- HERO VAULT 2.0 KICKSTARTER LAUNCHING Tuesday September 3rd!
For the ultimate edition of the Hero Vault 2.0, we present a return to one of our most popular special editions. First offered during the Adventurer's Arsenal campaign, the Gaia Edition is back!
Featuring stunning marquetry inlay on a Figured Myrtle Hero Vault with your choice of interior, each Gaia Edition will include a beautifully rendered, hand-inlaid flower blossom in a variety of woods.
Backers at this level may choose any flower they like for their own piece, which will be designed and inlaid by our marquetry specialist, Cesia Zamora. Alternatively, backers may choose to yield to craftsperson inspiration, and leave the choice of flower to her discretion. Either way, each Gaia Edition - like a single flower blooming in nature - will be a one-of-a-kind work of art, crafted from natural materials.
The Gaia Edition will be offered in highly limited tiers, 5 per month initially, increasing to a maximum of 10 per month due to the time-intensive, highly custom nature of each piece.

that would probably make a really cool promo gift for a newly sworn in Paladin of the Wildmother...
MrTingles Oh man, can you imagine. A flower on one side and an eye on the other. Would be so awesome for Fjord.
Not that it wasn't obvious already... but this video is concrete evidence of the exceptional worksmanship that goes into each and every Wyrmwood product out there.
Much Wow, Many Grabby Hands, Such Awesome
*Viewing intro* "Oh neat, it looks almost like the flower is.. seperate bits... OH IT IS, The grain don't lie!" Such beautiful results guys
The fact, that you didn't put any music is awesome. Perfect as always!
Oh my goodness, I have always thought that your workmanship was amazing but this is next level. Beautiful.
It looks so pretty! I don't have the money for that, but boy do I wish I did. Don't lose Cesia, you will regret it for the rest of your lives.
And of course, thanks JV and/or Mac for making sure we can appreciate this mastery with their mastery over film.
Ed took your advice and made sure to lock that down ;-) Congrats, Ed and Cesia!
@@wyrmwoodranger324 No way?! They're engaged? Congrats to the both of them :)
This may sound silly but i absolutely love her opal ring!
Yo if I got to do tiny fiddly things all day while probably listening to music or a podcast I'd be very at peace with my life
Marquetry is niche but there's still a decent market for it! It's never too late to take up a craft
or just get a job at a factory near you, I had a friend who worked in a factory building weed eaters, she just assembled tiny parts for engines all day long
The effort that goes into making these is awe inspiring, the attention to every detail is increbdible, and to see every small individual piece come together to become this beautiful work of art is amazing. This blew me away.
Thanks so much for the positive comments!
Stunning. I've watched it twice already. I love the different style of videos you produce, this being my favourite. As someone who desperately wants to do this and has seriously considered applying and moving to the Wyrmwood shop, this is inspiring work. Cesia, your work is fantastic and inspiring. These videos help me in ways you folks will probably never know, thank you
I will say it straight up, I don't game. I have been hooked on Wyrmwood videos for the craftsmanship. It is fascinating to watch you all create such beauty. This one reminded me of the tables and serving trays my grandfather used to make.. Cesia took that to a whole new level. Thanks for posting and look forward to the next one. Just wondered what kind of troll would put a thumbs down.
I love these episodes so much!
I love the crafting of videos! I feel like I learn something just by watching these extra ordinary artisans create these works of beauty. Thanks for making them. It gives us ametuers something to strive for.
what's a word for "something that's better than ASMR"
There isn't. That hammering would wake me out of the trance.
The artistry and care and detail is simply breathtaking!
I LOVE these videos where we see the process because it gives such an amazing extra level of appreciation for the pieces!
Looks a lot like Dina from LOU2. Became a master craftswoman after Ellie broke her heart. Amazing work!
Wonderful video about all the hard work & dedication that goes into crafting the Gaia edition. I love all my Wyrmwood products even more knowing how hard everyone works to make each peice.
