- Suzuki has cracked open the champagne for its 100th Anniversary and to celebrate further, it has released the 2021 Suzuki GSX-R1000R, GSX-R750, and GSX-R600 100th Anniversary editions.
These are in limited numbers and stand the real chance of becoming collectable indeed.
Although there are no real technical changes, all three Gixxers get a Metallic Triton Blue/Metallic Mystic Silver paint job reminiscent of the current Team Suzuki Ecstar MotoGP motorcycles raced by Álex Rins and Joan Mir, and in the process pay tribute to the Suzuki Grand Prix racebikes of the 1960s.
We grabbed both the litre bike and the 750 for a quick blat.

That 750 is basically a 10 year old model and it still looks and rides bangingly.
It's bloody fast and competent. A little uncomfortable, but that gores with the territory.
Pretty much same engine since 06.sad
I just picked up a 2021 Gsxr-750 100th anniversary edition!! I've never been so in love with a bike.... I owned multiple Kawi's before this and The suzuki is better in almost every way. So I have a 2021 but let's be honest we all know it's just at 2011.... But the things is for me that isn't a bad thing. It isn't packed with a million cat converters, It actually has a good stock sound. The engine braking isn't so excessive. The reality is euro emisssions regs are ruining motorcyles and to get a suzuki 750 engine from 2011 is arguably better quality then anything that's being built today. Sure, you can get bikes with more power, but you cannot get a bike this powerful that has this much reliabiity. No quickhsifter, no TS, no ABS, no elctronics except rider modes and that reason alone increases the reliability, and it also makes you feel that you are becoming a better rider as opposed to when I had my zx6r I would just lazily hit the quickshifter..... Many people won't believe this but I was at the dealership looking at both the 1000 and the 750 and I chose the 750 over the 1000. I'm that rare dude who actually prefers the middleweights.
@@Jmeez69 i guess...so expensive but long as your happy thats what matters.
I love the GSXR lineup. A lot of people used to complain about the headlight on the 600 and 750 claiming that it was too big and ugly but there is a lot of Suzuki haters out there because everybody on one but there is a reason why they own one reliability and even in the stock exhaust forum it sounds good it is not a vacuum cleaner I must admit I miss my ZX-14 what Brock's alien head 4 into 1 exhaust but that bike gave me hell my 2011 GSXR needs a little help but she still runs like a champ the best investment I did in 2015 love that damn bike I'm going to cry when I sell it one day because time is hard but I pray I get to keep her because I would love to be a RUclipsr and show her off because she is my first bike only had two 600 and ZX-14 love my jixi because that's her name
750/1100 didn’t hit states until 1986. I bought the very 1st Gsxr 1100 in Ft Walton Bch 1986. Loved that bike and the yoshi I put on it. The exhaust looked a lot better back then.
this video actually has ass crack in every piece of footage of the reviewers riding it.. well done, just amazing.
We aim to please!
@@INFO_MOTO LOL!!!
Kinda weird how the 750 looks like the bigger bike, with the electronics in the new bikes with pwr restrictions it’s a no brainer to buy the 1000cc
In SA the gsx 150 and 250 also has this livery for the 2021 version
When you say the that gsxr 750 is limited to 50 units, is that for the whole of Oz?
Just 50 in Oz.
Cool awesome bike there's none like it
True. It's a beastie.
Awesome vid new sub here
Let's not kid ourselves. Suzuki hasn't made a brand new bike since 2017.
It's like they've settled for being shit upon by bike reviewers and content creators. Always being placed last, always missing the element of excitement, same outdated models with new graphics. They don't pay attention to the competition and try to figure out ways to top them. Suzuki is satisfied with being cheap, and it shows with their outdated boring designs. Excellent engineering is the only thing salvageable.
True in superbike territory only. The 750 is still a classic bike but this review is pathetic in that it fails to point out that apart from the paintwork this is a 2011 GSX-R750 made in 2020 and a 2017 GSX-R1000 made in 20/21 there is nothing better about them apart from calling them limited edition. Also I think they sold a lot with the same paintwork but no 20 of 50 plastic trophy thingy so the paintwork isn't even exclusive! Someone correct me if I am wrong on that but I think that is the case.

750 needs a facelift
IT will be good when they get the unfitting Suzuki name off the bike.....
WTF are you talking about? They won motoGP and are fast and reliable bikes.
He meant the printed name on it, not that actually name 😂😂
suzuki and honda make really ugly super bikes
Maybe that’s why they sell so many of them 🤷🏾♂️
lmao says the harley guy with his outdated slowass bikes
I know what you did there :)
Yamaha make really sexy bikes
My Gsx-R beats the hell out of every Harley rider friend or family member.
Case in point,
My uncle hit a deer
Bike is junk and unusable.
I hit a deer two weeks ago,
Removed the few broken crap
Went back to riding it the next day.
