@@JotaV2502yah but this game in particular is significantly better on PC. I’ll normally just play on console since I like a couch setup. But Cyberpunk on PC with path tracing and all the bells and whistles legit embarrasses the consoles in a way we don’t usually see at this level. But, I would agree it still looks great on console for sure.
@@JotaV2502 I have a 4090 and can play with Ray Tracing, path tracing and Ray reconstruction which looks much better compared to console. I'm not saying it doesn't look good on console, but the PC version maxed out with everything turned on is on a other level. That's without any mods.
@@JotaV2502 I'm a little sorry that most authors don't do graphics comparison in Afterlife. It is in this location that the Ray Tracing is best seen. Everything is reflected on the floor and on the mirrors. Ray Tracing is just everywhere you look. This is very beautiful. There is no such thing on PS5 and Xbox. This is immediately noticeable.
One of the few games that I (at least currently) prefer 30fps mode. The game still looks very good in performance mode, but what has always bothered me about playing on Xbox One X to Series X performance mode is that traffic does not load, or is severely lacking when you're facing the way cars are meant to approach you. It's why Night City will feel like a ghost town when walking and especially driving through it. To remedy it it has to be played in ray-tracing mode. Plus, the 30fps runs well so it hasn't bothered me.

@@DexGen2002 It is a bit more, to the extent it's noticeable and more realistic. It's more immersive for it. Look down a road in performance mode, and you'll notice textures of vehicles come in the distance but disappear when getting closer, while in quality mode they will appear. Also, the performance mode is slightly blurrier and doesn't run at a perfect 60fps, whereas the 30fps is near flawless and very crisp looking. I am enjoying it a lot so far; hard to put down. I just wish they allowed for better HDR tuning because without using the TV setting it can look a bit washed out with the black level raise.
I heard traffic is absed on tiem and day and if you drive fast the game dosen't spawn them in purpose so they wont change that. Just one more case of CDPR making games for PC and porting them to consoles instead of making both at their best

Digital Foundry y Gamer's Nexus ya crearon ese comparativo. Ellos dijeron can 2.0 (y el DLSS 3.5) mejoro el imagen y introducieron mas luces que son calculado en la escena. Por ejemplo, hay luces y colors que no existieron antes de 2.0.

@@chusj.8233 Si, la distancia del objecto occultando la luz esta calculado y determina la precision de la sombra. Hay mucho mas que la RT de la PC estas haciendo, especialmente cuando Overdrive estas activado.

This long video strangely omitted to include comparisons between much more dramatic scenes found in the game, where reflections bathe the whole area, including shoreline ones. Huge differences between platforms in those situations.
Definitely major difference especially when raytracing kicks in on PC. I play on PS5 but watched some videos with the latest Nvidia raytracing technology and in some scenes it looks like a completely different game with jaw dropping visuals. Obviously the PS5 version is still stunning and blows my mind but you can't compare a 500$ console to a 3000$ modern PC with the latest GPU...
@PSS521 they don't look the same especially with global raytraced lighting/reflections and shadows and sometimes it's definitely a day/night difference. There are some locations where it isn't that apparent but watch some of the comparison pics/videos and you know what I mean.
@@xenomorphlover in real time gameplay, most people aren't noticing. your brain can't register every texture and lighting/shadow detail. bigger wow factor would come from a much larger screen and OLED HDR imho.
@PSS521 I know but sometimes I love to appreciate all the visuals and take things slowly. Then all the little details definitely stand out. But a good 4K/HDR TV is obviously helping a lot!
So, practically nothing changed on consoles besides a minor tweak on DRS in Performance Mode.. The shimmering caused by FSR 2 can still look atrocious, though.
I'm happy with the performance from my series x, quick resume drops you right where you left off. "Ray tracing" is immersive, performance looks brilliant. But damn.... building a PC keeps running through my mind. I wouldn't know where to start and I don't want to get hosed. Time to do some homework...
Pc gaming is great if yoy got the time to play and the money, had to sell my gaming pc because i barely used it anymore and got me a serie s. So far so good
While PC obviously has more RT-features enabled, DLSS Performance doesn't do it any favor here. Series X and PS5 have a much more detailed image overall in comparions even in performance mode, especially if you look at foliage and textures.
PC version looks amazing when maxed out but in the end I still opted for high settings at 4k because you don't notice much when playing and your system runs much cooler and consumes much less power.
@@trickerdgaming yea but only if you stand and look for it. It looks good for first hour but when you are 10 hours in and just running from objective to objective the initial excitement of looking at those reflections and lighting diminish by a lot.
Rt mode on ps5 have graphics and city of full population and cars. Full streets. Performance mode have generation lover graphics and empty streets. Its like 80 % populations and cars missing. Long streets with 2 cars and 5 peoples etc etc. Its really ugly. Its really mega extreme difference.
A día de hoy este juego es un buen ejemplo de lo que pueden ( o no) proporcionar las máquinas actuales según el precio del hardware. Versión consolas de mucha calidad y el PC versión deluxe, como dicta la lógica. Igual el el juego si quisiera pudiera verse aún mejor en consolas, el modo rendimiento se ve incluso mejor que el modo ray tracing donde maneja 1440p la misma resolución qué la versión de Series S siendo una consola inferior en hardware, el modo ray tracing debería notarse más ya sea en reflejos qué aplique o un aumento de resolución por que hay otros juegos triple A que si manejan modos de rendimiento a 4K o ray tracing

You mean pc very low or pc low? Cuz pc on lowest looked like crap (didnt even had shadows). And the low setting looked ok (comparable to the ps4 pro/xbox one graphics preset. I think ps5/series x are between medium and high in performance mode.

