OnTrack Karting Wallingford, CT 5-15-19 League Race 'A' Main ***THE CHALLENGE OF PASSING***

So this race tonight was good, good qualifying, good start, and challenging race. So I was in the first qualifier tonight and in the 3 lap qualifier I was able to qualify 1st. In the position race I was starting first and unfortunetely was not able to hold it and ended up finishing 2nd. With that second place finish I new best position I would start in the feature would be 3rd and I was fine with that...atleast I was on the inside lane for the start of the race. But with that starting position I would once again be placed in the position of trying to get passed first place which has been proving pretty difficult and quite annoying. So for the feature race I pulled the #1 kart and it was a very good kart, but the format chip that was pulled was to add an extra ten pounds to the top 3 which was a tad bit concerning. At the drop of the green and by the first hairpin I realized I had a kart the could deal with the extra weight, but then came the infamous task as stated earlier of getting passed first place, and, well...I'll let you watch and see what happened for yourselves. So qualifying time for 3 lapper: 37.953, position race: 37.738, and feature race: 37.871. So as always, Enjoy and Thanks for watching!
