Do you think Legendary and Mythic Heroes will continue with Book 4 or will we actually see another new Hero type? I could see Duo Heroes potentially getting mixed in if they really want another rare Hero type, but who knows what the long term plan will be for those.

That's my only wish regarding legendary heroes, not really caring which ones get the chance if they're gonna look good or have a good kit
I still remember the day when FEH Channel was released for the 2nd Anniversary.W hen the summoning animation played with Ike's Theme (Eternal Bond), I was questioning why its playing his theme and boom, Legendary Ike.

Same. It was a cold winter night. I had just seen my friends to the bus. Walked hone listening to FEH channel and the moment I heard Eternal Bond I got super hyped. Got home and talked about nothing else but Legendary Ike and build ideas. Glad to have him finally at +10 a few months back.

@@Axel-1999 In addition to what the other guy said, Sothis is also the name of the Greek goddess who personified the star Sirius. "Fell Star" and "Seiros" are also references to Sirius. In the game Sothis is said to reside on the Blue Sea Star, which the people of Fodlan celebrate when it becomes visible in the 7th month of the year... which is also when the Egyptians celebrated Sirius becoming visible in ancient times!
I was so hyped when Ike got a legendary. He was so fun to use and still is useful. I honestly cant wait for Ragnell refine.
LIke was starting to really fall behind at the end of last year, but Special Spiral has given him a pretty fun PVE niche that still holds up. I'm still pretty satisfied with him as is. Now OG Ike... boy does he need refine!

I think legendary Hector has to be my favorite, but I'm biased since I had transcendent luck on his debut and rolled six using only f2p orbs
To be frank, Legendary Ephraim is my favorite out of all of them. He is nothing special, but with Atk/Spd Solo or simply Death Blow, Heavy Blade and Galeforce, he just completely sweeps everything that isn't a green tank and then he just runs away or sweeps another foe. Desperation also works well on him. Simple, I know, but hey, it works surprisingly well.

Gaius #WoltisloveWoltislife I completely agree I have my Ephraim Death Blow 4, Desperation 3, and Even Spd 3. He’s +ATK and has some ok Spd which is what the C skill is for he kills almost everything even in legendary hero battles in infernal.
@@theretherebearbears7631 More attack, so if the Team exists just to support him, then give two of the members Goad Cavalry and one Hone Cavalry, which should grand him an additional 14 attack and speed. While he cannot quadruple with his Flame Siegmund, the extra speed should help him prevent a foes speed based follow-up. Because he is a cavalry hero though, he has very little to stop enemies follow-up attacks, so it's best to invest in his defence too, in case he does not kill a foe. So I would prioritize Sturdy Blow or Atk/Def Solo over Death Blow 3 or 4, just in case he cannot kill in two hits.
For team members, I recommend units like Valentines-Titania or, if you still have her, Tome-Eirika, who can be build up easily but will punch through green physical tanks that Ephraim struggles with. He also appreciates defence and attack debuffs, so maybe add a cavalry healer like Priscilla with Chill Atk and Defence and maybe, if you would like to go all in with the investment, the Kumade+. A healer is also advised, because if you run Heavy Blade/Galeforce on Ephraim he will wear himself down pretty quickly, because you loose out on Sol-Bands healing. The green member can be whoever you want, preferably however a tank like Frederick or even Walhart, because Ephraim struggles with tanking blue and green foes if you run the Galeforce build. However, the green member of the team is pretty open. Kaden can provide additional support and offensive options. OG-Cecilia can stomp Archers with whom Ephraim struggles, because of a lack of Distant Counter (and he can't really make use of it anyways, so...). Heck, even someone like Picnic-Leo works. So feel free to mix and match as you seem fit

Btw what do you think of Legendary Eliwood? I don't have a good cav team, so I'm looking to build one right now and I'm thinking of making him a buffer on my cav team. He's +def -hp, does he really need to be +atk that much? I swear whenever I see Eliwood build it's always +atk.

