    I bought a drill still in the box from a guy off Facebook marketplace and as soon as i got home i started charging the battery. 2 hrs later, still blinking red. Contacted the guy about getting my money back and lets just say it didnt go well. To keep from burning his place down i decided to give this a try and it definitely works. Thanks Guy, you probably saved me from doing time. Lol!

      Is there any specific wire to get to connect the battery to the computer charger? Or could I just cut the cord on the charger down to wire and use that? I’ve got several laptop battery/chargers that I don’t use anymore

    amazing! this works. My tweak to the process was 2 dimes placed in the +/- terminals of the battery, hooked up a car batter charger set at 12v, 40 seconds of charge time. Worked like a champ!

    Thanks for this video. Started searching when I found that a replacement battery would cost $108. This seems somewhat risky, but worth a try. I have a ton of old laptop chargers, so here goes nothing! ...

      @@danielmachado45 Saw that one too. I have a portable car jumpstarter so might try that. Stripped one of my laptop cables and it only had a white wire and a bunch of loose wires inside. No double shielded wires like yours, so didnt want to chance it even though I'm fairly certain the loose wires are probably the ground.

    2 dimes and 4 amps on a 12v car battery charger for about 15 seconds and we are charging fine. Thanks for the video, and added tip from @Starsweeper-OG

    I didn't have extra wires. So i used Exacto blades. Charged it for 2 minutes and now it's charging like normal. Can't believe that worked!

      Out of curiosity where do you stay where there's no wire available? It's an honest question, because even in prison there's wire available when there shouldn't be. Have a good day.

    Found a good fix to start them - put razor blades in the slots of the battery, take a nine volt battery, rest + to +, - to -, let sit about 1/2 hour and voila! battery now charges!

    Can you go directly from the laptop charger to the battery? Is the red wire a different gage?

    • @danielmachado45
      @danielmachado45  5 месяцев назад

      Yeah you should be able to, the gauge won’t really matter. If it’s a smaller size it might take longer to charge but nothing longer than 10 minutes is required

      Never tested it, after I charged it; just stuck it back in the Hart charger to see if it would continue to blink. I knew if I had to buy another Hart charger it would be more money, so I took it all back. I'm sticking with only Milwaukee tools.

  • @user-ww6cb3jp4c

    And do you know why that is it's because the motherboard cannot recognize the batteries after they have been discharged so much so what you doing is just jump started it so the charger will be able to pick it up

    • @danielmachado45
      @danielmachado45  Год назад +1

      I wouldn’t. It’s not rated for the battery so it’ll most likely burn it out after a few charges. I’m not 100% sure, just playing it safe.
