- The HST Turbo Tuning team were back at Doorslammers at Santa Pod Raceway with their 1566bhp Audi TT, which is running a billet VR6 R32 Block, and clutch-less sequential gearbox. When I get more details on the car I will add them in...
They put in several 7 second passes, with the quickest being a 7.36 @ 185mph, and the fastest being a 7.37 @ 191mph. They called it a day after those runs, to ensure they could get the car home in one piece, as they have a billet crank ready to go in, and ready for more power. Will we see a 6 second 200mph run, from this car..........STAY TUNED

@tylerstickle2957 vw suffer with chain stretch and tensioners that disintegrate.
Any other manufacturer a chain is great but VAG definitely missed the mark with theirs sadly.
@MrSaltysReefTank I would still much rather put my trust in a chain than a piece of rubber at 1550bhp but to each their own. I had a 2.8 vr6 with 165k on it that purred like a kitten and is still driving around my town to this day with well over 200k I'm sure at this point. Once that belt gets stretched once it's gonna snap atleast you can usually catch symptoms ahead of time with the chain slap etc. Just my opinion though
Oh my God!! When I saw the engine I had a mouth drop 😱.. TT is beautiful looking car but with this beast engine, it moved to another level 🙌

I guess anything is possible. This car is now pushing out over 2000hp at the wheels 💪💪 DOP Motorsport are using two 3.6l v6's in their twin engine Lupo 😎
Epic you’ve got to review the if you haven’t already I’ll have to have a look but if you haven’t the mark one XR2 It did a 9.1 amazing as a youngster I put a deposit down on one of those went back the next day realised it was falling to bits with rust he gave me my deposit back. Got a Metro MG turbo in the end
The Mk1 Fiesta, is rwd and powered by a 2.5l Subaru engine. I have got footage of him, and interviews. Might go up on this channel, or might put up on my other channel Shift Light TV. So you turned down a rusty XR2 for an MG Metro....how did that turn out :)

Yeah I know the car. However, this car holds the quickest Audi AWD world record, with runs of 7.06 at 194mph and 7.09 at 201mph. They shipped it to America, where it is still currently competing, so we may see a 6 second run very soon.
The VR6 is a cooler motor than the 2JZ
I think 2jz is overrated, theres several motors that are cooler
2jz is the most overrated engine on planet Earth. Couldn't even pass a simple emissions test. That's why the 2jz got the axe from Toyota. It was a dirty running engine.

They should take the car to a wind tunnel and figure out where they can make improvements. More power and less weight isn't always the only answer. Good answer, but less drag or increased air to the turbo often goes well with more power and less weight.
I think because its basically a stock tt from the outside makes its performance even more impressive

dude there is nothing in that car that is stock or came from audi factory, do you listen the guy he said its a totally build engine there is not a single part from factory on that engine and its transformed into a billet engine , the awd is also changed , the diffs are also changed , the chasy is custom made , the body shell is also custom made , there is not a single thing in that car made from audi

They advertise themselves as AWD, so yes Im sure.
From what I understand, this awd only works in first gear, at the time of burnout it puts the 3rd gear that does not have awd, that is, there is also no loss of power at high speed
Obviously this is all my speculation, since I saw a v8 awd project where the awd was on in first gear, in 2nd 3rd and 4th gear it was off so as not to generate a loss of power due to the awd.

It's 4wd, They are sending majority of the power to the rear. Haldex 4WD you can split power from the front and back etc. Looks like a 70/30 split
@@rsc8841 Haldex would never handle all that power it would boil the oil and melt the clutches in the diff the first pull Car is amazing fast but if you look at the engine mount height I'm not sure they would have space for a front Quattro Diff even if the drive shaft did go through the sump like the 4x4 cossies !!
@@intergrale4x4 Mate you clearly don't know much about the Haldex system lol. Iroz who specialise in some of the fastest Audi RS3's-TTRS's manage 1000-1500hp no issues with the Gen 4&5 Haldex (These are daily driven normal road cars) with a aftermarket Haldex controller which this car will be running a long with upgraded clutch plates in the haldex diff and transfer box, it'll handle it no problem as you see here and with Iroz's countless cars they've done plus the 7.9 1/4mile they did in a RS3 saloon car. Also if it wasn't 4WD why would you put a full size M/T drag slicks on the front since it's rear wheel drive? You wouldn't would you, you'd use a skinny tire to reduce drag and weight...

Billet engine, correct me if wrong is a solid block that’s been lasered or drilled to fit pistons and what not?
That is my understanding of billet. One solid piece, that is machined, rather than individual parts.
It's a completely custom block made to your dimensions. Walls thicker stronger webbing were the crank goes also way thicker. They'll build it to your specifications. Not factory spec.