Bonus trick: Use Thrasir's tome to debuff an ally and then apply Harsh Command to them so they get +4 on all of their stats. *flies away*

Legendary azura is in like almost my compositions. She is so great with that bonus movement and the extra stats.
Honestly I hope we get more 3 houses support like we could get a mythic immaculate one Rhea. Although it’s quite early for a time skip unit

quite early for her. next year or in the new year expect more 3H content though
I would say the best two are definitely Azura, then Alm. But after that it's very difficult to rank the rest. I could see arguements for Lucina, Hector, Tiki, Eliwood and even Hrid.
I really want to see the three house leaders as legendary heroes in their post time skip attires.
Legendary heroes where just "meh" tier units at first, And then they put the L in legendary and turned them into absolute beasts
L!Azura is my fav of all time since she is my waifu. After that I gotta say L!Alm and Sothis to me are the most fun to use.
I love the legendary ephraim. He has the aether skill, distant counter, savage blow, is a plus 1 merge with 4 of 5 dragonflowers, plus the speed boost +3 in the sacred seal spot, along with his solar brace b slot skill
L! Lucina is amazing with a Link skill. I got her Atk/Spd Link during the Halloween banner from Halloween Niles, and it’s terrifying. She gets to buff herself and still have an action, as well as giving whatever ally she swapped with a buff too.

I just found this video (I know, I know, very late) but it was highly informative. I really liked your methods of evaluation for every hero and their pros and cons.
My favorite comment was legendary Azura: could have 0 base stats and she'd probably still be one of the best dancer/support units in game xD

I have a -Atk/ +Spd L!Alm and he is so good. He hits like a truck and is super fast.
Might be random, but I'm going to build a perfect Arvis. The man just looks dashing, and he almost reminds me of someone.
As a proud owner of +10 Arvis, go have fun building him :D, His stat are pretty flexible for a gen 1 unit, you can build him pretty much in any way. Also look at that majestic hair and that cool tome animation, hopefully theyll give GHB and TT units refine soon
back when abyssal wasnt a thing, if i had issues with an infernal map, i'd throw just throw ike in there. if that didnt work then id basically give up lol. only L! unit i have (unintentionally) +10'd over time

I started using Legendary Lyn before I really realized how good Bond skills are for my playstyle so I ended up experimenting with different bows for her. Eventually I settled on the Cocobow and Bouquet Bow (Coco granting a small round boost during player phase and Bouquet granting an extra Swift Sparrow 2) and she's turned out pretty alright for me.
Hector is one of, if not my favorite fire emblem character. I was so happy, (and relieved), to get him in +atk -res IV on my last orb during his original banner. Though I feel like he's still a threat to watch out for, he is definitely outclassed in terms of overall usage some legendary/mythic units, and even some permanent units.
I love Legendary Leif. He's an incredibly powerful and fun to use unit, carrying my Arena team to Tier 21 for the first and likely only time. He's insane on offense, his bow's impact effect making up for his speed by preventing him from being doubled when attacking, and his attack, currently the highest of any archer in the game, more than makes up for Meisterbogen's low might. Njorun's Zeal also makes him the closest thing we have to a Galeforce ranged unit we have in the game, for good reason as even with the movement penalty (which can be removed with Restore or Harsh Command+), he still can attack anyone within three spaces, making it likely they'll have been debuffed by his defense smoke and he'll do even more damage. This also makes his arguably one of the best CC+Vantage Heroes when you also take into account his guaranteed double on enemy phase. He has enough bulk to survive a hit but be pushed within Vantage range and then he'll murder everything, trust me, I'm speaking from experience. I made him solo every GHB with a CC+Vantage build just to see if he could. Being a pair-up hero and cavalry also make it possible to boost him into quadding range, although he rarely needs more than two hits to kill, just ask the +10 Hardin he ran into in Arena. Legendary Leif is a powerhouse and I'm glad he is, seeing as he's my favorite Fire Emblem lord and character in the entire series.
Legendary Robin is also great, I have her with +res and she makes a powerful mixed tank, especially for flying teams. Future Vision makes Legendary Lucina a lot of fun as well and Julia can nuke almost anything into oblivion. I don't care much for the Mythics but Sothis is fun with a well built kit of powerful skills.

Very helpful video!! I've accidentally gotten most of them (I try to snipe for seasonals) but gotta say Ike is still my favorite legendary unit. Azura's everything has been SO helpful too. Can't wait for Legendary Corrin, Micaiah and Edelgard and then I can die happy.

