OnTrack Karting Wallingford, CT 4-17-19 League Race 'A' Main ***BETTER THAN LAST WEEK***

This race was fun, I was able to finish better than I did last week. I was in second qualifier and had the #11 and was able to qualify first with a 37.686. This put me first for the position race which thankfully I was able to hold first throughout the race with LEFT right behind me, my fastest time was 37.320. So finishing first in this second qualifier put me second for the feature race and for this race I pulled the #9 that is a very good kart, but it stuggled on this night in the turns and a little on top end, but you could feel that the speed was in it. The culprit in this karts performance and handling was new rear tires combined with worn in front and this made the kart push through the turns which made me have to back up my braking points to enter the turns. What I'm seeing that is happening to make the karts more even is new tires are being put on these karts to even them out, and it is working but for the karts that have perfectly worn in tires, when in the right hands those karts fly right by the ones with the new tires. So I was able to finish in the top 3 tonight with a fast lap of 37.362 and that was with a hard fought battle with CDAY by the end of the race. So with that said, Thanks for watching and Enjoy!!
