- Hello It's Ant, back working for Rosso transport on Saturday's with 464, starting at Accrington bus station taking out 286.
were trying out the DJi Osmo 3 camera, I hope its improved the quality and sound of the video's

Drove this when it used to belong to Rossendale Transport, they always put the best buses on this route, witch was saying something with Rossendale Transport 😂
Well they have not aged that well we have a few issues with them but our engineering work around the clock to keep them going which honestly is amazing. It's a nice change when you get Volvo on the route.. 😀

I dont know what the possibilities are for camera placement, (i understand that if youre using your phone this is even more limited),
But if it is possible to put the camera high up to your left or right facing forwards, we could get to see dashboard and front view action, whilst being unable to see passenger's faces as they enter?
Like i say, i dont know if this is possible or not,

Not sure what your depot have said but for other drivers who did/do RUclips, the common theme of concern from the depots was showing passengers faces as they are of course unaware that they are likely to end up on youtube. If the depot hasn't said this is ok, it may be worth blurring passengers faces, just to try and save you a bit of hassle in the future as it is something which has always come up before.
Oh yea I understand we're you're coming from. I must admit I was never trying to get customers inshot. I just lack the skill to edit them or blur them out but I'm gonna to differentiate not get them in future video hence why Its just quick etc

@@Echo_5674 well it gets a mixed bag of reviews. So drivers say is slow and sluggish on the 464 as we have a number of inclines to tackle. When I drove it a couple of weeks ago I didn't seem to have the same issues as them but maybe it's cause I had less people on. Oh I remember when I last drove it. It was when it snowed and it wasn't my bus but I took it as it was on layover.
Hi Anthony, I forgot to add to my comment can you do head pov with your new cam and could you do a garage walk around tour?
Unfortunately the new camera doesn't support any sort attached like that. I will also have to ask the transport manager about Depot tour but never say never 😊

Great video. What are those subtle noises in the background when you are driving?
Could be a couple of things. The optare buses tend to rattle a bit. There's also the indicators on in one clip. The Camera rattle when we bring bus around at Accrington and my green road Alarm went off to say my fob is paired to the bus.
Do you let people on if they don't have their pass.
It's a tricky one. So I've had some people who's freedom cards have expired and they not noticed I've let them on before now for free as I can over ride. But those who have weekly tickets that a paper I would have to make pay.
90% of the time. It's a case-by-case scenario because there's other factors that we have to think about. So like if children get on your bus and they're in school uniform and they've lost school pass and They're coming home then you have a legal obligation to assist. As I do the same journeys most weeks I know 90% of my passengers and I'm able to look at it case by case.

@@aboubasakiofire884 I think it's because drivers don't want hassle to deal with it. I know we use to have inspectors who would do checks but now it's all done by tfgm. I think some drives just want an easy life. Is the right attitude who knows
