Never ever give your 100% to anything in life. Never drive your Scooter in reserve. Refill as soon as the reserve is hit

I used to be a successful freelancer before, I gave my 110% in that. Now, I am in depression because I am not doing well at all. I gave my 100% in my first relationship, that ended up in a miserable break-up which affected my mental health tremendously. Guys, never give your 100% in anything, because if that fails, you will suffer 1000%. Important life lesson this is. Thank you Amit Sir.

I completely agree to you Amitji. Better to be Mediocre. Best example is Amir Khan -
Amir give 100% to career but other side,
He is 2 time divorcee (NOT A GOOD HUSBAND)
his daughter is in depression from age 18-24 (amir khan is not aware) - NOT A GOOD FATHER
His brother is jobless and mentally tired person because of X reason - NOT A GOOD BROTHER.

You are absolutely correct but very difficult for a working woman in our society. Office mange100/. Husband mange well managed home , mummy jaisa tasty food with cheerful mood. Children need your full attention for their carrier. Elder mother always in bad mood because you are not giving her time. After a certain age your health also need attention. End result you don’t have any time for yourself. 😢

As he said, their expectations will change automatically over time. Yes, they will not like it initially, but will adjust to it. I see this issue very constantly with women in my own house. They want to score 10/10 in all areas. Don't do it. Get time for yourself

    Good video sir Ji.very realistic.
My percentage in senior school was 76 and BTech it was 76% 😊. I thoroughly enjoyed studies and landed a good job from campus. In early professional years I was at 95% and less on health and family, but it paid handsomly. Now I have built up good corpus and prefer to go easy at my job. I am focusing in health family sports and finances. In corporate world you might be tagged as laid back but when you are intellectual, financially satisfied, others' perception about you don't matter much. stay humble, keep balance in life. Thank you for wonderful video.

Excellent video 🙏 I have always argued that nothing is wrong in being mediocre! As long as u r happy doing whatever u r and maintaining a good standard of living why bother about what others say?? Believe me I have fought for such average people all my life ! Some people understood me and many didn't because of social compulsions. I was severely criticized for not being ambitious. But I continued leading a simple and a happy life and my husband too is like me. My son too is not very ambitious but doing well. He too is happy with his wife. No matter what we do we must be happy and contented in life. Otherwise whatever u achieve will be useless. But I know majority is not with me. Most of them want to excel and become number one !!Hope ur video will change their minds!!

👏. nothing is perfect in life..each person has limitations..the final objective is to be happy by balancing and trying to optimize..this lies in the middle path the true concept of Buddhism..excesses lead to imbalance..aim to please the soul more than body for lasting happiness. 🤔

He doesn't say that u don't have to excel as a student....he says once u r a family man u have so many roles to perform. And there occurs conflict....coz here one area can be excelled at the cost of another and that is not advisable, so being a family person one has to take care of many areas at the same time, then we can make an average of our performance in every role and can do justice to many things at the same time without compromising on any area.

I agree very much with this. Even as a student, giving just 100 to your acads, you miss out on extra currics, friends, and the overall enjoyment. What use is your 9.5 cpi like this?
Attending college everyday and exhausting yourself
My overall chill life of getting 8.5-8.8cpi, causally taking holidays if wanted, Kutch Kutch farak nahi padta
    Overall khushi rehti hai

That's a great video. Managing expectation is very important. I had heard about it in professional life. But I never knew it can be applied to every aspect of life in this way. Set lower expectation, such that people will get a "pleasant surprise" when you give more or perform higher. Giving 100 percent in the first place, getting burn out and despite this, listen to everyone's complaints will get us into a vicious cycle of "burning out" from which there is no escape. We should plan to show some "scope of improvement" in advance.
