Single child, brought up lonely without siblings or other family members/working parents/too much money which leads to lack of enthusiasm to do something as everything is just bought with money/ parental pressure/no access to playgrounds, nature/ too much screen time etc etc last but not the least mental/psychiatric ailments are rampant. All mental illness might not be severe and need doctors but definitely it takes toll on overall personality. Both men and women face this challenge. It's more present in society than one thinks. Thats the reason alcohol and drugs are practiced , in all young people belonging to all stratas of society.

Even though it was for men, I would like to tell you that, no, we as women, we're supposed to be equally responsible for work, and no, we can not cry and stay at home because we are required to work too with just as much strength and in even worse situations. And the fact that men used to marry women who were unemployed because women were not given the rights to work and even today the women who are unemployed are often considered submissive (who can be very easily controlled and manipulated by the man and his family), and therefore men tend to choose them (and i do not mean to generalise at all but thats what is thought of unemployed women in general). And if we talk about today's scenario, sir, no working man plans on marrying an unemployed woman. Cannot agree on this. If a man likes a woman, he doesn't care much about her employment status. Women are not like this. Forget unemployed, they don't even marry who are considered doing lower jobs - like factory workers. They always look for those equal or higher to them. I rarely see women take social responsibility. When a road accident happens, it is always men who come to the aid. Same whenever a natural disaster happens. These are pure evolutionary traits. You cannot hide this.

This is a phenomenon which is seen all over the world. The reasons are many in India. Single child, brought up lonely without siblings or other family members/working parents/too much money which leads to lack of enthusiasm to do something as everything is just bought with money/ parental pressure/no access to playgrounds, nature/ too much screen time etc etc last but not the least mental/psychiatric ailments are rampant. All mental illness might not be severe and need doctors but definitely it takes toll on overall personality. Both men and women face this challenge. It's more present in society than one thinks. Thats the reason alcohol and drugs are practiced , in all young people belonging to all stratas of society.

With all due respect, I wish to express to you that I have come here after watching the gaali wala video.
Even though it was for men, I would like to tell you that, no, we as women, we're supposed to be equally responsible for work, and no, we can not cry and stay at home because we are required to work too with just as much strength and in even worse situations.
And the fact that men used to marry women who were unemployed because women were not given the rights to work and even today the women who are unemployed are often considered submissive (who can be very easily controlled and manipulated by the man and his family), and therefore men tend to choose them (and i do not mean to generalise at all but thats what is thought of unemployed women in general). And if we talk about today's scenario, sir, no working man plans on marrying an unemployed woman. It is after decades that we've gotten the right to work and so we can not stay at home crying that we have a headache.

Women are not like this. Forget unemployed, they don't even marry who are considered doing lower jobs - like factory workers. They always look for those equal or higher to them.
