A beautiful, beautiful voice. Every time I listen to Jonathan Antoine, I feel as if my heart is going to burst!
I swear, Jonathon is as entertaining to watch as he is to listen to! He hums along with the music, pantomimes the song, and makes plenty of contact with the audience. What a total performer!

I saw Jonathan on BGT and thought he was an amazing singer but so shy. He has really come out of his shell and even more amazing.

+Cynthia Hawkins I'd love to see him in the US. So talented. I really hope he decides on the more difficult route of operatic performance instead of just doing concert pieces like this. He clearly has the vocal goods to sing Radames or Calaf (then we'd get to hear him sing Nessun Dorma) or the male role in La Boehme. In 10 years I can visualize him singing in a Live from the Met performance.

I first heard Vo;lare as a teen and always loved it. It was on the hit parade. I'm happy to hear it again. I'll be 77 in August, so it's like a special birthday present for me. Thank You,, Jonathan
Everyone has their "Favorite Tenor". Mine is Mario Lanza followed by Franco Corelli and then Pavarotti. This kid has Lanza's razor-blade dramatic edge in his voice. I shall buy and listen to everything he records. My only regret is that I will not live long to hear the entirety of his career output.
What makes this so special is the singing camera person. Pure joy listening to Jonathan sing Volare; she has no clue but feels the urge to join in. I call that music magic.
i never had listened to opera before hearing him on britains got talent and now im addicted to the sound of his voice.amaaaaazing.a lot of my friends who listen to hip hop do remixes with his audition.we love him

I just love watching Jonathan perform, he is so adorable. He clearly loves what he is doing, always smiling and moving with the music. I can't wait for him to come to Vancouver, Canada - the ONLY opera singer I've ever wanted to see.
Amazing! Even at 73, Domingo's personality & presence dominate the stage. Fantastic technique, physical gifts of voice & constitution, shrewd reinvention of his "job" & flexibility in roles keep him singing & pleasing audiences seemingly forever. Obviously Antoine has the talent & charisma to become a lasting star as well. I hope he studies Domingo well because it's all too easy to get chewed up & spit out by artistic professions if you aren't smart & disciplined & focused on what's best for *you* in the long run. Thanks to both gentlemen for these performances!

I get the feeling, and JonToine mentions it more than once in interviews: he has this 'great team around him'..I presume that includes a trainer, as well as top vocal coaching. Once he has a few more years under his belt, he can build staying power-stamina (SInatra used to swim and, run track, to sustain those long phrases when he sang). Opera however, is a tougher mistress than pop music; tho' you and I and others agree - Jon's truly got the stuff to hold an opera stage. But for the demands of even short operas like "Cav and Pag" he'll need to be able to sing like that for long stretches of time. I, like you, am totally sold he can..and will achieve that. And we'll be delighted when that day comes!! JonToine rocks.
