She makes me want to BE one, especially her renditions of "Botany Bay" and "I Am Australian" performed during the orchestra's tour of that country. I am not Australian, I have never been to Australia, and I have no Australian relatives, but I cannot watch either of those performances by Marusia without literally crying. I can't understand how there could have been a dry eye in the audience there or, for that matter, at this performance of "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina." These are some of the very most powerful deliveries I've ever witnessed by a vocalist in my life!