I'm guessing when they're released, they'll probably have their war outfits and relics! There are so many cool things they could do for the legendary three houses protagonists, for example something about having another action regarding Edelgard's double crest or maybe even a L!Lucina-like time gimmick for Byleth; or having their crest as unique specials/skills ... I really hope they do something creative for them since they have so much potential material for it
I’ve used Ephraim the most. He currently uses Def/Res Solo. I have really been enjoying Leif. I got a +Spd so he’s turned into a quad archer with Darting Blow SS.
I love Legendary Lucina. Future Vision allows for some movement shenanigans. I gave mine Swift Sparrow 3 so she gets a ton of stats on initiation. She's won several AR runs for me.
Sothis is my favorite mythic, she's super useful quite a powerhouse and with a speed boon and bonus doubler she's shredding a lot of stuff
I *really* like Legendary Julia. I’m hoping to get her this November.
Legendary Ike is still my favorite to this day. I use him *everywhere* lol. Legendary Tiki is a close second. I've been using the both of them on all of my LHB runs with pretty good results (just don't ask me about Abyssals).
Legendary Hector is my favorite unit in the whole game, I made him a dual phase monster with bold fighter and QR, plus I gave him aether so he can kill and stay alive for longer, he's a force to be reckon with especially when paired up in the right team

My favorite usage of Hríd and Gunnthrá is actually with NY!Laegjarn and NY!Laevateinn. The amount of debuffs from various sources means you’ve almost always got some sort of debuff on any given unit for the Nifl siblings, and the Múspell sisters can tank and heal up as well, especially in wind season with the 6 extra hp and 4 def/res

@@patrickstar8132 She might not be a fighter herself, true, but Divine Fang really destroys dragon units if high atk units are affected by it.
My favorite two are L! Lyn, and L! Azura. I really like Lyn as a res tank, she has good watch ups against greens and can deal that damage when she needs. Lyn with Azura is fun, Azura also helps patch up my W! Thaja's atk bane. That's great.
Definitely have bias for Lyn, but I do find her legendary alt to be a lot of fun.
I did give her close counter vantage. Stupid choice, but its something for shits and giggles, especially when she has moonbow and flashing blade in her c slot.
Legendary Ephraim is still my favorite
I actually got him in his debut banner but was Spd+, which disappointed me a little because Spd is not his most important stat, but after thinking for a while, I made a whole new kit based on Solar Brace with Spd Harmonic Lance, Life and Death, Aether and Heavy Blade. The dude does like 60 damage per Aether to some targets and when that happens, he almost always goes back to full health! He has helped me a lot in PvE content and he’s also fun to use in PvP modes and even with 39 Spd, he almost never gets doubled and with Spd buffs, he doubles a lot and he manages to activate Aether pretty often. I’m also started playing Sacred Stones for him and I’m only missing his EphLyon alt
I hope we get Mythic/Legendary (maybe new category of unit?) story characters like Laevatein and Ylgr. I like that they're getting seasonal stuff, but I feel like they deserve more imo. I wanna know more about these characters and I feel one of the best ways to do that is through having them be units through events like forging bonds.
I actually have at least 1 copy of every one of these except for Sothis.
My favorite has to be Roy, not only from game bias (I beat fe6 3 times already), but also his banner released on my bday and I pulled him in 20 orbs. His base kit is really good and with +Atk -def I use him in my main chain challenge cheese team (with nino, eir, and l!azura)
tbh I really like Lyn on a tactics team with B!Lucina with fury/vantage just because of all the blue units from those copy/pasta teams.
But I got L!Eliwood on my main team, and as a galeforce unit with tactic buffs I gotta say this guy has probably surprised many people who thought he was 'support' only
Fjorm is my fave legendary hero because of her wellrounded statline making it easy to use tho isn't as good as specialized heroes. As a character she is underdeveloped in the story (dropped the game after book III so can't say much about convos in forging bonds etc.) and the whole feelings for the summoner thing that is building up feels like it comes out someones kid hero fantasyt (tho id still waifu her)but she is still nice and has a cool design.
Only thing about L!Alm is that his low defensive stats could be oneshotted easily by anyone with a high attack such as P!Flora, Idunn, M!Grima, or Any Hector.

