I have started using 2 products that have lower percentages of vitamin c and, with patience, my skin is starting to tolerate it. It’s quite a process because it makes my skin so dry if I go to quickly with it. Thanks for a new way to find the Sukiyaka Suhada product!

I still have to try that Mad Hippie, I find I have so many new skincare items lately it's hard keeping up. Just started to dip my toe into using Vit C products and love the tip with using the sponge for the sunscreen excess. Hi Tamara, my aesthetician changes her skincare routine 4 times a year, for each season. My current routine is the same as yours only I use 3 hydrating essences, Sukoyaka Suhada being one of them. We use a lot of the same products. Next month I will make adjustments for my summer routine. I use vani cream sunscreen on my lips and love it. Have you ever tried it? I do like Timeless C and have used it for a few years because you can’t beat the price, but it does not compare to Skinceuticals, which is the Holy Grail vitamin C serum. If I could afford it, I would always buy Skinceuticals. I treat myself to it once or twice a year. It’s the best. Love your channel. 😉

I switched to Agency a year ago. I still think Curology is good, but I prefer Agency because they have two treatment Cream with four actives each and have more actives to target my age spots.
Darn! I have not had this feedback since I bought a new Mic over a year ago. I actually have to reduce my laptop volume sometimes when I am watching my vids. Look at the volume of your laptop but also within the video itself in the left hand corner there is another volume adjustment within the video. Do you have trouble hearing on other devices such as your phone? hope this helps!

They have a great vitamin c serum (not L Ascorbic acid). And glitzy Fritzy just did an excellent review on their exfoliating scrub. I’ve gone down to once a week masking…and if needed I will use a gentle AHA toner in between. Check out the exfoliation video I posted yesterday for product details.
What day cream do you use? Last winter I had to use a richer day cream as well, (mad hippie day cream and sometimes even the mad hippie triple c night cream during the day!) but now that the temp is mild and there is humidity in the air the CeraVe works for me in the am.

Thank you for introducing us to all these great products (especially the Timeless vitamin C product)and skin care routines. I, too, love the Cerave moisturizers - the one I use, that is without SPF, is their Daily Moisturizing Lotion for Normal to Dry Skin - it's lighter, so maybe best when it's warmer out. Also, I get the trying to avoid stains on your clothes from the tinted sunscreen. I end up putting Eucerin's Daily Hydration Cream SPF 30 (chemical), but just on neck and ears where the chemicals don't bother me. Just thought I'd share. Looking forward to your next video. You have a wonderful Mother's Day. I'm so excited that we will be visiting our daughter soon. 2 years since I've been able to visit. I personally can't imagine not washing my face in the morning. But everyone has different needs and skin types. I'm going to try that moisturizer later this summer. I have some others I need to go through first. You must live in a slightly less cold area than me ( Central Wisconsin ) my poor garden, cover it every night lately to stop the cold from killing my plants. I don't put out annuals till Memorial day. This year especially!!

Happy Mother's Day! Thank you for sharing options for Vitamin C. I'm finding that after a year of using Timeless/Mad Hippie along with Tretinoin my skin is getting irritated. The Dr at Curology told me to cut out Vit C all together, but I'd like to stick with it if I can. I did see a difference when I was using it. I'm going to try some of the other options you've suggested to see if that might help.
I like that your morning routine is simpler than most. I like to keep things simple with the least amount of products. I have been using timeless for years now. I just started Curology and my skin seems dryer. Would like to know the name of the exfoliating mask you use. Love your videos.

I was using the timeless but by the time it gets here to Canada it’s almost 50$. So I ordered the 30 % suspensions from the ordinary. Have u tried that ? Also I will be staying the Australian gold tinted sunscreen tomorrow . See how that goes . Thoughts on these two products?
Watch for when timeless has their sales, usually 50% off around a holiday...next one will probably be Memorial Day. I have not tried the ordinary. Australian gold has great reviews...I tried it a few years ago and was a little too drying for my dry skin...but many people love it!

Thank you! I use the ordinary AHA Exfoliating mask once a week and the Bay Harbor Beauty pumpkin Enzyme exfoliating mask once a week. I also love the super hydrating City Beauty alone Smoothing Hydro mask (is a sheet mask) pretty pricey so I watch for sales on that one.

