- Well...this night was reminiscent of almost all last month to the point of being crowded and almost all in the first lap which pretty much ruined my race, add in qualifying not so great or up to my expectations, this night just wasn't what I hoped for coming in to it. So tonight we had 14 competitors which meant one big qualifier and one big feature race. I qualified 6th in the #17 with a 38.103 which I felt was a good kart in comparison to driving it last week. In qualifying I believe the kart was cold, tires etc., but in the position race I was able to shave a full second off down to a 37.191 by the end of the race, unfortunetely right at the drop of the flag I fell to seventh and could not improve. At the start of the feature I picked the #16 which is a good kart but once again handling was evading me on this night, plus being beat up on the first lap I just was not able to recover sufficiently, I ran a 37.182 on the very last lap and it was a struggle to get there lol. We also had two joker laps incorporated in the race this night and even with those I was only able to manage a 7th place finish smh! The lap times for the joker laps were: 1) 29.190, and 2) 29.052. So you will see my frustration in this video during the first lap and after that me just trying to salvage the race and figure out the kart. So, Enjoy and Thanks for watching!!

First lap chaos. Reminds me of some of my previous karting events. Was anyone penalized for contact out there?
Yeah, as much as they can with the black flags. He was shown the pointed rolled black flag after almost spinning me, but that's about it being that I didn't fully go around, it just ruined my race and gave me flashbacks of the previous month where I was spun 3 out of 4 races, the frustration just got let out as you saw in the video.

He apologized after, he said the kart had no brakes...a little strange because I had the kart for qualifying...I guess anything can happen in that short amount of time...
