You have such beautiful, dewy looking skin! Naturally, even before you put on moisturizer! Im new to your channel and at 63 need all the help i can get. Thank you
Beautiful look and technique! However, being old enough to be your mom, I doubt I'd get the same results, though I try...less is more, I agree! But, you are naturally stunning without makeup, so that's a bit depressing, LOL! In any case, I'll be trying to emulate this minimalist look as best I can. TFS. Rosemarie ❤️
Some wonderful tips here that have made me reevaluate my make up. At 67, with still very little grey in my medium brown hair, I feel like I need lighter make up, both in color and in application, to make a softer look. Thanks so much, and this will be watched many times, I am sure!
Just stumbled upon this video, absolutely loving it! You’re simply lovely; very natural, looking forward to viewing other videos. Thanks so much for sharing❣️
Nicely done and ideal for me at 74 but perfect for any age. Also a real glamour look for ladies my age would be great for the occasional special event. Thanks!
You are beautiful without makeup. Your makeup tips soften your face , but you have beautiful skin and eyes au natural. The neutral soft colors enhanced your beauty even more.
I've just found you and I am very happy with that. You don't even need any makeup, being already so good looking . Your tips are very inspiring. Thanks for letting me know more about this interesting topic which l surely need to update❤
I enjoyed this look so much thank you Lauriely! Im an older woman and as I’ve aged less is better. This look I can do, I don’t have your blue eyes, mine are brown but I wear the shades of cosmetics you’ve used here often. I also like pinks. This look is gorgeous, so youthful and natural. Well done on this look!😊
You are so welcome! I am so glad yes these shade and Pinks will look good on brown eyes. You can also use either a grey eyeliner or eyeshadow as eyeliner helps to bring out brown eyes. Use it with either your pink shades or earthy tones 😊
@@laurielytaylormakeup Thank you! I do wear grey eyeshadow as liner it’s much more soft, black can indeed be too harsh for me and as you said brown is a better look especially when one gets older, but yes I like the grey too and I have worn it with pink shades. Your an excellent MUA and I look forward to more,I’ve been binge watching, lol. Thank you again.

