I love how we want to be a Sovereign Nation yet we make fun of those who want to be a sovereign citizen. This judge is kinda rude IMHO, you have the right to defend yourself, yet chastise this guy. Criminal or not.
Supreme Court says you have the right to travel and traveling and driving are two different things, car is included in traveling. This judge is conflating insurance and traveling 🤦. WTF apples and oranges good grief....Just like they say cops don't have to actually protect you.
    Where is this judges robe?
Where in the 2A is a but
Have your ducks in a row if this is the path you chose but this judge is wrong a car is included in traveling. I know a guy that is successfully traveling without anything this judge claims he knows as a privilege which is an actual right. Once again have your ducks in a row.

A Sovereign Nation cannot exist with Sovereign Citizens. Do you not see the irony of your statement? And yes, you can travel anywhere you want(almost) and you can do so in a car, all you want... but you cannot do so behind the wheel of a car any more than you can do so behind the controls of an airplane without proper licensing. If you can find the Supreme Court case(state or federal) that specifically states that drivers licenses are unconstitutional, I'll admit I am wrong... I'll wait. Until then, take advice from the rest of the audience as you get the pin of shame.

I believe that the founding fathers as they are referred to when it comes to the Constitution considered that not all individuals would be technically minded when it comes to defending one's self in a court preceding that's exactly why they made the Constitution so the common citizen could understand it and defend their rights, if that wasn't the case then if the laws and Constitution is so complicated and complex then it would be understandable that a person could claim ignorance of the law, but I'd be willing to say a judge would disagree with me on that point alone, as far as me babbling hey if you don't want to hear or read what I got to say well then you don't have to respond to my rambling, as for law's and processes I don't have much respect as I was in court for a friend of mine, he was a bit older than me and i was a teenager in highschool, he came over to talk and see what was going on because the police was at our house because we were having problems out of a nabor down the street, my friend simply ask me what was going on and of course i told him and that was the end of it, and we begin talking about something else and i said something to him that was funny and so he started laughing then all of a sudden the cop started saying you think its funny you think its funny, we tried to explain that what we were talking about had nothing to do with what was going on with the situation with the neighbors but he wasn't going to accept that for an ancer and arrested my friend for no reason but for laughing and during court preceding I was called as a witness but the judge wasn't going to hear what I had to say so my friend got convicted on a bogus charge so forgive me if I don't think much of our judicial system and the ones that are supposed to protect our rights but instead violate them because they claim that they know what the law is and yet they do everything in their power to use our laws against us, as i have stated that the right to travel encompasses the means of conveyance which in the past was horse or horse and buggy and today it's the automobile there's no difference in mode of travel with the exception of the automobile which is a modern form of conveyance but still a form of traveling in which is a right not a privilege.

Naw, man. You're looking at it from a victims point of view rather than from an objective point of view. The judge gave the defendant more opportunities than I've ever seen any judge give. The defendant thought he knew better. The judge tried breaking things down barney style, and the defendant responded with inaccurate information. So, the judge broke it down even further to help the defendant understand, and you think *that* shows his bias? If he was mocking the defendant, he would've used normal legal jargon. But it's clear the defendant doesn't understand legal jargon. If he was showing his bias, he wouldn't have spent so long, not only ensuring the defendant was of sound mind, but repeatedly trying to convince him that going pro se means he's going to be held to the same standards as every other attorney. If he was going to make racial remarks, like you've insinuated, do you really think he'd waste the amount of time it took to try and help the defendant? No, he would've endured he's capable, explained the provisions of his bond, denied his requests, and moved on. The fact that you can't see how far this judge bent over backwards shows there's a problem with you perception rather than the judges behavior.

The issue is that central to sov cit practices is a rhetorical technique called “Gish galloping” whereby they attempt to overwhelm their opponent with an excessive number of arguments with no regard for their accuracy or strength.
It’s a tactic that is very deliberately designed to be disorienting and overwhelm the Court such that the Court is unable to address all of their nonsense arguments in the alloted time.
I think any judge unfamiliar with sov cit arguments would be reasonably frustrated or overwhelmed with the legal doo doo getting thrown around the room.
Judge Fleischer is just prepared. He clearly did his research on these people are knows which of their arguments to ignore and which to focus on to avoid derailing the hearing. (Notice how he chuckled at the Dun & Bradstreet blurb but otherwise just ignored it. He knows that is based on some spurious conspiracy theory that the United States is using its citizens as collateral against loans to shadowy foreign investors… there’s no need to address any of that malarkey for a case concerning misdemeanor driving and firearms infractions)

This SovCit was more respectful than many SovCits are. He didn’t interrupt and talk over the Judge. However, you know just by nature of how he signed the agreement not to drive and claimed doing so, “reserves all his rights,” that he’s going to walk right out of that courtroom and drive off in a car. He thinks by signing that paper with gibberish he maintains what he thinks is his “right” to travel, despite the Judge having very clearly defined the difference between the right to travel and the privilege of operating a motor vehicle. The Judge should’ve quietly had an officer follow him out to the parking lot and, if he got into the driver’s seat of a car, yank him right back into court before the judge.
Another thing I like about how Judge Fleischer handled this particular case, was that he explained the Tenth Amendment and how the States, Texas, and he, has jurisdiction even before the session got too far underway. And then to reiterate the point by telling him that he wouldn’t be there if he knew, or truly believed, the Court has no jurisdiction over him. This was just an excellent example of how the SovCit idiots should be handled and how to shut them down before they can even get to their usual contemptible behavior.
