  • Ever been in your Pilates class and suddenly the instructor says something like "ok everyone, let's start in neutral spine" and you're suddenly racking your brain for what the heck that might even means? Was your spine not neutral before? You scan the class and instructor and can't see any major differences in their backs to yours- so maybe it just means lay still and don't do anything??
    Demystify the seemingly elusive neutral spine in this quick tutorial. I'll go over not only what the term actually means but how you can find it in your own body and feel confident your body is in proper form for all your Pilates classes to come.
    Bonus- neutral spine will actually help you get more out of your workouts because it's, well, HARD and will require better integration of your alignment, mind and breathing which in turn will give you better results in less reps!
