Hey Sylvain, really enjoying binging on your channel lately and glad Suzuki helps you out with this. I imagine they could make it difficult to post some of this content so its cool they are on board with this. I have a question unrelated to the video. I've not seen in other professional racer's man caves but is it typical for a pro to keep a set of each of their old leathers from each season or is that more of a thing you like to do? Its like it tells your story or racing resume. I like it. Recognize several of the suits and have some good memories of going to some of those races. Anyway great work here with this channel and also doing videos in multiple languages.
Wow great recordings i love your videos many thanks. This is the most beautiful track for me, really nice and flowing, just awesome. 1:56 is really fast with a stockbike, with my old gsxr 1000 k6 standard bike was my best lap 2.03min some far away from your time.
It's great they way you get into corners, then you turn the bike really hard while getting on the gas hard. The G ball confirms what I see, it stays way out from the centre throughout the corners, never back to the centre then out. Great lap.
Standard bike, TC on, ABS on, 1:56. Be very interesting to see how many current sportsbikes would match that with same trim, same rider, same track. Great vid.
I was seriously considering getting a new gixxer thou but one thing that really put me off was the Knox video about instability at high speeds and possible tank slapping with the standard suspension set up. I eventually bought a 22 Panigale V4S. Owned a K5 1000 and would still like a post ‘17 gixxer thou though.
Hi sylvain...pls do a video on race starts..tire management..why you increase/decrease EB & TC during the race..fuel maps...and finally,I have been reading on picking up the bike on exits, how do you do that as fast as Dani Pedrosa (many say he was the best at it)..and do you do that at the Apex or Abit after

What an incredible riding session. The sound on both bikes 🏍 is exhilarating and breath taking. Can I ask a question? In the first part of the video when you are riding at 299+ that the odometer stops and you pass by him on the right side of the tarmac, how did you know that he was going to switch from the right side to the left side?
@@29once Correct! that’s the standard but sometimes the one that goes in front takes a little bit more of the inside for defensive purposes but Sylvain even at that speed seemed to know exactly what the other was going to do without hesitating even at that’s speed
@@Unfinished_Thoughts thats your answer, "at that speed" Sylvain was flying down the straight and (what the film doesn't show well) is the pace he is closing in on the guy riding in front of him, also Sylvain uses his brakes way better (made the other rider look like he just stopped), so he knew way before going over the little crest he would close up on him, carry more speed into the corner, out brake him while slipping down the inside, hit the apex, drive hard out of the corner, continue on and win (easy) bet by setting a 1:56.5..........Love this channel.
