  • So this was another fun night, but also another struggle to advance in position on the track and to just maintain position on the track. Even though the karts are somewhat even, there are still karts that seem to be faster...in my opinion not just due to basic setup but because the motors in those karts are performing better. Maybe its due to temperature, I'm not completely sure but the spread in time for certain karts compared to others was almost a full second. Times as low as 37.2 to 38.0 is not cool, not to mention I keep getting the karts for feature race that are running 38s' or they have new tires that are automatically slow the karts by a half second. I've been consistantly finishing in the lower half of the field and thats annoying! So for the 3 lap qualifier I ran 38.282 which put me 4th for the position race, and in the position race I finished 5th with a 37.915 placing me 9th for the feature race, and in the feature race I ran 38.065 in the normal direction. We also switched to reverse about half way and in that direction I was under attack the whole time and just trying to hold position. So with that said, Enjoy and Thanks for watching!

Not much you can do with a low power kart with large gaps in lap times in these rental league events. The unbalanced karts affect overall finishes and points for a season; happened in my previous karting event.

Yeah that's true, it's tough when your trying to drive as fast as you can and everything you do doesn't produce any type of faster time.