THats the correct amount of makeup for me at almost 72✨ I'm wearing less makeup now as it looks softer.✨. No black liner or anything heavy...✨ Everyone always tells me I look at least 15 years younger than I am✨ so I'm happy with that...(I have always protected my face and neck from the sun so I think that has payed off) Anyway this was very helpful thank you..., ✨
This is THE BEST makeup application I have ever seen! I will be using your video as my “how to” when I get ready for my granddaughter’s wedding in three weeks. Thank you so very much ❤❤❤
If I looked like this lovely woman without makeup I’d be the happiest woman on Earth. She needs to ditch ALL the makeup and go bare-faced - what a stunner she is! New sub who will delight in catching up on past videos.
Thank you Lauriely. Your videos are always helpful and enjoyable to watch. I’m especially interested to see what products you use since they are unique to what I typically see on YT.
To be honest with you, you look just as beautiful without make up, natural beautiful, thankyou for the make up tips, i also love the nude colors on my face, especially pink gloss, pink eyeshadow & black penvil on my eye lids only, thankyou ❤
Something I’ve never heard or seen anyone suggest is using a light colored concealer along the bottom of the lines running from nose to mouth. Keep the line thin. Pat in and then apply foundation as usual. That lighter line will lift or remove the shadow of the nose to mouth-line crease and make it appear less deep.
Great tutorial and very helpful. I’d love to see a video on covering dark under eyes and little red veins on my chin as those are my two major skin issues.
Hello, dear Lauriel! You have done a lot of interesting work on your makeup; the anti-aging makeup looks fresh and unobtrusive. The mineral powder came in handy and the peach blush added the color of youth to the look. I also dye my eyelashes, just like you, and yes, eyebrows and lips make your face expressive. Have a nice day Ms. Taylor, thank you. 🌺🌸🌺Ххххх
Hi I love your detailed video on make-up for women who have wrinkles. I haven't worn make-up, apart from special occasions, for quite a few years because of make-up settling in the wrinkles. I'm going to give your ideas a go. I love that you use everyday brands and not high end make-up that most people can't afford. Thank you for your video and I look forward to watching more of your channel.
your video just came up in my feed. I really enjoyed the real time tutorial, so many tips & tricks. The nectar Youngblood will be my next purchase, thank you
Thanks so much! I plan to do a few more, rather than speeding them up. Wasn't sure initially if it would get boring, so I am glad that this one has been popular. Thanks for watching 😉
This was my first time to come across your videos. I love your look and your calm (not boring) camera presence. I will definitely watch more of your videos (although I do not tend to comment on videos). You asked what we viewers thought. My take: I loved every thing you did and the way you did it. I also loved that you did not do the things you did not do. Refreshing. From what I could see, the last 2 steps could have been omitted, but I’m sure you can see things better in real life. I am so excited to have found your videos.
Yep, your definitely youthful and a classic beauty!! My first time watching you, I'm 67 and showing it, I didn't for years but the last few years my age is really showing. I've looked all over and all the products you used seem like their listed EXCEPT the Mascara, plz what kind are you using here? Thanks
I really loved the way you have beautifully blended everything. You are so helpful. Perhaps tips on matching with your top so that it could be changed up? So helpful. Ruth
Best vid. I've seen, totally relatable, I've always worked with the principle that 'if you notice the make-up, it's too much make-up' . I'm 73 and still never use foundation, ageing skin is still ageing skin but with a layer of something on top, which ALWAYS settles into lines ! Just dot in on where you can even skin out. Your skin is fabulous anyway, would be very interested to see you do that method on someone my age.
Ohh thank you!! Generally I don't, I just wanted to show how you could make them fuller. I am quite lazy with my lips, sometimes forget to even put lippy on. Thanks for watching 😉
I would love to learn more about applying your makeup. And what looks good I? Where islander on the top? My lid on the bottom underneath my lashes. I also wear foundation
Thank you! It would really depend on your skin tone. I know the Revlon tints have quite a few shades. Just remember to not go too light as that can end up ashy looking. However, if you do find it is on the lighter side, you can use a contour shade to warm it up. Hope that helps 😊
So pleased! I don't have many AU followers mainly overseas. Lovely to have you. Please let me know if there is anything you would like me to show you 🙂
I use Youngblood loose mineral foundation and it looks great on my 55 year old skin (natural skincare, no aggressive things). I find it sits great on my skin. 😊
You’re young with gorgeous skin and blushed cheeks to begin with! You also have thick, long eyelashes and full eyebrows. I have none of that, lol! But I love how you put your makeup on. You are beautiful! I enjoyed it. Thank you.
Lovely video thank you. May I just ask what brand of mascara you used in this video and if it was a waterproof one. I sometimes tend to have my waterproof mascara smudge a little on the bottom lashes but it looks strange if I don’t use a little mascara on them. 😊
Thank you! In this particular video I am using the Prime Prometics Mascara, which is smudge proof very good for not moving. I too like to add a slight.all amount to my bottom lashes. Thanks for watching 💓

I love that idea if the nectar above the other blush! I’m going to try that! I like powder blushes too. The creamy seem to melt off in Louisiana heat /humidity. The powder blush sets too without the heaviness of adding powder too 😊

Very good. Any tips for dry patches? I have extremely fine dry skin which flakes after I’ve done my makeup. Also, I have sun damage on half of my face and generally very pink. 😫

Thanks so much for coming to my channel. For a Mineral Mascara I would use the Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics one. The other two I like are the Prime Prometics Mascara and the Rumi Cosmetiques one, both really good
Cld u wear that primer on it's own as ur wearing it over n actual tinted sunscreen?
Yes you could definitely wear it on its own. My Mum loves to wear this one. It is a perfect "no makeup, makeup"
I am only fair n the tinted sunscreen is only light wld l choose the same colour n add a bit more colour with bronzer or go for something darker?
?????
@jennyjohnston1993 Yes you could easily do that. I usually use a bronzer to warm the shade a but.
Lots of excellent tips! Very informative! Thank you.
You are so welcome!