Really game changing anti-aging products that really helped change my skin...and that’s hard to do...because I’ve been doing medical grade skin care for 30 years so I really have no wrinkles to speak of...but a few things I wanted to try to improve on...I discovered truth treatments....absolutely a game changer...and very high quality epidermal growth factors day and night!...neogenisis is my go to...and I’m happy to say I have 30 year old skin at 53.....and I’m loving it!...so just wanted people to know there are really high quality pieces to add to an anti aging regime....that can change skin incredibly...but this stuff is pricey.....but because of the quality and the delivery system..developed into these products....they are stellar products....but you pay for it...I can’t really put things on my face that won’t give you the best possible results.....there’s just no point....I really do the research...anyway love the video...I would just change some things out to maximize results!🙏😀

I was always confused about using aha in the morning but after few months on tretinoin, started adding it on my nighttime skincare routine and seeing great results. I hope you had a lovely Mother's Day too. AHA can be hard to fit in...but gentle chemical exfoliation can really make a difference in keeping the RetinA peelies at bay. Traditionally, I have used a 5% Lactic serum in the morning, but now that I am using an exfoliation mask a couple of times a week, that seems to be doing the trick. I love the Ordinary AHA mask and also Bay Harbor Beauty Pumpkin Enzyme mask. My skin feels like a babies bottom after. I'm Glad you enjoy the bloopers...I usually have plenty to spare LOL.❤️

In the morning I use vit c and azeleic acid (which I love) so I was having a hard time fitting AHA there but I didn’t want to give up my tretinoin night. After while I just decided it’s worth the try and actually taking two nights a week off from tret and adding an acid made a huge difference. I’m so grateful for your channel! Thanks to you I discovered the timeless vit c ;) I’m looking forward to lots of bloopers they are super fun ;)
Good question...it depends on your skin type and the quality of the moisturizer in the SPF. I know some people find the DRMTLY Moisturizer SPF 46 and the EltaMD UV Restore Hydrating enough to skip moisturizer but I have quite dry skin and always use a dedicated moisturizer first.
@@alisonschooley5459 yes..good point! make sure to let the moisturizer sink in and set before applyng SPF...this will prevent dilution. Same with letting SPF set before applying makup!
Hi Tamara.....I tried the mad hippie cleanser and loved it.....I only use it for the am as it is gentle and I need more of a good clean before sleep....Hi....you mentioned you are using an exfoliating treatment about 3 or 4 times a week, but did I miss something? You didn't mention which one....you may have mentioned it in another video....sorry.....I try to watch most!!!
I used to use a daily lactic serum in the morning....and may again when I feel the need..but I have been using the Ordinary AHA mask once a week and also the Bay Harbor Beauty Pumpkin Enzyme Mask once a week. My skin feels like a baby's bottom after and don't currently feel the need for a daily exfoliation. We will see...I observe my skin closely and if I notice flakiness or dullness will add a gentle lactic serum as needed. I do love the Ordinary 5% and also the 10% lactic and they are on hand if needed. I'm so glad you love the Mad Hippie. I agree, it will not remove makeup and sunscreen at night but it is lovely as a second cleanse in the evening. ❤️

What day cream do you use? Last winter I had to use a richer day cream as well, (mad hippie day cream and sometimes even the mad hippie triple c night cream during the day!)
but now that the temp is mild and there is humidity in the air the CeraVe works for me in the am.

Tamara I just checked our Walmart and they want $49.00 Canadian for the same size as your $21.00 one, the Sukoyaka. Our money is bad but that’s a lot more $30.00. It’s so hard for us to buy anything from the U.S. because it would still be imported from your side.

Hey pretty lady. I love the Mad Hippie cleanser and also their Face cream-it's very moisturizing. I use the Timeless -C too and also Jan Marini's C-esta, but it is expensive. Thank you for introducing us to all these great products (especially the Timeless vitamin C product)and skin care routines. I, too, love the Cerave moisturizers - the one I use, that is without SPF, is their Daily Moisturizing Lotion for Normal to Dry Skin - it's lighter, so maybe best when it's warmer out. Also, I get the trying to avoid stains on your clothes from the tinted sunscreen. I end up putting Eucerin's Daily Hydration Cream SPF 30 (chemical), but just on neck and ears where the chemicals don't bother me. Just thought I'd share. Looking forward to your next video. Love Timeless Vit C too - but unfortunately it is not available in Europe anymore. Something to do with an ingredient that is not approved in that amount..... 😭
I wrote to Timeless and asked, and they said that by the end of the year (2021) they expect to have a solution.

I personally can't imagine not washing my face in the morning. But everyone has different needs and skin types. I'm going to try that moisturizer later this summer. I have some others I need to go through first. You must live in a slightly less cold area than me ( Central Wisconsin ) my poor garden, cover it every night lately to stop the cold from killing my plants. I don't put out annuals till Memorial day. This year especially!!
How exciting to be visiting your daughter after two years! And yes...I was overly optimistic about planting. The day was pretty cool. So I just purchased my plants and potting soil snd got everything ready waiting for warmer weather. I did get a bunch of weeding done and my kale planted though!