My team at this point has 2 of my favorite legendary heroes, Saint Alm and Legendary Hector. An amazing archer and a strong as hell tank, I'm hoping to replace my singer with Legendary Azura when she comes back

Legendary Azura was the last Stat with the Blessings and then there where Pair Up and i remember that Fire Blessings For the Spd And Earth Blessing For Res they never come and Legendary Roy came but with the first Pair Up and then Legendary Alm came with the Earth Blessing and he could be give Res but no the make him a Pair Up to but i don't think they gonna make for those Stats Heroes
Gunnthra's my only +10 project as a Legendary Hero. I love her so much, despite her untimely end in Book 2, she's such a gentle, caring, and strong character. Her being defiant to Surtr in her last moments was one of my favorite things about her.
-I've whaled so hard for Legendary Lyn when she first debuted, only for her to never come home. Feelsbadman. I know everyone says she's "bad" but those kind of heroes always end up being my favorite projects
My team with Thrasir is Idunn, since (I think) her attack turns all penalties into buffs, so I like to keep em together. Also Nanna, in case my Skydancer Olivia or L!Azura gets affected by Thrasir instead. Nannas base heal move removes all negative effects, after all~
I absolutely love some of the classic legendaries and despite power creep they still hold up if build well. What is incredibly annoying is the fact that one is basically being penalized for using them in the hardest mode of the game, Aether Raids. I really hope IS does something about that.
Damaging Specials also works with Solar Brace Making it a weaker/faster Aether

Despite me having almost all of them (missing Lucina, Tiki, Roy and Thrasir) the only ones that have resisted to this day in my teams are Azura, Eir Yune and Eliwood. I've just picked up Alm, though, so maybe he'll resist the test of time. Others that I also used and liked though were Ephraim, Grima, Marth and Hrìd. I'm waiting for a legendary healer (and Mythic Lyon/Fomoortiis!!), I wonder what kind of busted weapon they'll give them.
you said that l!eirika competes with brave b!roy, i think its important to point out that eliwood also has that refine and is much easier to merge with only 4 less base speed
i also wouldnt really compare the two with l!eirika being a unit built for one shots somewhat like l!alm and b!roy/eliwood being galeforce units
Like all different ways but love L roy.L erika bloody moon build.L azura thasir .alm and eir is my favorites.sothis up there too.
Well... I like most of my legendary heroes, as they are the ones that I actually have.
Fjorn is still neutral, but I put on her Guard and Aether, so she can deal with melee units better on PVE content with no ranged units.
Ike also has a quick riposte, cause he is slow most of the time, but can get back to full health with a good Aether.
I really like Gunnthra as a unit. She is actually one of my most used legendary heroes.
Hrid has oner merge, but he is incredibly strong, even without the + ATK boon I hope to get one day. Both he and Gunthraa are together most of the time, so both can target more units for their respective weapons, with the other units helping with debuffs and buffs.
L! Hector and L!Marth are my only fire blessed heroes, but I do love using both of them.
As you say L!Marth can face any dragon, regardless of lack of effectiveness against Sothis.
L!Hector is always on PVE for an easy mission, though mine has a bane in HP, so he can die rather easily against magic. Have to be careful with him.
...The only legendary that I have that I don't like is L!Lyn. I haven't even bothered to build her properly, but I don't find it in myself to just give up on her. I'll build her someday, but she is last on my priority list at the moment.
I wish to get Roy, Azura, Alm, Leif, Julia, and Eliwood in their legendary forms someday, but I can only hope for the best.
Also regarding mythic heroes...I only have Eir, and besides Sothis and Naga, I don't really care for them.
I hope we can get more stat blessing granting heroes. I'm tired of wind and fire to be my best seasons only.
Laying these all out makes me realize how few legendary characters I bothered to pick up. I'm missing like, one single brave unit at this point, but I only have a couple of legendary/mythic heroes.
Sothis has definitely been my favorite, her sustainability and damage are just too good. I'm strongly considering trying to +10 her over time. Honorable mention definitely goes to Legendary Ike who I still found myself using surprisingly often during endgame content right up to the point that I got Sothis.
I'm the same, I got a lot of brave heroes over time , but only a few legendaries. I used to love trying to get them but now I just find legendary banners to be an orb-bait; I don't count the number of times I didn't snatch a single unit despite spending 100+ f2p orbs, or spending more only to get the only unit I didn't want to get lol.
So now I only bother rolling on legendary banners when I want most of the focus units, or when Roy or Ryoma show up (it took me like a whole year to get my first Ryoma merge) - which is a shame, because a lot of the previous focuses had interesting units in them, but they're so hard to get and you have 2/3 chances to not get what you want.
I really love Thrasir even though i dont have her. Hoping to get her when she reappears. I also like Sothis. Gonna go for her and Líf if he's the mythic this november.

