You got that in revetse Matt, you watch the person dropping their hands but they are always on you side of the track which means the person in the car in the far side will have a slower reaction time. Alot of times the races are won becuase you have alot of practice on the start and the other racers have slower reaction time. That means there is more human factors than car factors in the races. I watched maybe more than a hundred of your videos and I noticed it many times , sorry if i'm beaing too direct. Still love to watch the drag races.
The BMW driver the first race he jumped but mat he did not. But the think that I don't understand is: the slowlysness of the BMW 😭😭 the car act as the is not well-known 😭😭

never understood why they dont do perfect matchups. He takes the sport version of the GT63 and the RS7, but then takes the base version of the M8 and not the competition. Why?
It's all about gear ratio's....!!! Think like when your on your Mountain bike and look at the gears when you pedal your little legs as you change gear how quick you go..!! Same as in a car folks...!!!

Why always always, the car you drive, is the car that wins. It seems to me that you know how to operate the vehicles the best. Maybe to avoid an advantage of the driver in the future, they will change vehicles every start.
But really, the lights would be so much better cos everyone would react to the lights going off than to not be sure at what level of hands somebody should be able to flat the accelerator
Sad for the birdy but I'm sure its family are Carwow drag race enthusiasts and proud that their little guy got totally obliterated by the man himself 🙌
Matt........ you really need to add a technical part to your stuff........ DIFF/GEAR RATIO's........ You can basically determine most things via maths.....

Audi and BMW both use the ZF-8 speed but they put they own programming on it when installed in the vehicles from the factory
