Beat odin in his weakest form by the skin of my teeth after like 8th attempt with 3 members all at level 46.... I doubt l can solo weakest odin at level 70....really doubt it...
When you casted haste, and I looked and saw you had the hp, mp swap materia I unironically jaw dropped. Lol I know it said no damage but the stones to have that materia equipped is superb.
@@An00bisY00tubis yeah. If you perfect parry an attack which would take a large portion of your max health, you gain more limit break. Sadly this means “traditional tanks” like Barret with lots of HP generally build limit a lot slower.
@@shinkatsuki7158 we’re basically absorbing the damage with the block, if I were to stand there and get hit it would give me the same amount of limit break. So having hp mp on constantly has our health low enough to get big limit boosts from blocks.

Either Deadly Dodge or Parry materia let you slide in remake, I forget which of the two. They got rid of them and just incorporated parts of those materia into the default moves for rebirth

It's also what helps him build so much limit break with every parry. The limit break build is proportional to how much damage the attack would do to your max HP.
Not sure if you know this already, but you can build atb faster with rise and fall active rather than using it up. With rise and fall (or the unfettered variant) you hold square to do the uppercut and interrupt that by pressing square, which will cause Tifa to do the finishing attack that normally happens after her FULL attack chain. Unbridled gives a damage and unfettered gives stagger build, but both give a lot more atb than you get by using up your chi, and you maintain the weapon bonuses from level 2 chi. You can also cancel the uppercut into Tifa's Divekick, which skips the the part where she jumps up and so you do it a lot faster and it becomes a reliable damager even better than True Strike. I tend to use concentration, unfettered (to get to level 3 chi), activate the atb boost materia with L1 and R1, then spam uppercut into divekick or uppercut into finisher if I don't have enough ATB. WIth very little practice, I was able to get Titan in 30 seconds, and I'm sure Odin would be similar.
What was your build on her if you dont mind me asking? Also is this a later chadley combat sim challenge or? Have yet to actually do hard mode just got my item transmuter level 16 now i needed to hit level 70 to take on gilgamesh and then i will run hardmode

@@vindicated7769 I killed him before he could pop temporal and sorry I forgot to take a clip of my build. honestly all you need is hp mp, haste, speed and the genji gloves for no damage cap
So you’ll notice some of his attacks have that purple glow around it, you don’t want to block or get hit by those at all. If you do get hit you’ll notice purple rings around your hands and that’s when he’ll start doing reprisal
Was honestly surprised I got him that quick, most of my attempts I had to LB through his stop attack to survive it but this one I got him before he even popped it lol
I tried Odin twice and died instantly. I am not a super player at this game and refuse to get headaches by banging my head against the wall for hours and hours on end for...what? A summon I won't use? A failure of games above all else is when all fun is lost. The team that made Rebirth really really fucked a lot of it up. I will not be purchasing the third game and that makes me super depressed by how bad Rebirth is as a whole.
