Epic. Godspeed on your recovery Mike...
IS HE STILL ALIVE , DIDN'T HEARD OF HIM FOR A LONG TIME
HE WILL NOT RECOVER WHERE WAS GOD WHEN HIS ACCIDENT HAPPENED
@@GhostRider-ms1ep YES GO ON GOOGLE AND LOOK HIM UP POOR BLOKE
@@GhostRider-ms1ep He is still alive and can still ride in the back of a Moto GP bike (with some bungee cords)
Never seen this. Damn the wheelie at the beginning and stoppie towards the end madness.
Mamola is probably the most under-rated American road racer of all time and he's STILL a legend..! my hero for over 40 years..
Underrated no doubt about it.
Let’s not forget Schumacher was a very handy rider himself, competing in the German Superbike series for couple of years, Godspeed with your recovery Michael,
I know he is a great bike rider but I never knew he competed in bike racing
This is precious.... Randy is just one of a kind, great rider and great man... As for Michael, just too sad for words.... Both legends in my book
Randy was not only one of the most talented and fastest racers of his time, but he was also a showman and a heck of nice bloke to boot! Great to see him showing another legend of the racing world the Moto GP ropes so to speak.
oh yes the showman, the prankster, the joker, the drinker and probably user of other stimulants. I bet he wishes he could go back and do it all again. This time just concentrate on the racing and win a world title rather than a consistent runner upper.
💯What a great collaboration. Ducati and Ferrari, Schumacher and Mamola.
You know Schumacher loved every second of that trip around the track.
That was a Magical Schumacher Moment and i loved every blistering second. Thank you!
Hey Michael...thanks for all the memories, joy and excitement over the years...thinking of you daily. Oh, and thanks Randy...you're a great guy !
Randy was a badass rider. Respect!
It takes an insane amount of talent to ride and brake the bike like that with all that additional weight ...pure class
ruclips.net/video/QQ0__WKpf2s/видео.html .
What if I tell you he was actually upshifting ?
He’s then keeping the RPMs so steadily the bike just stands in that position.
Gained so much speed front wheel smoked when hit the ground lmao
That is riding art as you said.
A verry few people actually know that getting a second person with you on a bike is stabilyzing this bike like hell. It s a fact. The main downside IS that all this weight crashes the performances a lot. But believe me, I never had a highside with a Passenger on the track, and moreover, there's even some corners you can enter in faster than if you were alone ! TRUE!
@@commanderstyle06100 thanks for the new info...I'm still a beginner biker so I still have a lot to learn...my bike wabbles left and right when i put a passenger on
@@abegaz9582 it depends a lot on the Passenger you get on the bike Man. And you have to completly correct the geometry on your bike to absorb the huge amount of weight on the back. It s completly normal that your back suspension wabbles at acceleration cause it's way too soft to manage the weight. But you might have also noted that you cannot dribble anymore on the breaking phases with a Passenger. The center of geometry is pushed to the back and the Passenger completly "sits" your bike on the ground. The normal mass transfer caused by the brake causing the dribbling is corrected. That's an other good aspect of getting a Passenger on a bike 👍👍
December 2020 I watched this. Years have passed since this day. I’m happy that Randy, a guy my age, can still look back on this as a wonderful experience. I’m saddened to think about Michael. I only hope that in some way, he can to. You don’t know me Michael, but know this. In some far away land, people who you don’t know, think about you and hope for you. We we never forget.
I concur with that emotion. Godspeed the great man. F1 `s finest ever.
Brendan, you have expressed wonderful feelings for an amazing person. so many people share your wishes. Wishing you all the best Michael.
I second that
Pray for him for his soul is and will be with us for eternity
Takes off and IMMEDIATELY does a HUGE wheelie with a passenger on board and goes flying into the corner. Amazing.
Search the wheelie picture from mexico(?) ... on pepsi suzuki? Waving over the shoulder ...
Lol. Randy Mamola's trademark😉
@@GpunktHartman Please explain? Maybe i missed something?
@@christianmadsen7997 this is what i remember from that Picture ... the Sportjournal what i have with that picture in , is gone by a fire in my flat 😥
Classic Mamola! 😁
Back in '06 I was fortunate enough to have about 10 laps around Phillip Island on a Honda works bike with a rear-set piloted by one of their factory riders. As a rider myself, the acceleration was great but familiar (had a Blackbird at the time), but what these guys do under brakes is utterly phenomenal. Incredibly smooth throttle, brake, throttle transitions. Great memories indeed!
If only I had a magic wand to bring Schumacher out of his hell. Brilliant video.
:-(
This ducati sounded so different. I know it was a screamer, but it still sounded different to the other screamers. It had an F1 style pitch to it. Glorious
Desmo.
@@MrLundefaret desmo as nothing to see with the sound of the bike
@@illioskatana1512 Higher RPM? Of course not on idle.
@@MrLundefaret not even high rpm the bike sound is comming from exhaust layout and valve diagram

