The best medication is actually no medication. Did keto for one year, and now I’m completely out form insulin, trulicity and statins, a1c normal, glucose normal, blood pressure unbelievable, lost 50lbs in 3 months and maintaining.

True but if you need to have blood sugar goes down then medication must be taken. After you adjust your lifestyle, you can be off once your blood sugar is under control.

Dr. Ergin I want to say thank you...thank you...thank you and that I can't thank you enough because in September of 2021 my A1C was 15.0. My doctor prescribed Metformin which I refused to take because I felt I needed to make lifestyle changes first which I did. But what I did take was time to research and God led me to your videos which were extremely insightful and helpful.
Per your videos which seemed pretty logical to me. I changed my diet, increased my exercise consequently I lost weight and started intermittent fasting. As a result my A1C today is now 5.9 and I couldn't be more happy. While this is not optimal I'm confident that I will get to an optimal A1C in the very near future. But you my friend deserve your flowers and kudos for all you do for us. Thanks again!!

He tests food on how it works with his sugar levels. He showed how much lover his sugar numbers were when he ate a small plain salad with a vinegar dressing and a slice of pepperoni pizza than when he ate the slice without the salad huge difference in his numbers. Also raw carrots didn't raise his sugar levels, but when he ate steamed carrots, his number was really high.

I'm 20 pounds overweight but the Jardiance was also causing me low blood sugar incidence. So my endo increased my Trulicity dosage and took me off the Jardiance. So far I have stopped losing weight, but I haven't gained any back either and my A-1-C was 6.2 on my last blood draw. I have been having trouble wicking the blood onto my test strips because of residuals from a stroke I had following chemo and a bone marrow transplant. Some older diabetic neighbors have offered to help me figure that out. Dr Q said he was concerned about my blood calcium being a bit high and thinks it might be my thyroid, but the 100 microgram dosage of Synthroid makes my TSH level appear more or less normal. I tend to try to do certain things around my birthday, and one of them is getting annual stuff done. Any suggestions on additional thyroid tests I should asked about? (And yes, I am watching this video ON my 54th.)

Sugar Md might be different but I can tell that my "primary" Kaiser dr who just prescribed me, Metformin, Insulin, Atorvastatin, Lisinopril is only in it for the back end payment from the drug company. He even ordered Freestyle libre, which just showed up at my house (via the manufacturer or distributer) without my permission. It just showed up. even though he said Kaiser wouldn't cover it. I took the lisinopril and insulin for about 1 week then stopped. I gave up ALL forms of "garbage carbs". I did USED TO eat fast food, chips, rice, and French fries ( never was really into sweets) to healthy levels of true carbs and am losing weight, lowered my blood pressure back to 120/77. I need to up my exercise. But Why don't drs care anymore to even discuses natural change? They rather push pills at you even though the side effects of these drugs are much worse? Not sure why my blood sugars are still at 200-210 but will keep researching natural remodies. Because I am NOT "cheating" in any form.

With only metformin you actually doesn’t need to monitor the levels at all as you can’t get to low. But you don’t want to get dehydrated and use metformin at the same time.