Man that is so cool! I love when you guys release videos showcasing your craftsmenship and techniques used in the creation of your products. I would never have thought to use a cast iron pan to burn the edges to give it that depth.
From one craftsman to another, thank you for sharing.
My god, if I could barrow even just an drop of the talent displayed here. Amazing.
Astounding craftsmanship! I can't imagine many miniatures are ever going to outshine these works of art!!
Its incredible to see what goes into each one of these pieces. The care and attention to detail is a testament to their love of the craft
We love putting out the making videos, so we can share what actually goes into each product. It helps people really appreciate what they have, which we love.
Freaking gorgeous. The level of craftsmanship and detail blows me away every time
Absolutely breathtaking craftsmanship displayed here. I'm in love 😍
I am in absolute awe at the craftsmanship of these. I will absolutely be on the lookout for this in the Kickstarter ;)
Woooow. Her work is so beautiful. And I love how you showed how much time and effort goes into inlaid designs.
The video itself is a thing of beauty. Always in motion but never just busy. You did a great job showcasing her process. And the muted workshop noises were really nice as well.
Muting the workshop noises was probably the hardest part of all. It gets LOUD in a workshop
That was absolutely mesmerizing!!! So beautiful! Cesia, you are incredible!
I absoultly love your craftsmenship a lot. It's very soothing to watch. Keep up the great work these are all really pretty.
Simply amazing craftsmanship, hope some day to be on that level of expertise
this feels alot more like primitive technology (the YT channel) than wyrmlife. it is very cool to see how things are done and even cooler, that you just show it and dont talk over it. apreciate the work that goes into making the gaia vaults, but also apreciate the people who put this video together. really well done. more of that please. :)
You're right! We actually have two types of videos on our channel: Wyrm Lyfe and Making videos. This is one of the latter. Just chill videos showing how each product is made.
Absolutely incredible work. Enjoyed the way the video was shot too.
These are absolutely gorgeous!!!
Would love see more videos like this. Absolutely beautiful and enjoyable to watch
Best video put out by Wyrmwood so far...? Incredible. Cesia...are you from a different world?! That was amazing to witness.
That's just amazing, it looks so real
Absolutely beautiful. Also?? So relaxing to watch??? Love it
Awesome work! Such intricate work! WOW!
I love this video.
Most probably, I'll not back for a Gaia edition (not my cup of tea, no one to gift one, so...), but I literally LOVE the technique and the fact you commit to this hugely time-consuming works.
It shows in the best way possible your philosophy, your attention for us customers and your willingness of offering something really valuable.
This, THIS is something that makes me scream that Wyrmwood is actually on a complete different level, even though I'm not directly interested in the gaia edition itself.
Thank you for your appreciation and for speaking highly of us!
Gorgeous stuff. Wish y'all still made these pure flower versions.
I'm inspired by the beauty that you create...
Nice marquetry and thanks for the quality products.
Those are crazy good. Well done!
Cesia's skill is amazing.
Stunningly beautiful. You're amazing.
Everyone else: "American craftsmanship is a thing of the past."
Wyrmwood: "Hold my beer."
Aaaah! They’re so beautiful!
Amazing work from Cesia! Paulie the Bot did an ok job showcasing it ;)
-_-
Cesia is doing great work on those inlays.
Holy hell that is gorgeous!
Where do I buy these and do you guys accept souls as payment?! 😂😂 Beautiful work!
You can pledge for one now, through our current kickstarter: www.kickstarter.com/projects/wyrmwood/the-wyrmwood-hero-vault-20/description
This is super fascinating and impressive.
What a craftspersonship, IMPRESSED
Cool. Fun video to watch. As an editor crossing the axis and jump cuts (especially pop ins) drive me crazy though. Need neutral shots like looking at her face with some ECUs of her eyes looking intently at the work. Lots of great smooth camera movement to break up staying static. Nice and quiet too. Great natural sound.
