Saw Sephiroth bullying Cloud and ended him while the rest were making camp. She is too shy to tell the rest of the party that the big bad is dead and they are kinda going north for no reason.
The best part is that she literally can. Why is she and Aerith so overpowered in this game?

There are people who will comment "Tifa is so broken", yeah sure but if you tried soloing this challenge, it ain't that simple especially with Gilgamesh one mistake and he can fck you up.
Edit: Awesome as always Aethertruck! you don't even need the ATB boost and jump materia.
Most characters can be broken but this definitely takes skill, and need to know enemy attack patterns or ur gonna get 💀

The ratio of how fast unfettered fury state uppercut cancel gives her ATB is unmatched and then the fact that you can divekick from uppercut which gives extra ATB is also crazy good I don't think anyone can beat the time of perfect Tifa execution others just don't generate enough ATB and have fast animations to spam their skills

@Aethertruck why do you have the jump material equipped ? As far as I can see you never used the whole encounter right or has it some other use while having it equipped ? Great video for the rest I’m kinda stuck here even with 3 characters haha

And people keep saying Yuffie is the most busted character in rebirth. She literally just an atb hub for aerith and whoever in 3 person team lol. For solo end game challenge, Tifa out performs Yuffie by a mile.
That and tifa is much more fun than yuffie imo.
Is ATB boost necessary? I saw you using it a few times but given tifa’s speed plus first strike and steadfast block, what’s the use for it here?
If concentration doesn't proc I use it at the start of every fight for 2 bars to get to level 3 chi immediately

divekick op ever since it was put into a fighting game
Before going to the rulers of the world myself, I’ve been personally playing with each summon individually in full might and I am yet to produce the damage output necessary to defeat kujata before it triggers its tri attack. I have to admit the only ability i’m missing in the dragon claws is the weapon atb ability. I may need to reset tifa’s current skill book since I haven’t gotten all her manuscripts yet but could this be the only factor?
If i focus only on divekick, i wont be staggering it anytime soon. He’ll die before I can stagger it. Is this the best way to go? I have been indeed practicing it with tifa alone but perhaps with a full party i won’t have any issues. And yet, all i want is to master these summons separately to get to the real challenge: gilgamesh. I’m gonna swift through your vids to see if you have a guide on him that doesn’t rely so much on perfect blocking timing because i haven’t mastered that.
Any advice on gilgamesh? You kill him pretty quick.
The double summons have each less health than the full power summons. That's how they balance it out. Like 50k each. Full power Kujata has more than that.
Getting weapon level 9 is a huge boost because it increases the power of the weapons. So that's important even without the last unlockable weapon trait.
I have a 13 minute guide on Gilgamesh hidden away inside my 50 minute long beginner's guide to the whole boss rush. It uses a beefy build with Barret as the main played character. No intentional perfect blocking is used, just a lot of tactical pausing and explaining what to when he uses his moves. You can adapt it with other characters if you like though.

What's the purpose of using Sonic Boom? I see a lot of people use it but I'm not sure why. Is it for some sort of dodge cancel?
It gives her 30 seconds of bravery (50% physical damage buff) and faith (50% magic damage buff)

To this date, is the loadout in the description the best possible dps for tifa specifically soloing?
@@inthebeginning4751 oh absolutely not. Jump is useless for damage plus I've got 3 defensive materia: steadfast block, hp absorb, and precision defense focus. Could replace those with 2 luck ups, darkside, and idk what else, magic up might add some damage in unfettered? You can make her more of a glass Cannon but I need her to be able to survive a little for these fights

gotcha. Yeah gilgamesh would have to be completely mastered to be a glass cannon lol. tis a shame we cant replay just him solo unless i made a save before his quest.
Parry is importion i can't parry just a Titan punch even equip Materia give more window to perfect block lol

How are you building a ton of ATB with your basic attack? Are you doing a cancel of some sort?
hold square => block, hold square => block. It cancels her jump upward + uppercut animation.
Yeah. Needs unfettered fury level 3 (rage and fall). It gives her some special attacks. The first is a combo ender that spawns an aerial chi trap that is absurd for building stagger. The second is an uppercut cancel that builds a lot of ATB

And why do you prefer dragon claws to Kaiser? For ATB?
@@jawdahn yes and yes. This doesn't work as nearly as well without Weapon Ability ATB Refund. And the aerial chi trap is exclusively a combo ender.
@@jinwei996I can't speak to whether block can cancel the uppercut but that's not what I'm doing. I'm canceling the uppercut by pushing the attack button again. It only works at level 3 chi, and this specific attack requires specifically level 3 Unfettered Fury
Question. What is Jump materia for?
You jump and hit the enemy, it doesn't look like it was important for the build.
@@coolrocksounds it does give i-frames, but only a few when you're solo. its a longer animation in team setting.
I had it on for testing. I guess I coulda just replaced it with a luck up lol. But if I botched a run the idea is that I would attempt to use it in a creative way

Needs level 9 weapon which requires every manuscript. Full hard mode playthrough plus all side quests complete again on hard mode required

I was testing it during the Sephiroth fight and forgot to remove it. Would have replaced it with Luck Up if I thought about it

Level 9 weapon. Requires every manuscript in the game for the character. Must beat hard mode and complete all side quests again on hard mode

@@total-love like I said I'm not going to play the game for you. But consider using this guide. The build is very tanky with an emphasis on staying alive, and it's very good at doing that.

This could easily be pushed under 4 minutes, with fewer mistakes and better choices. I wasted at least 20 seconds on Gilgamesh and 20 more on Sephiroth. But thank you lol. If TAS was able to play this I'd bet it could be pushed under 3 minutes.
@@aethertruck I think if you 1-cycle Phoenix and can pressure Sephiroth before he enters Affinity: Fire, you might be able to get to sub 3, but it would be really tight.
Pretty good but you’re definitely not playing on hard somehow. They have WAY more HP than that.
Solo summons have more HP than the dual fights. That's how they balance it. They have 34k-60k health each here. Then Gilg and Seph have 120k+.
The summons in RotOW are not in their full might, despite having different moves
This build is broken and evidence enough that the Rebirth devs did not spend enough time on balancing, (unless they wanted a meta with such high dps). Even if that's all true, this is still very impressive and I would struggle to replicate it :)
It's really just Tifa. I know several players could beat this time by using Tifa, but I don't think a TAS could beat this time with any other solo character. I'd love to be wrong though.
