Hello good evening I hope you enjoyed this video. Working splits are tough gig and something I wouldn't normal do (again) they are a very long day with big break in the middle but it means you work some the hardest parts of a shift. Just wanted to show you all the aspects of being s bus driver 😂
Great video Anthony 😃👍. What are the UK split shift rules? Does it differ between companys? Here in Norway all tendered contracts have to follow "the Norwegian bus driver union agreement": - A shift is defined as a split shift when the break is more than 30 minutes. After 60 minutes we get a split bonus. - Max 12 hours spread from sign on to sign off. - Split shift latest sign off time is 1900. - A split shift pays minimum 4 hours (minimum 2h00 + 2h00). - Split shifts on saturday and sunday is not allowed.
So we have follow the GB Government rules for domestic drivers Which state You must not work more than 16 hours between the times of starting and finishing work - including the times when you’re not driving. You must not drive for more than 10 hours on any working day so a split or spread shift will normally have 4hr in the morning followed by 5 hours off and back in for another 4/5 hours. When you're not a Split driver and your covering I believe our company pays you through the day.
The interior of these Blackburn versas reminds me of the old Rainbow One versas from Trent Barton (mind you, I wonder if Transdev got the idea from that as they did have both similar identities). I sure Wireless chargers did not exist when these were built. Trent my end only had wireless chargers since 2018.
I had to Google them but yea they look very similar if not the same. I think there like one team that make all the graphics and liveries in the UK. Hence why most of the buses lol the same
@@anthonyleecooke The team that used to do the Trent liveries are now the people who does Transdev (the company is called Best Impressions). Now, the Trent liveries are done in house but they try and keep it similar to them.
