This car is absolutely amazing. It’s so hard to find any 30+ years old car this clean. Try to find any Foxbody that’s not modified and almost stock. If I had the room I’d jump all over this. It would look incredible parked next to my Gt. I don’t think most people understand how much it costs to restore any car now days. Most paint jobs are between 10-20k depending on what you want done. Unless you want your car to look like someone took a paint roller to it. Good luck with the sale.

Glad a few of these original cars still exist, we need OG examples. That car will bring a pretty penny for sure. As for pain't repair when new, at the factory, cars are repaired and spot painted after being built and going through PDI before shipping. HAppens all day, everyday on the S650's so its nothing new.

That’s a beautiful example. I have an 87 442 with 14,000 original miles in mint condition. I bought it off the widow of the original owner who bought it and just put it away in a climate controlled garage. Mine is original down to the tires. My paint is a bit thin on the fenders from buffing. I have seen Hurst Olds with less miles sell for over $40k. I feel it will eventually sell for $40k since some have sold already for $40k. That and the fact that total production is about 11,500. True original survivors are very rare. TBH, I am going to enjoy my time with it which will be a while since I love the car and owning it is not affecting me. I think all classics that are low mile mint condition examples will eventually get to whatever the price point that sounded crazy 5-7 years before because these are the best examples of any classic. Nothing beats a factory mint low mile survivor. Thanks for sharing 👍

I have a 1993 LX, 5-speed, all original. I have driven it a lot but always garaged, maintained, and clean. Like mine, this vehicle's odometer says 12,000. I am sure you are aware that the odometer only goes to 99,999. Then it rolls over. Could it be 112,000? Mine, I did buy it new. Original engine and I have rolled the odometer over 4 times now. If it was not for the pandemic, I would have over 500k, but currently, it is 441,000 original miles. I drive it easy though, despite many miles to surf and snowboard, mostly highway miles. Mine is in such perfect condition, that I get stopped several times a month by comments asking if I want to sell it. I had no idea how valuable these are. But mine keeps going strong. Regarding this car, like mine, the hood, because of how straight it is in the front, insects and little rocks hit it easily. I eventually had that painted for that reason. But then I have many miles. I also have the original keys, factory cutout key, new car sticker, and all service records in a very large file. All original though.

And you're a 100% right about owners not knowing their brand new cars sometimes getting paint work. We get quite a few vehicles that have "transport damage"
Sometimes it could be an easy fix like wet sanding and buffing...Other times we have to repair and paint areas they are damaged.
Happens more than people know, and if it's under a certain amount, it doesn't have to be disclosed to the customer.

Dude. Learn to wear your hat properly.
The Flat Bill and ears tucked in the hat was how douchebags in Long Beach, CA wore their hats 15 years ago....
    BTW, I have a '93 Black/Black Notch, factory 5.0/5 Speed with A/C, Cruise, P/W, P/Driver Seat, P/Locks, P/Mirrors, Premium Sound(Radio is gone) and Sport Seats

Let me pin this comment of yours because it is so relevant to my video. FYI I can wear my hat however the fck I want. You probably have 17" ponies but hey, I won't tell you what wheels to put on your car.
