OnTrack Karting Wallingford, CT 8-14-19 League Race 'A' Main ***ROCKET SHIP***

WOW...tonight was an amazing night with a massive turnout of 32 competitors and having to intergrate the faster karts in to the field that they usually hold out every week simply because they had no choice just to be able to accommodate everyone who showed up. Now how that worked so that it wasn't unfair was that they were put in the regular qualifiers as luck of the draw and for the features they were held out until the last three positions were to be picked and F**K YEAH I picked possibly the fastest kart currently at the track....finally a little luck came my way. Now at the beginning of this night for qualifying for me it was not great but still managed to make it in the 'A' main by the skin of my teeth lol. I was in the second qualifier and could only manage an 8th starting position for the position race which was the cut off for the feature and I was able to advance one spot up to 7th just to make sure I wasn't on the bubble lol. So this puts me 14th in the feature race, yep 14th, because of the big field the top eight from each qualifier moved on. Now being in the bottom three of the field as I mentioned earlier I had the opportunity to pick from the the fastest karts on the track and I yeah I picked the 'ROCKET SHIP' of the track...#8! I was slice'n and dice'n my way through the field of very well established drivers of great talent and was sitting 7th by the half way mark when the threw the caution flag and reversed the direction...now that was a plot twist that I don't remember hearing in the drivers meeting, but I will take it because it shortened up how much further I had to go catch the rest of the field. With a single file restart and one badass kart under butt the race was on to finish line and....I think I'll let y'all watch what happened lol! It was one of best nights in quite some months.
