Nico happens to be my one and only son. Thank you Mark for giving him the opportunity to share his experience. Nico, we are glad you found your balance and will eventually be able to forgo the testosterone. Know that we (me, daddy and your sister) and your girl love you 120lbs or 200lbs. I’m proud to be your mom and we see your inner beauty which is so much more profound and meaningful than the physical. You will continue to be successful.

You'd be surprised how many bodybuilders/gymrats are the most cool, down to earth people. It surprises me when people say they're intimidated to get a gym membership when almost everyone I know are extremely supportive of new members. When it comes down to it we're all there for the same reason, to be a better self, so there's very little discrimination inside the facilities and a whole lot of love going around.

Our life was consumed with bodybuilding to the detriment of those around him. His mother who I’m still in contact with lost her only son to the world of bodybuilding. One of the biggest concerns I have with taking PEDS would be Cardiomegaly. The enlarged heart is almost inevitable because it's a muscle. Add to that, the kidneys act as a filter. Your muscle tissue and the breakdown of fibers can cause rhabdomylosis and kill your kidneys. You can't live without kidneys. All bad.

As a natural female bodybuilder who is large and cut, I sweat everyone in the gym thinks I’m I’m on gear but I’ve never been! However the minute I got a IFBB pro coach they offered it to me. It’s so tempting because of the competitive nature of this sport and the fact that if you want to be pro and competitive 95% of women are on it. Anyway, I won’t so I guess I may never turn pro! Also, looking at your body, a flat stomach and your cuts IS addictive in itself! Thanks for this different type of interview Mark!

That's where all the problems start... no matter how big you get, you feel small, so you do more and more, but it will never be enough in your own head. I've had people say they wish they looked like me, and I'm like, why would you want to look like this? Then the side effects start... sleep apnea, can't breathe doing everyday things, can't sleep. The quote he used is perfect..I've never heard that before. The day you start working out is the you will feel forever small...so true.

I’ve been working out since I was 14 (I am 42 now). Body dysmorphia in men is a real thing. I was always scared of the needle so I’ve never taken roids. I did by clenbuterol in a pill form and it made my heart beat fast. It scared the shit out of me so i stopped taking them. I just stick to an ECA stack now. If you know, you know. Addiction is real. God bless and thank you Nico. Humble ass cat !

We do also have to consider yes steroids are a drug but they were also created for medical purposes too.. for muscle wasting, aids patients, little kids that have anemia take like 5 times the amount of anadrol a bodybuilder would take. Just because you’re taking it to build some muscle doesn’t automatically mean it’s bad. Do your research, take it responsibly, get blood work, etc if that’s the path you choose to take. They don’t instantly make you into a violent person.. if you were probably just a violent person to begin with and other rec drugs are more than likely involved too.. if you are having these side effects you’re probably not taking them properly

They do change you mentally and physically to the point where I started selling them because of the connections I had made making at least $10,000 a week for many years I can say this now because I went to prison and it was the best thing that ever happened to me to stop that lifestyle but I’m still lifting at 72 thank God And competing
