Or uss samay anjaane me hi "single hand" approach thi meri maine kabhi ispe dhyan hi nahi Diya k kis post ki kitni vacancies hai mera competition khud se hi rehta tha k exam koi bhi ho 80%-85% k upar lana hai bas baki cut off apne ap clear ho jayegi, shayad isi approach se mera debilated mercury hote hue bhi competition clear hua kyunki maine kabhi competition dusro se kiya hi nahi tha khud se hi competition kiya tha.

Actually we are living in cosmos where not even stars and planets have free will, everything is happening according to the laws of this universe. And yet we humans think that we have free will and can do anything we want. Actually it is our ego and societal conditioning which is based on consumerism (where achievement is celebrated)which makes us think that we are the creators of our destiny , but actually we can't. We can control only our perception towards what is happening around us, nothing more.
Here's an alternate perspective (counter-argument) = You are advising us to play multiple games, but every game in life it's own set of rules and nuances. If we keep focusing on all games simultaneously, it will cause a great diffusion of focus and we won't be able to excel in any of them. What I would advise though, is to select that group of games that have similar set of rules, and keep playing till you reach the top.
1. Life is a single player game..many people destroy their lives comparing with someone else.. competition should be with oneself only 2. People need to do multiple things in life and not just be dependent on one thing only..do not be a one trick pony.. doing multiple things will increase your chances of getting success

When i was a child i used to think with hardwork we can achieve everything in life, as i grew older and started preparing for competitive exams i realized that luck plays a big role too. I work so hard, even harder than all the fellow candidates yet i somehow always lose. I have seen so many students who crack an exam by doing half of what i did. Some crack upsc and some don't, now what's the guarantee that those who couldn't clear it didn't work hard? Log kehte hain ki mehnat karke toh kuch bhi achieve kar sakte hain par phir jin logo ne mehnat ki unke exams kyu clear nahi ho paa rahe? Obviously hard work plays the biggest role but in order to execute that hard work you need to be in a place that only luck can get you in.

When i was a child i used to think with hardwork we can achieve everything in life, as i grew older and started preparing for competitive exams i realized that luck plays a big role too. I work so hard, even harder than all the fellow candidates yet i somehow always lose. I have seen so many students who crack an exam by doing half of what i did. Some crack upsc and some don't, now what's the guarantee that those who couldn't clear it didn't work hard? Log kehte hain ki mehnat karke toh kuch bhi achieve kar sakte hain par phir jin logo ne mehnat ki unke exams kyu clear nahi ho paa rahe? Obviously hard work plays the biggest role but in order to execute that hard work you need to be in a place that only luck can get you in.
He mentioned talent also. Its not about just hard work. IQ aur memory bhi koi cheez hoti hai. Hamesha luck nahi hota to crack competitive exams

I reached 4 times in interview in government jobs. 2 interviews went well, 1 normal. Missed 5 selections at final stage
