I've stopped watching Warikoo's videos a long time back. He keeps doing Excel Excel Sip Sip but can he show one metro city in India where rents or property rates have gone down? Salaries won't increase at a high % beyond a point but expenses will shoot up due to inflation and he never factors in emotions. It's soo important in today's world to have a house of your own specially if you live in a metro city. It doesn't have to come with too many amenities or luxuries but when you pay EMIs also, remember one thing the interest rate on it is actually lesser than real term inflation. Stop following fake inflation data of 5-6% as it's only to fool people. Amit ji has opened eyes in soo many ways with fantastic logics and explainations
Exactly, no one talks about the fact that salary increasing by 10-15% annually on Excel is a complete joke 😂 In reality, you can end up stagnating, quiting or losing your job, switching careers or reaching a salary barrier depending upon your field of expertise. Also expenses can't remain static or be predictable in the long run. Forget about factors like inflation or returns which fluctuate wildly dependent upon economic, social, geopolitical factors. Best advice is to invest to the best possible abilities and focus on increasing income streams while striving to enjoy life.
Very much right, having good income and bad relations, bad health and tense life is worth nothing. The younger generation needs to understand this, reasonable income with contented life is much better.

And emotions can cause your finances to change based on you spending emotionally. Also , if you are rich or not also depends upon the timeperiod that you are working. Plus, you can use it to keep as mortgage and you do get a very small percentage as non-taxable return which is in a way better than Gold jewellery?
