Watching the thumbnail, I was like: "What the heck is Joe Rogan doing with a motherboard???!!!"
lol so was I .. exactly that same reaction ahah bloody thumbnails
That's literally why I clicked on this I thought Joe Rogan was like into computers and s***
Hahaha same bro
I thought Rosenberg
Thank you Brian. I appreciate you taking time to help us understand the process better. I got my panel for Christmas and looking forward to setting mine up.
Awesome video. Love when people do instructional videos like this. Keep them coming!!!
This is a big commitment to your own style preferences. One ups!
Wanted to share my slightly upgraded version of the sensor panel. I went a 10.1 for a build I completed yesterday, it is my first at the sensor panel and a first for a complete water loop system. I can say without doubt that the youtubers make it look easy. At any rate it turned out great. Thank you for the video as it was a tremendous help in getting my build done.
lol... yes they make it look easy...
This is good stuff. There is never enough info on this out there. The more the merrier. Great job, great sensor panel.
Loving the humor at the intro! Please do more bits cause they're really fun to watch
thanks for that ad man i got a key for my computer needed one for a while was just waitng for a good deal! keep it up
I tried to buy a key from this seller only to get scammed. The code they sent me did not work. When I reached out to the seller for support they demanded information that would compromise my security, when I refused to send such information the seller refused to assist me and now I have to wait for paypal to get me my money back (3 weeks) AVOID THIS SITE
@@1FAST91SONOMA i got the key instantly on the website no issues here not sure why
This is fantastic! What a great guide, by far the best I have seen in terms of getting people started!
I agree, I've seen a lot of guides. But this one explains it the best!
i guess im randomly asking but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account?
I somehow lost the login password. I would love any tips you can give me.
@Yehuda Damari instablaster :)
This is so amazing. Thank you so much for making this. Im so pumped to do this. thank you for explaining it so well. SUBBED AND SAVED
This was a great video I'm glad you decided to make it. You did better than the others
Thanks man, this will fit my build perfectly
I'm glad I found your channel, dope build btw
Great Video! Thank you for taking the time to make this tutorial. One thing I learned is I can mount the screen upside-down. I have been searching the web for one screen that had the wires coming out where I need them. Thanks to you I can just mount it upside down now! Awesome! Thank you!
very nice video man, thanks for this, was wanting to add something like this to my setup, and maybe a few other rigs thanks man
That's really cool. Particularly helpful about a very specific project I'm working on right now. Subbed.

Love the intro ;-) Great overview of our 2021 world!!!!!
Great set up video Brian !!!! Thanks, AJ
Thanks for sharing your setup. I was able to make it work on the 5" screen in a 480x800 setup. Looks really nice in my new build.
OMG, that intro was epic!
Subbed. Looking forward to more videos like this!
This is some DOPE content, greatful for the recommendation from Paul's Hardware, u really r doing unique stuff
Great video!!! Thank you can't wait to make my own sensor panel
AWESOME stuff... thanks for the VERY detailed explanations.
This is exactly what I was looking for. Thinking of getting a panel that fits both 5.25” of my Thermaltake x71 case. Thanks for the video.
Great, detailed video, thank you. It could be a bit shorter, but I understand that you wanted to provide detailed guidance. It really looks cool in a transparent/window case. I use, since many years, a Rainmeter programme which allows exactly the same futures on your screen and no need for any hardware. However, I can understand that having a separate device in the case gives the overview on parameters anytime without minimising any window, moving away or leaving a gap on screen to see the actual parameters.
Again, great idea, thanks.
Awesome video! Order placed for a panel to give it a shot. Thank you
Best video I have seen in a long time.
Sad that I can't dow losf this setup file. I really like the look of yours
Yep that definitely gets a "like" for the intro good sir.
Same here, gave it a thumbs up pretty much right away, and I guess it also made me sub. to the channel.
Same case, good to know this is a 2 second mod. You have saved me a ton of time with getting the right screen. Had looked at this as an idea but never committed. Might actually give this a go now.
Gonna have to work out a new exhaust fan area though.