This is one of the most glorious, amazing, ridiculous things I have ever seen. Imagine a race like this 😳
At the end Randy Mamola got a MS F1 helmet as a gift! Two legends having a good time ,thank you very much for the upload.
Ducati sound.....music into my ear bravo bravo
Cool...........Randy Mamola, what a class act and such a humble and talented guy.
Magnifique souvenir aussi vieux que la qualité des images le prouve 😊😊
Keep fighting Michael we miss you very very much
Two legends. Thank you for sharing this video.
Thank You So Much Ducati & Randy Mamola for giving The F1 Red Baron Michael Schumacher a taste of MotoGP in 2006! A treasured memory indeed! 🙏🕯🌷🌿🌏🇮🇹🇩🇪
Just found this, thanks for uploading. Get well soon Michael, we all miss you 🙏🏽
Great to see this- always have Michael in my prayers-
I don't have any multi millionaires in my prayers !!!!.
Michael the only F1 driver that understood how much more it takes to go fast on bikes.
Respect to Michael for this.
You might want to search for Lewis and Vale at Silverstone. That's quite a special video...
That long wheelie at the start, blimey! Michael knew then he was in for a hot ride! Hope he is progressing.
We will never forget you Michael! Class ride!
Michael... You did live an incredibly exciting life... I hope that you are at peace with your family. And if God allows for you to become well I look forward to hearing you speak again. Until that day we hold dearly to all you have given to the world of racing. God Bless †
Amen to that! 🙏🏼
Schumacher knew how underrated Randy is, I only wish he could give us a fresh take on the current status of all things F1.
Funny and sad. Amazing confidence of Mamola - he wasn't hanging about. Rossi at the very to of his game at this time. Incredible that he's still racing today - and still very much a podium contender... Best wishes to Michael...
Thank you for sharing this nice moment
WoW 🤩 great vid, great characters recover full Michael. And Randy you are the man💪👏 love your wooden shoes😉
Bless you Mike, there are many fans who wish you all the best
Hi, between Michael’s formula 1 career and his accident he actually rode in the German Superbike Championship, and by the way was quite good.
Randy, Michael und Vale in einem Beitrag. Perfekt! Eine sehr schöne Erinnerung an diese Zeit! Danke
Micheal Schumacher, HERO with balls of steel. Get well Godspeed.
I can only hope that Micheal is somehow going to get better. True champs both of them. Thanks for the vid...
THANKYOU for upload this
Amazing, schumi ans Randy!
What an Epic rip around Mugello! Michael will always be the greatest STIG ever! Let's keep him in out thoughts and prayers! Hats off to you Randy what a rip ride!!!
Wooow che brividoooo Mamola grande Shummiiiii quanto ci manchi
Questa è storia 🙏👍✌️
Awesome footage thanks
2 of my all time favourite Motorsports heroes
The great Randy mamola I remember when he used to ride for Gagiva. that's what the sports missing nowadays characters like him 😁👍
Cagiva...
Randy received the first Ferrari F40 from Cagiva. I truly believe that because of Randy developing the Cagiva, his friend, and my favirite racer of all time, Eddie Lawson came on board, and received the second Ferrari F40 from Cagiva, winning the first and only G.P. win for the badge.
Folks can talk about Lewis Hamilton-Mercedes wins only, and Valentino Rossi, who has ridden every engine configuration of 500, 900 Moto G.P. bikes, and world championships on different badges, but there was just Something about Steady Eddie, who could ride the wheels off every thing. Took the number one plate off the Yamaha, put it on a Honda the next year, and one. Won the Daytona 200. My bike hero.
That's also the problem of F1. Other than the Iceman, all those youngsters don't seem like the real men I grew up watching.
Yes it was a great time and i watsch all this "old" races when i was a young man!
@@luvyesmusici4886 john kocinski also won gp's for cagiva.
We still love you Michael Schumacher.
I was there on grass, right in front where they’ve started! Got goosebumps to see this video!
Meraviglioso questo video!!!
Vorrei tanto che Schumi tornasse in pista ad assaporare l odore dei motori e so che un giorno lo farà
FORZA SCHUMI 💪💪💪

Two of my heroes!
Grandes Randy i Michael!!!
2 legends on one bike.
That bike was 4 stroke... in 2006 GP was with 4 stroke already!
Schumi we miss you so much…😢
Goosebumps
Questa sì che era una Ducati!!! Grande Mick!
OMG!!!!!! legends. Saw Randy Mamola race (for as long as the Cagiva lasted?) at the 1989 USGP. The year Eddie Lawson didn't race :(
Gary, Eddie Lawson did race the 1989 USGP on a Rothmans Honda, finishing 3rd. In 1990 he missed the race after the big practice crash at turn 2 when he lost the front brakes.
@@RickyJr46 Thanks I was trying to figure it out. It was the 1990 GP I saw then. Now I have to check if Mamola raced that :)
Solo emocion .... Los dos más grandes ....💓
Wheelie right off the bat … gems both … respect 👍👍
Speechless! 😍 Randy incredible!
I did not know about this event. I'm sorry I missed the live broadcast with the whole show.
Holy shit !!! Awesome!!
tnx for vid
Oh My God this is so fast and dangerous. But both of them on this bike look awesome.

Wow what a champion he was
Merci !
Dos grandes de la velocidad , Randy y Shumaher, por ahí aparecio el Gran Valentino Rosita.
Rosita. Qué mítico
brilliant just brilliant
💥Two of The Greatest💥
Rare footage of Michael riding on the back of a bike !
How hughe respect for michael from all there
the bike does sound just like an F1 car when idling. Great vid and nice memory. So absurd that a seven times F1 world champion, doing half the track on a Ducati WSBK on one wheel sitting at the back, has to be halted by a silly skiing accident. Wouldn't have been worse if he'd just slipped on his stairs in his sunday slippers
You're damn right!
Except for the fact that it's not a WSBK bike
Mamola è uma lenda do motociclismo!
If this happened in ’06 why does it look like 1952?
Lol I was thinking the same thing
In 2006 we usually hadn't had fast internet connection like we have today. At that time to share videos on internet sometimes you have to decrease video's quality to be able to share with your friends by e-mail. As it on video's description it is a very rare footage retrieved by myself ;)
Not to me ? That would have been black and white, skinny tyres, black leathers , half helmet and goggles going half the speed and lean angle?!
@@seRJota21 And for that thanks!
@@albertodolbeth1 you are very welcome! =)
Awesome! Both are n1!!!
