OnTrack Karting Wallingford, CT 5-8-19 League Race 'B' Main ***FIRST 'B' MAIN OF THE YEAR***

Well as you see in the title my butt ended up in the 'B' main tonight, it was my first one of the year. I was slightly disappointed because I also realized it was my first time out of the top 10 for Sodi with the way they are doing the points this year. So qualifying went as so....IT SUCKED! I had the #12 kart that literally could barely get out of the 38s'. I pulled out two 37 second laps in the position race and really couldn't get the kart to go any faster no matter how hard I tried and after about half way through the race which is when I hit those 37s', I just said forget it, I did not move from where I qualified from the 3 lapper which was 7th and was consistantly losing touch with the rest of the pack. Now real quick, this was a kart that reset the track record a few months ago last year and it ran down and passed a 9hp super kart on the track and now this kart can barely get out of the 38s'! So this puts me 3rd for the 'B' main but with the pull of a chip to invert the top 3 I was now first and I pulled the #14 kart for the race which I knew has been fast and getting faster the last couple of weeks. I was able to pull away and finish off my night with somewhat of a high note. So qualifying time for 3 lap: 38.228, Position race: 37.926, Feature race: 37.000. I'm hoping next week will be better!
