I love seeing the individual craftsmanship behind these pieces. I own a Purpleheart Dice Tower system and when I don’t use it I leave out for display in my study. It simply is a beautiful piece of craftwork.
I can’t stop watching this. I love the insight into the process. The skill and dedication. This video is raw and honest and genuine and it makes me appreciate the craft even more. Well done!
What I like in this process is that nothing is chain work... They follow the thing they are building from start to finish. It allows them to care much more for the finished product than if they were making the same piece of wood the whole day long... Good work Wyrmwood, very good work...
Love all these videos. I’d love to work for Wyrmwood, making awesome quality stuff with great people and things that make other people happy. Wyrmwood you’re inspiring!

Amazing woodworking, love the use of jigs, along with time and care spent into each piece. At 6:04 Is this a wooden or metal plate used to router the holes? I haven't seen this method before and love it!
@@WyrmLyfe Excellent videos, thank you! I'm a newbie to woodworking, and if you don't mind my asking, I would really appreciate some help. What Mohawk product did he first spray before applying the Tried & True? Last, how many coats do you apply over how much time? Thank you in advance - big time!
I am a newbie at woodworking and would love to know what tool is he using at (2:43)? I wanna know because I always have a ton of trouble making holes with a flush bottom to them. Thanks!
Not sure if you're still a newbie, but if you get a bowl bit for a hand router you can do something very similar. That's definitely an expensive machine that's great if you make a ton of those vaults, but don't let that stop you!
@@WyrmLyfe I just wanted to apologize and explain that I live in germany. But you are actually coming to germany - accourding to your schedule, so instead i am impressed now and will try to meet you in octobre xD Thank you :)
It’s crazy because you can go on Etsy and find even better handmade wooden trays for a fraction of the price. I don’t see what’s so special about these?

That magic card shim lol

Definitely appreciate the effort involved now. Thanks to your crafters for the insight.
You guys are inspiring as hell. Binged a lot of your online content in the last day. Thanks for breathing life into me.
This is so amazing to see! I love your dedication and I simply can't wait to hold my Adventurer's Arsenal in hands!!! :)
So mesmerizing.... Keep up the great work!
This is amazing! I'm constantly in awe of the quality craftsmanship from all of you!
This was an amazing video. Thank you for showing your process and amazing craftsmanship.
That jig using the other miter slot for repetitive and exact thickness is genius!
The craftsmanship is truly inspiring. I wish I had the talent to do this type of work.

The want to work there so badly. Just watching is amazing but to be there and be a part of such dedicated craftsmanship would be a dream come true.
Such a shame this only has 32k views a year later. The craftsmanship is just beautiful!
Watching these videos makes really appreciate the dice vault and personal tray I have.
Thats cool. I like the behind the scenes along with the end functionality and the way it packs up for storage. I want one...lol!

Title: Crafting a Complete System from scratch
Me: A complete system of what?
A magnetic dice tower system. :)
a dice tower
@@WyrmLyfe Well when you see this title in a suggested link and don't know any better, it is confusing and feels like clickbait. Might I suggest clearer titles if you want to turn random "Recommended for you" people into viewers and subscribers.
The shim being a Magic card at 1:59 is just perfect. Gaming stuff done by gaming people, epitomized. Love you guys.
That's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen
So it turns out, Wyrmwood are metalheads. Cool!
I can not wait for my master vault now. Roll on March 2019!
Awesome product!
Nice work. I even learned a couple of tricks for my next woodworking project.
What I'm curious about is which magic card is it that was sacrificed to the Wyrmwood gods ( 1:58 )
Has to be a forest lol
This was satisfying to watch.

That branding iron drill press is awesome. Also I approve of your liberal use of jigs.
Thanks! hahaa
Really cool
This is awesome. I want it.
When Jason was like "we could already be out of business" I was like "hahaha! *dies*"
What adhesive is that he's using to adhere the leather to the wood?
What would you say to creating a dice roller and dice vault as a single preconstructed item?
Nuckin futs man. Love this shit
so yes I think I could watch the making of all day.
Whats the finish you're putting on each piece? Looks homemade, does an amazing job of bringing out the character of each wood species.
It's a very light finish of Tried and True mixed with bees wax
@@WyrmLyfe
@@WyrmLyfe Thanks for replying I was wondering the same.

what kind of finish is that? looks delicious
Impressive process! What oil do you guys use to finish the wood?
Tried and True beeswax and linseed oil
What finish are you using?
What kind of wood is used for the bottom? Looked a little like plywood but not sure
What do you spray on the dice vault (at 3:27) before applying the finish?
Mohawk brand polyurethane sealer spray.
There should be a link to your actual website in the description (besides Facebook, Instagram and Twitter)... just a thought
How long does it actually take to finish this set? Quarantine continues.
So the system yer crafting is a dicing tower and a dice tray, all held together with magnets? Is that it?
Magnetic dice tower, Personal Tray and Dice Vault with a leather strap for portability.

What do you pour the wax and oil mix into before using it? At first it looked like a dice tray!
You got it! That's a tabletop Dice Tray without the divider. It also has a foam insert instead of leather. :)
When will the dice towers be available for purchase?
Dice Towers will be relaunched again next year :)
@@WyrmLyfe thank you :) even though that means I have to wait for soooo long :D

Amazing to see, but her fingers are way to close to the table saw blade. Change those jigs!
Talk about some ASMR
From a fellow woodworker, she makes a cross cut and her finger is a half inch from the blade. Not very safe. Just asking to loose it.
What type of wood is this?
looks like Zebra wood. about 14$ per board feet
It is Black Poisonwood. Just a particularly beautiful cut! :)
I love this but a little voice over work would of been helpful to explain a little bit each time something is worked on
System of what?
A magnetic dice tower, Personal dice tray and dice vault with a leather strap.
You may want to edit the title of this video so people will know it's a which system you're crafting from scratch.
