- Driving down Ferrers rd Eastern Creek I see this belching cloud of smoke in SMP driveway so I pulled over to get a video and see if I could help out. Not only did SMP fireys show up but NSW fire brigade were also alerted. The trucks turbo had a blown seal allowing engine oil to get pumped into the inlet. As diesels run on anything the engine could not be turned off. The driver removed the key but it was still over revving and spraying unburnt oil out its exhaust pipe. Luckily the truck had a good clutch in it and I was able to stall the engine by dumping the clutch in 5th. If left the engine would have seized after it had consumed all of its engine oil.
If you cant stall the engine by releasing the clutch in 5th you have to crimp or crush the turbo oil feed pipe so it doesnt get any more engine oil.
Hello, is it OK to feature your clip in a my chanel for educational purposes (so-called temporary copyright.)? You can stop me from using your content at any time and it will be deleted immediately.
It will be credited in the description & comments section with your name. Thanks, MM
Very polite of you to ask old chap. Yes go ahead, you can use my video.
No you cant.
Bet the owner of the truck was happy, but not happy that a stranger was smarter than the driver at saving his equipment....
Most people don’t know how to stop it. They have no clue why this is even happening. This bloke clearly has mechanical knowledge so offered help.
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with a stranger knowing more than you on a specific subject
👍 Good Save- Another Way is to Block the Air Intake With An Object that Will Cover the Intake Snorkle Without Being Inhaled- Maybe the Logbook or a Big Jacket?? -
-Cheers👍😀
Wrong
Lol no. Stay away from vehicles please
@@cbecks2051 So you must have some Mythical Truck that can Run Without Oxygen!?? Tell me More, I'd like to get some Expert Advice!
@@cbecks2051 PureBlood is correct, and is the only way on some automatics or on boat diesel engines.
@@hardergamer Cheers Bud!👍🍻
Naa, that'll be fucked after waiting that long to do it, if it didn't just seize up or run out of oil to burn.
You could have pulled the top off the air intake you filmed and put something over it too.
Lol no.
Hahahahaha. Righto champ.
Yep u sure can works a treat
So the turbo leaks oil the car keeps running cause diesels dont need spark?
Exactly. The oil enters the combustion chamber and burns
Need to slam it into 5th gear to stall the engine
it destroy the gearbox
@@amarendrausada3944 better than to let all the oil to burn until is stopping :)) just saying. imaginate what you'll have to do after the engine is off. Maybe rebuild it
Take some cloth and pit it into intake...
@@amarendrausada3944 dont talk shit
@@slayersdeath true bitch
i can literally smell it 😬
Too sus
Shut the key wont help anything
Can you believe that fool is sitting in it
DANG that sounds hecka similar to a Detroit Diesel engine. Like the 8V71 engine for example 😀
She just fine man …two spark plugs and a new tire be back on the road 😜
Diesel engines Dont have spark plugs.
@@amandhyani6502 was more of a joke queer bait 😂
also block the air intake
Its cooked
Lmfao man dont care
En este caso hay que tapar la entrada de aire.
Sin aire, no hay combustión
X que le acuerdo eso al camión y perjudica
Isuzu is constructed using low grade materials and that's to keep prices really but in reality its piece of crap and with low resale value and limited life span, best truck in light and medium size is Mitsubishi canter fuso.
