- Hello It's Ant, been off for a week and we've come back to work to begive the opportunity to work away at Blackburn Bus Co, So I've tried my best capture the day. I hope you enjoy.

Hey Anthony, another great video! do you have any idea when Blackburn are going to retire their B10s? Because I hope to ride them sometime soon
Hello good question I don't really know. But I would Hazard to guess that is not far off. One of them had been parked up at the back of yard recently and on the 4/22 more opters and bl7 have been doing the routes. I would of thought once Harrogate get it's new buses and Rochdale closes then they might start to replace them.
The B10s if I'm not mistaken have been in service with blackburn bus company for 20 years!
@@MCRTransitYT I believe 20 years plus. I learnt on the B10 that I use to take to school. They have been reliable and faithful to us ☺️

@@anthonyleecooke I used Burnley bus company’s for ages to get to college they were amazing B2 TDV and B6 TDV were my favourite because they had a loud amazing zf gearbox whine they were in the fleet for 22 years! Until they were widrawn last summer
Enviro200 mmcs are actually so good to be a passenger on And I use the 1 to get to blackburn from Bolton
Really nice to drive take a moment to get use to some of the features but overall I do enjoy driving them and I hope to get more time on them soon 😁

We normally do the 464 route. Hopefully I can get more routes soon.

Shame they don't use Bristol RE's anymore as I think you would have loved them. Especially the growl of the engine and the whine of the gearbox.
They made some really good buses.

b10s are nice but really glad optare versa (and if im right i saw the odd solo there to) are still being used, we got rid of % of yours in my town as the silly company sold theres off. there cute nimble busses that i enjoyed going on.
The Solo don't run anymore in our town and I'm Really gutted as i've been able to drive on. Maybe when the do a fleet update we might get some more if the routes are tight but I know a few drivers who love the little solo's
@@anthonyleecooke awww man that sucks. they were so amazing. they were the best medium size busses (used to go on them smaller shopper busses from 99 with my gran so ive been on smaller) but the solos were my main childhood. they were connection to colledge after secondary school and most of my childhood i just got a day ticket for the sake of it and rode to the end of the line, wonderful memories on them solos. miss em but sadly i cant turn back the clock or put myself in a time loop. just glad i manadged to see you drive one for a bit. very awesome to see some are still in the uk.

@@J4CK574 sorry. Eating cheese on toast lol. I'm going to try to record more videos and bring out s couple a week. It's just been difficult because of using my phone to record then downloading it to edit them took way too long but I've recently made a purchase to help me with it. Sorry I hope that explains a bit better
In bolton they use stand a for drop off, but stand b (for 1) and c (534, 535, 537) are used for overflow drop off
I believe so but when speak to our transport team this week they did say that bee network has been warned about it again.

There's a possibility it's best contacting the company. New drivers going out to Rosso on the 464 1st before getting the opportunity to transfer to Blackburn bus company

what camera do u use to record
The last couple of videos I use my phone which is pixel 8 pro but I've switched to DJI osmo 3 and that will be used going forward
I’ve seen 234 and the damage and that is going cost quite abit of money to fix
They will sort it