If Laws of Secae would have been both phases, Lyn would be pretty dope. Those attack and speed boosts add up, it's just annoying having to tank something first, may as well use fury 3/4. Maybe they'll do skill refines down the road?

Of the first couple of heroes that have been power crept, Ike has held strong cause of that Radiant Aether.
i know its weird but i like archers a lot, so my favorites Legendary heroes are Lyn, Lucina and Alm. I know Lyn sucks but she was drawn by one of my favorites artist in this game (besides i already have her at +3). I still don't own Leif so...

Well so far we have a flying blue archer Lyn, an infantry green archer Lyn and a cavalry colorless archer Lyn, so... armored red archer Lyn for Christmas?
I would say Julia is at the same level as Alm as she just one shots most units

L!Ike is still my go to. Gave him Special Spiral (w/ +10 flowers) and he just goes ham. Need to merge him up to make him invincible.

L!Lucina is still my favorite unit. She's just fun to use. All of her positioning shenanigans are fun when you use them, but I hate facing her in AR.
L!Roy has definitely grown on me. I managed to get 3 copies of him while shooting for Dancer Micaiah on his debut banner. He is really a simple and straightforward unit and he just works. I really like using him.
TBH this may sound like personal bias but I really love Duma. The man has been a main stay on my Aether Raids team when I managed to summon him on my first try when he was released. That plus I ended up sacrificing my Brave Ephiram with -Atk +Res and a Nailah for Special Fighter and Distant Counter. He has insanely high attack, can deal flat out 7 damage to everyone in the enemy team on his team phase, and can be quite tanky if built right. Still my favorite legendary heroes has to be L!Roy and L!Hector. Both are insanely good with Hector now being on my Arena and PvE teams and L!Roy on my team solely made to fight dragons (Comprised of B!Alm, B!Ike and Naga).
I'm using Thrasir with Brunnya... The game suddenly got really fun lol.

I'd honestly like to get merges for my Legendary Ike and Gunnthra
Naga is my favorite of all these heroes (L! Erika is a close second). With plus 9 to all her stats then another plus seven to atk and spd ( Bow Hinoka with goad fliers and drive atk and spd) and another plus 6 to atk (L! Marth with atk tactic) and plus 6 to def and res ( dark azura with def and res tactic) she has 43 hp 71 atk 54 spd 45 def and 41 res (has plus hp asset, 1 merge and 2 dragon flowers) she has almost if not broken stats and you can’t forget her amazing art, it is in my opinion the best art in the game.

Julia never met a dragon she couldn’t kill. She’s so helpful in AA just like Marth
Hríd is amazing but Thrasir and Hríd on the same team is really nice and I built a debuff team and a way to get rid of or utilize Thrasir's debuffing teammates
I just slapped special fighter aether and fort def res 3 on L tiki and she solos pretty much anyone and she is plus spd minus def sadly but still a monster
i actually recommend Lector if you want a good working galeforce team. with Ostia's pulse, you can guarantee if played wisely three guys to proc galeforce and destroy an anti tank AR defense team.
slaying bold fighter makes Lector a good galeforce unit

I personally think Eir is near perfect. A colorless unit that can take advantage of flier buffs/skills. A really good stat spread that makes her good out of the box since its very synergistic with her base kit, she's even a great tank in AR during bonus season because of her color, stat spread and movement type. Sparkling boost is one of the best support skills in the game imo, coupled with mystic boost she becomes a respectable healer in modes like TT because she has self sustain. Mystic boost also makes her very useful for dealing with dragons, since ranged dragon counters are pretty rare and falchion users are not the best choice for most situations due to their range/color.
Eir was pefect to be the first mythic hero because she has made Light season incredibly easy and made easing into AR a pleasant experience. I used to take her for granted until Naga's release. Having two Naga's on a team to score optimally has made Astra very frustrating because a lot of the times she just ends up being a buff bot/score stick and she isn't even that great for breaking buildings because of her range. Naga can't even support as well as Eir since her blessing is inferior because of the AR meta.
With all this upside I don't see how any of the current legendary/mythic heroes can even come close to being as useful and versatile as Eir.