That is not happening. The CPUs in these things are seriously limited. They have their hands full with world simulation and RT tasks.

Los videos por RUclips siempre disminuyen la calidad, quizás por eso no sientas tanta la diferencia. Igual depende mucho de la persona, en lo personal yo me conformó con que valla bien, por eso a pesar de tener una PC con una 4080, suelo jugar más en consola 😊

Yea I’ve noticed this and commented on other channels about this issue to see if anyone is experiencing the loading time issues, mostly seen when loading a saved game not so much fast travel, pre 2.0 the game loaded extremely quick and both consoles were near exactly the same load times, now after the update it really lacks for series x. I experience a small delay before the game load bar actually starts to move like it’s frozen and all I hear is the game world, also a loading symbol would now appear when changing clothes and weapons in the menu that wasn’t apparent on 1.6, hopefully there may be a patch soon to sort any issues for 2.0 cause it feels really slow navigating and load times upon flatling are aswell slow
@@nicowank634yea it’s the same story with CDPR that’s been going on for 3 years each patch or update that release is prone to break things in game and they usually have a hotfix for their patches soon after that’s prolly why they released the 2.0 a couple days early before PL so any issues can be sorted most likely will see an update Monday if not Tuesday when the dlc drops
I've got Cyberpunk Xbox Edition for like 12€ from G2A becouse I've bought an Argentina Key and redeemed it with an VPN. Must say, playing a Game this stunning on a so tiny beast is definitely worth it. (And it has Crosssaves with my Steam Deck and PC :D)

The PS5 tends to look better in screenshots because it uses a dynamic Ghz target on their CPU/GPU which decreases when the console is under load. Standing still looking at a tree will allow the processor to stop working so hard and boost its clock speed, but in motion (playing the actual game) will cause it to stress and it will look worse. The Xbox Series X by comparison has a constant clock speed so the visuals will never degrade when you play the game.
El juego en Series X (desconozco en PS5) tiene un popping exagerado cuando vas conduciendo. Al punto de que las texturas cargan en tu cara literalmente pegando como un destello al cargar su nitidez. Es horrible cómo se ve en movimiento el juego. Me parece increíble que nadie hable de esto teniendo en cuenta que este juego tiene 3 años y a otros por mucho menos les dan un montón de hostias.
te puedo decir que en Ps5 modo performance es igual, con el calibur a 180mph literalmente las farolas aparecen a 3m del coche, y vas viendo en la carretera como el asfalto cambia a 15m del coche. a velocidades normales se nota pero menos.
honestly, i'm good with the series X. i could care less for 5-10% ultra graphical improvements you see on pc and not worth thousands of dollars to achieve it. as a gamer, i don't play with a 300% magnifier on my left eye like a geek.

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the few games that makes me feel that current consoles are too weak for these new technologies, don't get me wrong, the game looks great on these consoles especially considering they only cost $399/$499, but the game looks so much better on PC especially in RT Overdrive mode, it really feels like something from a totally different generation. I know that Cyberpunk 2077 had a disastrous launch, but I love this game and I love what CD Projekt has done with it in recent years, even though it's a 2020 game it still looks much better than the games that came out recently.
A 40 series GPU alone is more expensive than a console 😅 They're not too weak, they're really good. No other game of this size has path tracing yet. It's all still experimental for tech freaks that can afford those cards.

@@giancarlo5945no he dicho que se vea peor, esta mas vivo, mas tráfico y peatones, las luces mejores pero la resolución es peor de 4k dinamico han puesto 1800p dinamico, las sombras aun siendo mas precisas tienen peor calidad, puedes ver en el 14:50 las sombras del fondo estan mediopixeladas, igual que en las caras de los personajes, las sombras del pelo en la cara se ven horribles
@@chusj.8233 Si, la distancia del objecto occultando la luz esta calculado y determina la precision de la sombra. Hay mucho mas que la RT de la PC estas haciendo, especialmente cuando Overdrive estas activado.
En consolas el raytracing es solo para las sombras, y el cambio se siente minimo. Recomendado performance mode.

This long video strangely omitted to include comparisons between much more dramatic scenes found in the game, where reflections bathe the whole area, including shoreline ones. Huge differences between platforms in those situations.
Definitely major difference especially when raytracing kicks in on PC. I play on PS5 but watched some videos with the latest Nvidia raytracing technology and in some scenes it looks like a completely different game with jaw dropping visuals. Obviously the PS5 version is still stunning and blows my mind but you can't compare a 500$ console to a 3000$ modern PC with the latest GPU...

