I remember as a collegiate athlete the discussion of steroid use came up. I was bench pressing 225 weighing 150 pounds. Freakish for a 23 year old woman. I responded to the discussion of steroid use with a big fat no way! I had just completed a nutritional study about weight loss drugs and did not like what I saw there. No way would I have the guts to go on gear just to be a stronger athlete for a short period of time. My coach, the one who brought up the topic, was proud of me for being firm in my position and he agreed strongly with me. It was a good discussion to have though at that stage in my journey and I am glad that my coach educated us on the end results. None of us were gear nor desired it. This is a such a good topic of discussion and I wish more fitness influencers would be just as brutally honest with education. Thanks you!
I had bloodwork done and my testosterone was low for women, but the doctor said "there's no too little testosterone for women if you fixed it that would be doping. " well, thanks I payed 200€ for the blood pannel
You could try to find another doctor, but it might be difficult to find someone progressive and well-versed enough. For women DHEA can be pretty effective for raising testosterone levels to physiological ranges (check out MPMD and Peter Attia podcast where they talk about it), maybe that could be something worth looking into, as its over the counter in many countries.
Years ago I used to talk with Steve Michalic. He had taken steroids when he was in bodybuilding and got cancer. He said anyone can have cancer cells that may never become active. But when you take steroids they grow like they are on steroids because they are. I have to admit I have been tempted to do it. But I always thought it isn't worth the risk.
Gotta Love the message against the glorification of steroids. 99.9% of cases would be better off visiting a mental health specialist rather than resort to test.. plus, going to a shrink is legal 😊
I wrestled at a D-1 college at 197lbs and 184lbs. This was in the late 90’s. And early 2000’s damn near everybody was juicing. I was too scared of needles to even try it lol. Now I’ve been running ultramarathons. For the last 12 years.

400 migs a week ( 200 migs bi weekly) is a steroid cycle and your T level is very low for that dose. Since no legit doc is giving anyone 400 migs a week my guess is your gear is under dosed unless you have CRAZY HIGH SHBG.
That video you made with Dr. Mike about the effects of steroids on women was weirdly eye opening for me. I've never considered taking steroids so I only watched for entertainment, but it wasn't until you described in detail what would change about my body if I took them that I realized just how much I value my femininity. I've never viewed myself as particularly feminine because a lot of traditionally feminine interest don't appeal to me, but oy boy am I a lady. No judgement to anyone, but it was horrifying on a deep level to imagine things like my jawline and my voice becoming masculine.
This entire video was gross levels of misogyny, policing the femininity of others, and had almost nothing to say about actual health risks while cutting out everything these women had to say about their own femininity and societies made up standards for femininity. There's basically no part of this video that wasn't gross. Which makes sense in a way because he can't actually talk about the health risks. Super physiological doses for women don't carry the same risk as it does in men unless those doses get outside even typical male ranges.
