I have a panic disorder and it’s been really bad the last few months. To the point I’m not leaving my house. I am seeking treatment later this week at a residential program in Chicago. But anyway, your videos have been my go to during my worst times. Nothing calms me like these videos do.
Hey! I hope you're doing well. I've been in residential treatment for my anxiety among other things a few times. I just wanted to say that it might be a seriously daunting endeavor, but it's usually a necessary step toward a better life when things get bad enough that inpatient treatment is considered. I wish you the best of luck in your progress this point on. You have the Heard's support! 🐮❤️
I feel your pain, I had anxiety as extreme as you. These videos definitely help, they’re satisfying and healing to see the cows feel better. The treatment I’m on is Prozac, but I take Golli stress gummies to help stop panic attacks. I wish you well on your healing journey, and I hope the medicine you’re on helps.
Good luck !!! I always look at inpatient stays as opportunities to experience something new and different and learn about myself and how to better handle the world to boot. Try to enjoy your time there, I always do.
Graeme you should be lecturing at Vet School as a visiting academic. Your knowledge, experience and wisdom of cows in general would be of tremendous value to young country vets and student vets. Your presentations resemble university tutorials and workshops. Very professional. Very knowledgeable.
I’m not sure how I ended up on the hoof care side of RUclips but I’m glad I’m here. I love your passion and compassion as much as your personal interactions.
@@jowhite4048 maybe that’s how then. Lol. All I know is I’ve been binge watching hoof trimming videos for a couple weeks. Even the code browns haven’t run me away lol
I was just thinking about how I am one of the OG followers and he is still who he was four years ago and I'm so pleased to know that he is who he is and treats people and cattle both with genuine appreciation and affection and kindness. I hope that when his daughter grows up and is able to search for her dad, that she will see time and time again what a good human he is and be able to have a relationship with him finally. He seems like the kind of person that I would've loved to have in my family.
I learn something new each time..I knew how fast hooves grow..but for them to grow back properly, I thought that was interesting. Then after you did it, I know why you did it. Trim looked good after you or Kevin, or Craig put a block on..She sure walked out of crush better thanin😮❤
At our monthly spinning and knitting meeting today, we got to talking about what YT videos we all watch. Amongst a pretty urban group of knitting enthusiasts, it’s amazing how many said they watched the Hoof GP!
Thanks for your videos. Yes this would make you say something about me being put to sleep by your videos again tonight. I am in Australia. I came from a bush town. Lived in the Australian Capital City and now living by the sea at Batemans Bay. So from my very young days having fresh cows milk plus learning how to milk a cow to now watching cows being trimmed with such professionalism, all I can say at 12.44am on now 27/01/2024 to get some sleep. Sorry roses and lavender plus sage aftershave for Kevin will be extremely unprofessional of me for the Bull smelling Kevin so lovely. I suggest at the end of the time of trimming at that farm he is first to get cleaned down mate. Ha ha ha. Much love to family and all at HGP. Louise
Love how her ears goe up at the end when she realise she is in less pain, glad she got help becose that could been far worse if not treated and digi got hold
You're either going to get no aftershave, or be left swimming in the stuff. There's no middle ground here! 😂 I love watching you guys work together. The respect and care for each other is clear.
I think you should do a docuseries on other cow things. I know you're a cow hoof guy, but you know everthing about a cow! I think a little series about their bodies and health and living in a barn would be helpful for animals lovers, kids and families!! I appreciate what you do.
Maybe I just haven’t been watching this channel long enough, but I think that’s the deepest I’ve seen you carve into a hoof. Given it was the side hoof, but still pretty deep
My boyfriend and I own a Bar and Eatery in Savannah Georgia. I don’t know too much about cows but I really enjoy these videos. It’s really nice to see a person loving their job, paying attention to detail, and informational. Honestly after having watched every video on this page I feel confident that if a zombie apocalypse comes I would be able to check my cows feet and make sure they are healthy and happ
I caught this video today, and you said that you read every one of the comments, and I still find that pretty awesome. I started watching you when you did not even have 100,000 subscribers and now you have over 2 million. I find it amazing that I watched you grow I to such an amazing thing. I said it back then that you were so therapeutic, and it obviously holds true today, and I'm so very sure that you hear it every day in at least one comment. There are times that it seems like your actually talking to a specific viewer like myself. But I know your not, it's just part of your show, and you have to know that is so true for so many. I truly hope that your success continues as it has to now. I grew up on a working farm with several cows and it was therapeutic just walking among them. Thanks for the therapy today.
When you talk through your trimming it sounds like you are thinking out loud. Sharing that is extremely helpful and entertaining. Your videos are great! Love your humor and personality. Take care👍🏻
You do such a fantastic job on these cows. You cut through the hoof like it’s butter, but you must have tremendous hand strength. Poor Kevin, be careful he doesn’t use that green glue on your mouth 😂😂
I almost feel terrible saying it, but these more difficult cases make your channel one I come back to every time a new video comes out. Doing good for the cows is gold! I don't drink milk, but cream and cheese and butter is also gold! Whatever you do to improve their moo'd is golden in my book.
I think the cow is appreciating the fact that you are trying to help her. You always play the best music on your videos. Who is it we are listening to? Love ❤️ it. Thanks for all you do helping the farmers keep their cattles feet in great shape! I wrote this before I finished watching the video. I just love you quirkiness! 😂😂😂 You always make us laugh!!!
And just like that ... I'm all caught up! Dunno if I am happy that I'm done binge-watching or sad ... but then again, my 10 year old just started watching, too, so I'll just rewtch with him! ❤😊
this is a great video and professional channel. I’ve like pet a cow once at a fair, it I appreciate the information and detail to these videos. I’ve watched every video on the channel and don’t actually own a cow. Whoever does production for this is killing the game. Steadily gaining quality, improving lighting and clarity, creating a video structure…? bch* you is doing it👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
QUESTION FOR GP: Do cows ever associate going into the crush as a positive thing? If they have gone into a crush with pain and come out feeling better, do they in the future like going into the crush?
Watching 5 months after the original posting. Poor girl, looks so sore and painful. Love this channel. Ready to become a hoof trimmer at 73 years old! Ha Ha!
She is such a cute cow, with all her vocalizing, I thought she would be slobbering but, not bad! A little shaky coming out but definitely in less pain! Nice one!💕🇨🇦
That was one unhappy cow! Usually they're silent while in the crush but she was protesting away. Good trim on this video, it's always amazing just how the dirt can go up the hoof after it gets in
I love cows, always have, always will. Growing up in a biggish city wasn't my favourite thing, so camping on a small farm - 25-30 cows at the most, I was 2-8 years old when we went there - was HEAVEN1 I used to get up at 5 in the morning and joined the farmer to go get the cows in, apart from one time when I was 5 and got them in by myself. The farmer had overslept. Life was so good in those days! Nowadays I rejoice in the fact that the local farmer has bullocks every year and they often spend time in the field next my wild garden. So I get deer, badgers and foxes IN the garden, and bullocks in the field. Except not anymore since all ten of them got into my neighbour's garden. She wasn't happy! I'm so happy to see that farmers take such good care of their cows nowadays! And hearing you apologise for the noise the calves make when their mums are in the crush or waiting, that warms my heart! It's so good to know that they don't get taken away immediately! Much better for both in the long run!
such a humble, kind, compassionate man who shows such care for his family and his hoof (MOO) family. I DON'T KNOW HOW I CAME ACROSS YOUR VIDEOS BUT MY 10-YEAR-OLD NIECE IS LIKE YOU WATCH THE HOOF GUY? WHO KNEW😊
I like how clean you guys are washing the machine out before you go to the next farm. I assume it’s to let the machinery run better by taking care of it, but I also assume it’s to reduce spread disease or anything? Very cool.