Awesome video thanks man
brilliant video. used the links to get the screen and used some of the assets to create my own. many thanks
do you still has the file can you share to me? thank you
Thanks, Soooo much. REALLY loved this Video .Will Save and share to the world :)
That is cool, and a clever use of the extended screen support in Windows
Love your videos 😍💗 always worth it .. knowledgeable videos 🤗♥️
Very nice sensor panel design. I appreciate the amount of time it took to create it.
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
awesome video bud!
Really cool. Thanks man.
Thank you for this brotha
Great video!
Great video thanks. I was thinking about this for my build. Now I'll probably give it a shot. Corsair D1000 ASRock aqua 3950x. Thanks again 👍
third killer intro in a row. Nicely done!
That Purple
You put a lot of work into this presentation and for that, I thank you sir. :)
If you can photoedit the images provided by aida64 and save them under a different name in the same folder, you can get gauges with your own image as the gauge. That would be a nice area to explore.
This is the kind of content that I think we all can get behind. Custom PCs are awesome and learning how to customize them even more is a really sick idea and lots of this information is super useful.
Glad you enjoyed!
Hey do you have to buy the aida64 package to get the free trial off the screen

The best start to a video
All I can say is wow, so much great info!!
Good Stuff! 👍😎
Took a look at your screen suggestions from the description and ran a few calculations in a spreadsheet, then compared the results to some measurements of my many-years-old case. You could fit the largest one into 4 drive bays vertically, and the middle one into two horizontally.
first time commenter, long time listener here..: go full nerd please. You have the voice for it, you have the audience.. you have the demeanor. 10 years of Linus and I watch him cause he knows his stuff and isn't biased.. good humans, make good stuff.. you seem to fit the bill.
Subbed for your voice
Will stay for your experience and knowledge
and F 2020
Great opening, thx 4 the smile!
Thanks, this is cool sir!
Love the intro!
My problem with doing this is it impedes normal dual monitor workflow (scaling, having taskbar on normal second monitor, etc)
Get Displayfusion, it has a lot of customization for multiple monitors.
Rockbros monitor + raspberry pi will work well for ya.
But it looks so cool tho
can you explain what you mean please!? i built my 1st cpu in the last year wityh my kid so this is all new to me .. we already run a two monitor setup and i was looking at adding this in the case ... are you saying that if i turn off the taskbars for multiple monitors i will not have it on one of my big monitors??
@@anonymoustoo4945 In display Fusion you can set what monitor has a task bar and what monitor does not. It is pretty flexible.
That intro though, perfect.
Very cool video. If I were to use this panel in a different situation (building a detailed diorama with video elements) what would I need to power this?
i have the same case the black rog version on top of the screen you mounted looks like there is a hole in the case to route stuff through mine doesnt have that
Thanks for the video! I also got LianLi Dynamic XL, can you please share link of all cables you have used apart from the one they provided with 7" screen? Thanks
Great video, very informative and thank you for sharing. I've used this setup but I wanted an independent screen (my mouse pointer found its way to the little screen every now and then) so I've tried the ModBros setup. Might go back to this though. Using a 5" screen in the psu cutout of my Evolve x.
That was what I was wondering. Is there any way to tell windows to lock the use of a screen otherwise I figure my mouse would wander over there every now and then which would be a big pain. I am thinking of just making a raspberry pi operate the stats instead.
@@AlNemec I've not found anything, so far...
Nice one, i used your hard work on my lian li xl only made it red white and blue to match my colours, cheers.
aida 64 what you buy on their site is that a 1 year license? or 1 time pay for unlimeted acces.
Good job bro nice video well done
Based on this great video I subscribed. Thanks bud
If you have a cpu with built in graphics as well as a graphic card, you can enable the MB HDMI output for a secondary monitor. You could then get the (horizontal) MB HDMI socket resoldered with a Verticle HDMI socket. Saves cables needing to go outside of case, and taking up a graphic card socket.
Haha, loved the intro :)
I've heard a lot about this channel, feels like a good time to drop a sub!