Happy Mother's Day! Thank you for sharing options for Vitamin C. I'm finding that after a year of using Timeless/Mad Hippie along with Tretinoin my skin is getting irritated. The Dr at Curology told me to cut out Vit C all together, but I'd like to stick with it if I can. I did see a difference when I was using it. I'm going to try some of the other options you've suggested to see if that might help.

I like that your morning routine is simpler than most. I like to keep things simple with the least amount of products. I have been using timeless for years now. I just started Curology and my skin seems dryer. Would like to know the name of the exfoliating mask you use. Love your videos.

Mid Strength: Drunk Elephant TLC Sukari Baby Facial (expensive but really good)
Stongest: The Ordinary AHA Peeling mask (the red one)

I was using the timeless but by the time it gets here to Canada it’s almost 50$. So I ordered the 30 % suspensions from the ordinary. Have u tried that ? Also I will be staying the Australian gold tinted sunscreen tomorrow . See how that goes . Thoughts on these two products?
Watch for when timeless has their sales, usually 50% off around a holiday...next one will probably be Memorial Day. I have not tried the ordinary. Australian gold has great reviews...I tried it a few years ago and was a little too drying for my dry skin...but many people love it!

Thank you! I use the ordinary AHA Exfoliating mask once a week and the Bay Harbor Beauty pumpkin Enzyme exfoliating mask once a week. I also love the super hydrating City Beauty alone Smoothing Hydro mask (is a sheet mask) pretty pricey so I watch for sales on that one.

Really game changing anti-aging products that really helped change my skin...and that’s hard to do...because I’ve been doing medical grade skin care for 30 years so I really have no wrinkles to speak of...but a few things I wanted to try to improve on...I discovered truth treatments....absolutely a game changer...and very high quality epidermal growth factors day and night!...neogenisis is my go to...and I’m happy to say I have 30 year old skin at 53.....and I’m loving it!...so just wanted people to know there are really high quality pieces to add to an anti aging regime....that can change skin incredibly...but this stuff is pricey.....but because of the quality and the delivery system..developed into these products....they are stellar products....but you pay for it...I can’t really put things on my face that won’t give you the best possible results.....there’s just no point....I really do the research...anyway love the video...I would just change some things out to maximize results!🙏😀

I was always confused about using aha in the morning but after few months on tretinoin, started adding it on my nighttime skincare routine and seeing great results. I hope you had a lovely Mother's Day too. AHA can be hard to fit in...but gentle chemical exfoliation can really make a difference in keeping the RetinA peelies at bay. Traditionally, I have used a 5% Lactic serum in the morning, but now that I am using an exfoliation mask a couple of times a week, that seems to be doing the trick. I love the Ordinary AHA mask and also Bay Harbor Beauty Pumpkin Enzyme mask. My skin feels like a babies bottom after. I'm Glad you enjoy the bloopers...I usually have plenty to spare LOL.❤️

In the morning I use vit c and azeleic acid (which I love) so I was having a hard time fitting AHA there but I didn’t want to give up my tretinoin night. After while I just decided it’s worth the try and actually taking two nights a week off from tret and adding an acid made a huge difference. I’m so grateful for your channel! Thanks to you I discovered the timeless vit c ;) I’m looking forward to lots of bloopers they are super fun ;)

Is it better to use a moisturizer and then sunscreen or is a moisturizer that contains sunscreen enough?
Good question...it depends on your skin type and the quality of the moisturizer in the SPF. I know some people find the DRMTLY Moisturizer SPF 46 and the EltaMD UV Restore Hydrating enough to skip moisturizer but I have quite dry skin and always use a dedicated moisturizer first.

@@alisonschooley5459 yes..good point! make sure to let the moisturizer sink in and set before applyng SPF...this will prevent dilution. Same with letting SPF set before applying makup!

Hi Tamara.....I tried the mad hippie cleanser and loved it.....I only use it for the am as it is gentle and I need more of a good clean before sleep....Hi....you mentioned you are using an exfoliating treatment about 3 or 4 times a week, but did I miss something? You didn't mention which one....you may have mentioned it in another video....sorry.....I try to watch most!!!
I used to use a daily lactic serum in the morning....and may again when I feel the need..but I have been using the Ordinary AHA mask once a week and also the Bay Harbor Beauty Pumpkin Enzyme Mask once a week. My skin feels like a baby's bottom after and don't currently feel the need for a daily exfoliation. We will see...I observe my skin closely and if I notice flakiness or dullness will add a gentle lactic serum as needed. I do love the Ordinary 5% and also the 10% lactic and they are on hand if needed. I'm so glad you love the Mad Hippie. I agree, it will not remove makeup and sunscreen at night but it is lovely as a second cleanse in the evening. ❤️