Beautiful simply beautiful
When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought it was odd that they used paint because it'd seemed so out of character. I thought that its so intricate, detailed and the colors are too perfect for it to be made from individual inserts... Even after seeing how they're made its still hard to believe its not paint. Amazing work - even if it is borderline insane ^_-.
It takes such incredible patience and manual dexterity to get it perfect. Cesia is an artist with these!
Flawless, very talented individual. Girl after my own heart 😅, would love to create a piece of art like that or have the time to do so
So Beautiful.
Gosh Cesia does nice work
Man these are so nice
I remember when only Ian could do this, such a cool technique.
Cesia does such an amazing job with these now
Only thing missing would be cc (kind of like primitive technology's) explaining each step. Damn this was relaxing to watch
I know it silly to ask but who downvote this and why? This is beautifully made pieces, that takes alot of talent, skill and time to do. Sorry it just amazes me.
It's because there weren't enough Wyrmwood shenanigans, probably ;-)
More of these videos please.
What’s the material in the pan she’s using to blacken the pieces? Sand? Such a cool trick that takes the piece to a whole new level.
They are so pretty I wish I hope I get the money for these when there out
If you pledge for a Roll The Dice vault, there's always the chance you'll be one of the lucky few to get selected for one!
Absolutely incredible. Is that what they call double-bevel marquetry where the table is tilted at a slight angle to allow the one image to "drop" into the other one eliminating the saw kerf lines?
OOOOOO! I WANT IT SOOOOO BAD!
Those things are incredible! Props to the maker. What kind of finish you used on the wood?
We use an oil based finish, then seal it with a wax rub
WWWWWWHHHHHAAAAATTTTTTY!!!!!!!?????? I am so overly excited!!!!
I think i might have cried when i saw the daffodil
Does she do anything for the kurf made by the saw blade or does she just glue as she goes and make it all fit?
I think she tilts the cutting table to make all the cuts at an angle.
ART
Anything fun planned for October/Halloween?
Indeed there is! The latest Wyrm Lyfe just announced an awesome kickstarter for master vaults!
What is the machine called that she is using to cut the veneers? I’d like to have a go at this myself but I’ve never seen this strange love baby of a band saw and a sowing machine before.
It's a scroll saw and that's the best description of it I've ever heard
Holy CRAP.
are the deckboxes ever returning? I went to look for one to purchase but I could not find one anywhere :(
Get in touch with their custom shop. I think you can still get one that way.
@@lesliannecostello4344 Ohh thank you so much! :D I hope so I finally had enough wiggle room in my budget to get a box c:
@@piplup10203854 They have no plans to bring the deck boxes back, as of right now. You can contact customer support to see if they still have any remaining that you could purchase, but I don't think they're making new ones currently.
What they don't say, but we all know, is that she's listening to Critical Role's podcasts during this.
10:42 - Is that a cassette player on her hip?
Shhhh. Don't call her out like that ;-)
Porn on RUclips now. At least I was drooling by the end. Simply beautiful
Where's the 360p gang?
I would marry her.
Ed beat you to it!
Hi Bobby,
Big fan. Listen, I would like to work for you/wyrmwood. If I move to Mass will you hire me. Legitimate question/offer.
Thank you,
Courtney
Courtney Anne Carter they are in Massachusetts
Not bobby, but wyrmwood isn't in california! They're in a small town in Massachusetts
oh shit really!!!!!? i’m the next state over XD how did i not know this???? i guess i always assumed they were on the west coast
@@CourtyCat I don't believe they're actively hiring right now, but send in your resume to customer service! They'll keep it on file for the next time they're looking to fill a position
The filming is great, getting to watch Cesia do her thing is great. But can we please have some different audio? Like someone explaining what is happening or some music?
FIRST!
Billy Bogotá No, U
wonder what shes listening to
Christ this video needs some background music
Talented young lady !