@PSS521 they don't look the same especially with global raytraced lighting/reflections and shadows and sometimes it's definitely a day/night difference. There are some locations where it isn't that apparent but watch some of the comparison pics/videos and you know what I mean.

While PC obviously has more RT-features enabled, DLSS Performance doesn't do it any favor here.
Series X and PS5 have a much more detailed image overall in comparions even in performance mode, especially if you look at foliage and textures.
Then don't use DLSS performance, use balanced or quality xd

PC version looks amazing when maxed out but in the end I still opted for high settings at 4k because you don't notice much when playing and your system runs much cooler and consumes much less power.
High settings vs path ray tracing settings makes a big difference in many locations depending on the area and time of day etc

there is much less shimmering in the PS5 version in RT mode. It is interesting, because according to the test, RT mode has a lower resolution.
RT mode doest have a lower resolution, it is 1440p upscaled to 4K, performance mode is between 1080p to 1440p upscaled to 1800p (less res than 4K)
Rt mode on ps5 have graphics and city of full population and cars. Full streets. Performance mode have generation lover graphics and empty streets. Its like 80 % populations and cars missing. Long streets with 2 cars and 5 peoples etc etc. Its really ugly. Its really mega extreme difference.
In France you can find the series S new for around 250 euros whereas I can't find an rtx 4080 under 1200 euros

A día de hoy este juego es un buen ejemplo de lo que pueden ( o no) proporcionar las máquinas actuales según el precio del hardware. Versión consolas de mucha calidad y el PC versión deluxe, como dicta la lógica. Buena idea indicar el PC que se usa, que mucha gente se cree que PC es algo universal y no todos tienen la misma máquina, ni disfrutan de los mismos gráficos...
Igual el el juego si quisiera pudiera verse aún mejor en consolas, el modo rendimiento se ve incluso mejor que el modo ray tracing donde maneja 1440p la misma resolución qué la versión de Series S siendo una consola inferior en hardware, el modo ray tracing debería notarse más ya sea en reflejos qué aplique o un aumento de resolución por que hay otros juegos triple A que si manejan modos de rendimiento a 4K o ray tracing

You mean pc very low or pc low? Cuz pc on lowest looked like crap (didnt even had shadows). And the low setting looked ok (comparable to the ps4 pro/xbox one graphics preset. I think ps5/series x are between medium and high in performance mode.

Yea I’ve noticed this and commented on other channels about this issue to see if anyone is experiencing the loading time issues, mostly seen when loading a saved game not so much fast travel, pre 2.0 the game loaded extremely quick and both consoles were near exactly the same load times, now after the update it really lacks for series x. I experience a small delay before the game load bar actually starts to move like it’s frozen and all I hear is the game world, also a loading symbol would now appear when changing clothes and weapons in the menu that wasn’t apparent on 1.6, hopefully there may be a patch soon to sort any issues for 2.0 cause it feels really slow navigating and load times upon flatling are aswell slow

@@nicowank634yea it’s the same story with CDPR that’s been going on for 3 years each patch or update that release is prone to break things in game and they usually have a hotfix for their patches soon after that’s prolly why they released the 2.0 a couple days early before PL so any issues can be sorted most likely will see an update Monday if not Tuesday when the dlc drops

The PS5 tends to look better in screenshots because it uses a dynamic Ghz target on their CPU/GPU which decreases when the console is under load. Standing still looking at a tree will allow the processor to stop working so hard and boost its clock speed, but in motion (playing the actual game) will cause it to stress and it will look worse. The Xbox Series X by comparison has a constant clock speed so the visuals will never degrade when you play the game.

El juego en Series X (desconozco en PS5) tiene un popping exagerado cuando vas conduciendo. Al punto de que las texturas cargan en tu cara literalmente pegando como un destello al cargar su nitidez. Es horrible cómo se ve en movimiento el juego. Me parece increíble que nadie hable de esto teniendo en cuenta que este juego tiene 3 años y a otros por mucho menos les dan un montón de hostias.

te puedo decir que en Ps5 modo performance es igual, con el calibur a 180mph literalmente las farolas aparecen a 3m del coche, y vas viendo en la carretera como el asfalto cambia a 15m del coche. a velocidades normales se nota pero menos.

Pues la pantalla se me ha quedado bugeada y ahora veo todo el rato esa cosa azul como si le estuviera dando doleres de cabeza todo el rato. y en la otra partida no me pasa eso. solo en la nueva.

CDPR never said anything about RT reflections for consoles. There were some articles claiming this months before, but they were false.

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the few games that makes me feel that current consoles are too weak for these new technologies, don't get me wrong, the game looks great on these consoles especially considering they only cost $399/$499, but the game looks so much better on PC especially in RT Overdrive mode, it really feels like something from a totally different generation.
I know that Cyberpunk 2077 had a disastrous launch, but I love this game and I love what CD Projekt has done with it in recent years, even though it's a 2020 game it still looks much better than the games that came out recently.
A 40 series GPU alone is more expensive than a console 😅 They're not too weak, they're really good. No other game of this size has path tracing yet. It's all still experimental for tech freaks that can afford those cards.
