix.
Straightforward Titan kill, and Bahamut's AI pattern was quite favorable to me here. Nova Bomb is the worst for time, and it's possibly to get an unblockable double kick to the face during Divekick endlag, so not getting those is always good.
Odin didn't vanish, so we got the immediate Blizzaga stagger into kill. Some lucky dodges of the Wave Cannon via Whirling Uppercut and we did get hit by the Radiant Wave, actually, but no flinch or stun so we are able to proceed as normal and take out Alexander quite quickly.
A favorable Gilgamesh pattern (I finally had the courage to perfect guard Triple Slash), and the Focused Strike actually nets us a free ATB from Skill Master. Sometimes Giglamesh doesn't pull out the Genji Shield against Blizzara due to timing (sometimes he goes into an attack animation instead, which gets you free stagger buildup, but means you have to build stagger via basic attacks instead of spells, which is fine but I think slightly slower).
I messed up Virtual Sephiroth as far as getting him pressured--I should've immediately used Divekick after the Skewer--but it worked out!
Again, not any overarching strategy optimizations, just overall some cleaner gameplay and some lucky favorable AI patterns.
That puts a wrap on Tifa for now, and life is getting busy, so we'll see if I end up posting anything else or not! I have individual runs for the summons I have backlogged which I may make public at some point. Игры
Congrats on the record run! Damn Tifa is even scarier now than in Remake lol.
Now try this challenge with Cloud!
On behalf of someone who was ripping their hair out at Odin, thank you!
Those parries were a thing of beauty. Well done!
Thank you!! I know it wasn't a very instructional video but I'm glad it helped you in some way :)
You are a GOD
deem chief, good job!
Damn that's really nice.
Wanted to be the first one to do it, but i didn't expect you would get it so soon, so congrats on that one.
Even though you messed up on Sephiroth, it was not that bad thanks to the fire and ice elemental and darkside you destroyed him. Now to surpass your run, it will require godly luck or at least to even save 3 o 4 seconds. I believe the max you can get must be 2:45, but the headache will make it not worthy to go for. Once again congrats for the run.
Thanks!! Sorry to beat you to it :{
The only timesaves that I can imagine are somehow lining up Titan and Bahamut to hit them with Divekicks simultaneously, which I think they are intentionally programmed not to do--when one of the Pulses is destroyed, the animation makes them stumble back away from each other. I've only seen this happen once in like, hours of trying. Obviously this would be a huge skip but just doesn't seem feasible.
The other skip is that if you cast Blizzaga while Gilgamesh is doing an animation (Ephemerality for example), he won't pull out the shield, so you can get the Blizzaga stagger buildup without needing to break the shield. Then you can stagger him with basic attacks...I'm not sure how much of a timesave this would be, but it's also fairly impractical to pull off due to the fact that you pretty much need to either cast Blizzaga nigh-instantly on reaction or frankly cast it before the animation is visible.
@@nepheneethedestroyer Yeah.
The only time i see hitting both of them is against the wall so they can't stumble backwards. Gilgamesh i did notice that if you use blizzaga when it loses naginata, it's a guaranteed hit, maybe you're not far off there.
Your run does honor to your nickname, nephenee the goddess of destruction. 🤣🤣🤣
@@Vulcan_Blaze_ST On thing I found out--I just saw this in a video Kalmashin posted--is that Plasma Discharge does cause him to stumble, so it could be a bit of a failsafe to have up against Sephiroth? You can focus on just Divekicking to push as close to 50% HP as possible while still staying on the appropriate "stumble" timing and getting stagger (or honestly just keep Divekicking while he's pressured and let him go into Fire, not sure how much it matters). Still, hard to see much improvements being made.
And thank you!
@@nepheneethedestroyer I thought you knew about plasma discharge, but i don't recommend it. I mean it's useful, but sometimes when the discharge activates, makes the game lag a little making a parry on shadowy chains harder. If you want to use it, need to take that into account.
world record!? wow!! huge congrats man!! 😎
World record for a category that's mostly just me...still :P
Thank you!!

As of now, this is a world record. Congrats
Made it look like u was playing this on easy 🤣🤣🤣 u did that
I simply cannot beat this challenge. It has been about 340 hours of game time. This has been like 40 to 50. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Idk if I should upload footage because I'm really not bad at the game. I'm breezing through hard mode. Unsure why I'm getting nuked on this challenge only. Hellions intonement took me maybe 10 to 15 tries and the strat finally worked but this one I just for some reason cannot do it.
I tried limit siphon, brumal atb ward haste and arcane ward with enemy weaknesses.
I tried red Barret and dark side cloud, manawalls and heals
I tried basically everything. I even tried solo to see what may be wrong. I went back through each character and spent about a day practicing their best moves and combos. I took time off multiple times up to 2 weeks this time. Same results. It's so weird. I feel like I've done harder on hard mode. I don't understand why I can't beat these summons together. But desperately I can solo full might with limited materia. Idk. So odd.
I made it to Gilgamesh twice maybe since a week from release. I don't know what I'm missing the only thing I'm just not perfect blocking and parrying every single hit. That's basically all I'm not doing. However I'm blocking most of Titan, bahamut and quickly taking out Odin. Alexander isn't too bad.
I want to have some kind of really good build on each character. I die way too fast no matter what strategy I use or how much I feel or how much I try to block how much damage I do even when I'm doing like 25k in the ward. It's mind boggling. I don't know if I can accept the fact that I just suck because I have destroyed every other challenge I'm just not sure what's going on.
it is technically impossible that u cant beat this challenge with yuffies brumal spam, its extremely easy. either ur doing something wrong or ur playing with ur feet