Anyway to just do a custom image on the screen, then have the temperatures overlay like a widget that's not super noticeable unless you're looking for them? Like maybe a lowered opacity for text / gauges that only display the specific pieces I want to monitor such as memory junction
will the 7 inch fit on a lian li o11 dynamic evo? i see you used it on the xl
THIS thanks!!
How do you stop the mouse going to the new screen ?
I like your channel good sir! 😁
Good stuff
Can you use a display port instead?
But you do have to sacrifice your second monitor set up to use the HDMI right? I have a 2 monitor set up so this wouldn't really work for me
When I installed Aida64 and click "Show Sensor Panel" it changes my Fan Speed, they speed up really fast then go back to normal as if it is throttling and it keeps repeating itself. When I close the program it is fine. Not sure why this is happening?
Can anyone tell me why every template I download on my PC is out of sync, larger than the resolution it was created in and with all the settings out of place, how can I fix this?
I have this issue too, it is so frustratuing. I had to make my own skin to solve the problem.
I am looking online everywhere. I have the regular 011 on order right now is 108mm from the case to the cut out for the rear IO. how large is the pcb on the 7 inch if i cut off the tabs?
At @1:57, how did you mount the display? I don't see any screws. Did you do anything to the back of the display to ensure the electronic parts don't touch the metal back of the case?
Do you have to open aida64 every time you shut down and restart pc? Will it auto open every time you start pc?
@BPSCustoms Weird question, but what video editing software do you use?
very useful mod for cases with drive bays like my cm stacker 810. thanks brian!
Glad to help!
ur intro about gpus cpus cooling etc being to expensive was to accurate and funny and also couple year old pcs still aint ot bad and hey we can still make it look cool ..... hell yes we can and a sensor panel is a great way ... hence u got my sub good shit my man...
is it too difficult to do independent sensor ? maybe with Pi and fan connectors and lights? has anyone done that.
I already installed my screen and everything works perfectly but when my pc sleeps my monitors turn off but this one stays on, what do I need to do to make it turn off with my other monitors
Sweet!
Looks great, but everyhting I'm seeing about Aida64 says it's an annual subscription software, which makes this quite a bit more expensive. Unless I'm missing something?
will having aida64 constantly running force core "unparking" on ryzen? could lead to high idle temps, as all the sensors will ping constantly etc.
Very nice
i know i am a month late but can i mount this to my corsair icue 4000x? if i get a screen that can fit in a fan spot then the back 120mm fan placement could be used to support it with the screw holes then i can remove the side mounted GPU bracket to route the cable to the GPU from the screen
Can you put a gif in there via aida64 with the temps sensor, etc
So stupidly i bought the 7" thinking it would fit in the Lian Li PC-011 Dynamic (should have measured SMH). I read online someone added the 7" in that exact case on the back (fan slot) so I just went with the purchase. WELL.... the sides, where the Stands screw into are what make it too big. if i click off all 4 that would give me 4 1/4" in 4.5" of space. you think it'd be fine to just some how clip those off? what would you recommend using if so?
My graphics card only had 1 hdmi but like 2 or 3 display ports can i use a display port to hdmi instead like on my second monitor?
several things... first is I'm not really sure where to mount something like that. Mounting it over ventilation holes for sure is not a good idea so I don't know where to put it. second is, on an extended display, There are many times where I'll actually go to a different display port on my monitor because it's hooked up to 2 machines so how would you make it not take everything on your primary monitor and try to stuff it on that tiny monitor that you are trying to use for sensors? The third question is can that product read the temp sensors from Corsair's Commander pro? That would be extremely useful if it can.
Can the display be connected to the motherboard hdmi output instead of the gpu bacause all the outputs on the gpu are being used.
Think I'll tryt it with a 10" panel on the side panel since my case has a solid panel and not glass
cant you use an USB video card connected to the USB header on the mobo to get some video signal for this without carrying cables from outside back into the case?
This is inspiring stuff.
Fantastic relevant intro
Aida64 can also run a beadapanel (among others) Only requires USB2 for data and power, and does not occupy an output from GPU.