Rare to have a patient so vocal, but she clearly had a good reason
She's a live one!! I'm LOL at her mooing
You're still my favorite channel! ❤
The look she gave Graeme said it all: "The indignity of it all! I'd like to see how you'd handle being trapped in here."
LOL be nice to Kevin. He's a good guy and always has the glue ready for you
I’m not sure how I ended up on the hoof care side of RUclips but I’m glad I’m here. I love your passion and compassion as much as your personal interactions.

Seeing her walk you can tell she's better because her back is straight 💖
Absolutely incredible just how far the muck can travel up into the hoof. Nice job mate
I believe you have taught me something. From now on I will check out the cow's back.
@@jacquelinedavis6607 your welcome 🤗
Good job guys and she is definitely saying thank you for making my hoof feel better
I think the cow was saying, "Hey!! Less talking and more trimming!! This had better not wind up on RUclips."

Such a sweet man. Who else would worry about offending a cow by calling her “chappy”?

Hey guys, my merch just came in and it's awesome! I got a hoodie and a t-shirt. Thanks!!!
Seeing the cows walk away relieved from the pain the felt before is so heart-warming

yeah i'm thinking within two weeks they are going to be bringing home a truck load of after shave from the post office from all over the world.

My gosh this is just gruesome. Thanks to you for fixing her up!
I watch another homestead channel and when they took their dairy cow in to get trimmed, they put her in something that laid her in her side!
Looking good Graeme! ❤️🇦🇺🏴

I love how “talkative” this cow was during her trim..she was probably just excited to get out of there & walk more comfortable once you’re all done 😃

I love how rhythmic her tail is against the wall, it's such a big drummer girl
I just did the math. THGP is getting 100 likes per minute. Amazing!
Thanks to Graeme and big boy Kevin another cow gets relief and a healing journey. Thx guys!!!❤❤❤❤❤ Shout out to Craigie Boy !
Imagine if they added subtitles to the cows moos.
It doesn’t have to be related to the procedure, just random stuff like “Betsy stole my cud again”.
When you talk through your trimming it sounds like you are thinking out loud. Sharing that is extremely helpful and entertaining. Your videos are great! Love your humor and personality. Take care👍🏻
I wouldn’t be happy being in that Crush neither but when you put a good job of healing that hoof all I can say is bravo to the hoof GP
I dunno. It kinda looks like a mechanical hug. Then again, I'm on the spectrum, so far from normal.
Came across this channel about 6 months ago, love it and find it very interesting, and very therapeutic 😁🎥👍

I was wondering the same thing.
if i were to hazard a guess it's similar to how we feel about the dentist
I LOVE these guys! You can tell they care about the animals deeply, and those Scots are HOT!!!! Hey guys, any of you single???
Hope we get an update on this poor cow soon ❤
I know or even really care absolutely nothing about farming, but for the love of me I cannot stop watching these videos

I would love a sleep/bedtime story narrated by you. The soft way you talk while you trim is so relaxing. I practically melt into my pillow.
I had to have a hole burned in my foot it hurt so bad but when it was done I felt better walking on it so my heart goes out to these cattle
