Hi Ed
hello
WHY IS THIS 16 HOIRS AGO WAT
I will save this video for future when l finish saving for the pc :')
same here mate
Feeling your pain bro 😅

Same i am going to get one once i have enough money for water cooling my whole pc its looks great we can get like a couple of these and make great animations
When hiding your taskbar, if you scroll further down, there is an option for multiple displays to show taskbar on all displays. Toggle that off if you still want your taskbar visible on your main monitor but not your other monitors.
Awesome was thinking if there was a option for this :D
thanks mate, wouldn't make sense to toggle the taskbar off for me if that option wasn't available.
thank you that was my problem and noe its solved:)
Heart this comment
Only problem is when you have a multi monitor setup, because this will only show the Taskbar only on one monitor and aik there isn't an option to select on which you want to show it
A trial is not a free software
That's why I always recommend Rainmeter instead of Aida64. It's open source, has a huge community, can pull info from both hardware and APIs, has a bunch of other plugin and app integration support like currently playing media, HWInfo, CoreTemp, supports mouse actions and Lua scripting. I highly recommend it as an alternative.
But cracking it is (;
Thanks for going through entire installation and how to set it up with links to tech that works. Most people would just throw up a video of finished product and say "Here it is, eat your hearts Don't you wish you were as smart as me". You went the extra mile and went through everything so now we can be cool too. Thanks again.

"The length also matters guys..."
i heard him say that and i went straight to the comments to see how many people were gonna make fun of him hahaha

If you want to hide the taskbar for secondary monitor but keep the primary monitor taskbar, then right click on the taskbar and go to taskbar settings. Scroll down, and you'll see Multiple Displays option. Do not toggle on Show taskbar on all displays, and it will only show on your primary.
what if you have 2 monitors? pls help
@@jay.m5228 his reply is for people with 2 monitors. What do u mean?
@@overlord2495 what if you already use two monitors I’m guessing? So including the sensor panel it would technically be 3 monitors for dual monitor users
I'm wondering, how do people prevent their mouse from accidentally going into the sensor panel? Isnt that annoying as heck? Like, I know it's really annoying when your mouse moves off to somewhere you can't view easily. Also, how is it not an issue for people to sacrifice a whole slot on their gpu? I only have 3 slots for my 3 screens, do people just use hdmi splitters or something? I always assumed sensor panels were all self-contained.

thankyou for making a tutorial on this ive been wanting to add one to my pc
just a few things.. you can also use any tablet.. I used a Samsung Galaxy tab I had laying around, and a program named spacedesk (free) to create a wireless display.. second you can edit the background picture of any sensor panel in paint to match your resloution, and then replace the original (just make sure that you make the sensor panel size the same resolution in aida 64 . Also the free version of aida64 is not bad , but a lot of the sensors will say Trial and you can not get rid of that label .. unless you get the full version (GPU utilization for example) .
Good point
How are you charging the tablet when it's inside? Just put a USB cable out into the pc as with a normal display? I might have some old tablet laying around which have no use right now
@@Gene.- yes.. I ran the usb cord through the motherboard tray , and back up through the basement , and then out one of the back io spaces to charge it.. quite easy to hide because my gpu is vertically mounted
@@jayblueeyez76 I see, my gpu is not vertical but I guess since my case is black I can hide the cable pretty easily
@@Gene.- even if you don’t put the tablet in your case the spacedesk program turns the tablet into a wireless display .. so you can put it anywhere … does not need to be used with aida64.. it is a full fledged wireless display
Frost v.2 looks SO GOOD
In defense of the thicker cables, they'll generally last longer since the thin cables are more subject to sharp angles which tend to destroy the cables.
Bro even if you buy thin cable they won't just snap unless you bought them from. Like wish or aliexpress
@@alianaz5899 agreed LOL🤣🤣🤣
You forgot to mention the software is $60 USD / year to license for the home user 😕
Thanks for the informative video! Definitely learned something new today.
you can also use the osd option to display all info you want in a very simple column that you can put on your desktop wherever you want
Only drawback is you might need a video card for 2nd HDMI port if you only have 1 on I/O panel. Wanted something to cover up holes and ridges in between MB and front of case. Was going to use some thin sheet metal to cover them. This looks like it fits the bill better. Can still use sheet metal to frame this and create a nice flat plane from the MB to front of case. I like RGB, but kinda thought there might be something more useful to stick inside a windowed case like a TV screen. No window case? Attach it on top of your case like a billboard.
Or, if the I/O panel on your GPU supports it, you can change the cable to your main display into (DisplayPort - DIsplayPort) or (DIsplayPort - HDMI). Then the single HDMI slot from your GPU will be freed up for your sensor panel display. Alternatively you can run a (DisplayPort - HDMI) cable from your GPU to the sensor panel and keep the cable to you main display as it currently is.
Can't a hdmi to usb adapter be used if there is no 2nd hdmi
@@paulfearn4905 i got a dvi to hdmi adapter on amazon for 5 dollars for 2 pack
if you have a GPU with only one HDMI port, its probably too weak to be wasting performance on running a mini display
@@seemslegit6203 hahaha… my first thought too
Damn Edgar went savage on that default sensor panel
Bro, you need to pay for aida64 otherwise you get some of the parameters to not show the value but just "TRIAL"
It's not free at all.
Does it take a bit of of the PC resources/performance? If yes, how much?

Need this video for my future build. i was thinking about this last few weeks ago. you answered my thoughts thankyouuuuu :)
I was thinking of ways to make my pc more full and customizable once i watercool mine this is perfect i hope we get more cool tech like this
Very helpful video, thinking about installing one of these in my PC now
just finished building my first of with a r7 5800x and a 3060 ti and I’m definitely going to try this :)
i dont even have a pc but i still like watching your videos anyway
This was a GREAT video, thank you!
I probably would have spray painted the black cables white where they show inside the case.
I used one of my old phones with a software that lets me use it as a screen.
With internal usb ports it's pretty easy to setup.
So how do you solve the issue where it turns on and off independently instead of with your PC? So if you're away from your pc for days the battery for the phone will run out and then you'd have to open the glass panel to turn it on again once it's fully charged, AFTER you turn on your PC. Not worth it for the hassle.
You are the best I am going to order this for my new PC build that I am doing for the first time
that is sooooo pretty.. looks really nice.
maybe one day i can also run a rig like that🇿🇦 thanks for all you awesome content that helps escape all the real word troubles. stay lit
This is helpful for me in my dreams while sleeping I can built a beast pc with monitor
I think step 1 & 2 should be swapped as figuring out the location you want the monitor will determine the size of the monitor you need.
SpaceDesk app + old phone or tablet was my preferred solution. Less cables and felt a bit better about repurposing some old hardware I already had on hand.
Explain how?
You should use asus master suite for your rgb. Also has aura sync live wallpapers. So the wallpapers change colours in sync with the rest of your rig.
You can also do this with a tablet no need to buy an extra monitor. If you have one laying around that you don't use I have Samsung Tablet I use to display all my temps best of all its wireless too.
Very useful video I like the wallpaper but I am not able to use it because I am using half a gig for the RAM
Never clicked this fast

Agreed
This is why I use Nvidia performance overlay even better and if you own an Nvidia card it is built into the software.
Been looking for a good tutorial for this for a while now and when I saw you uploaded this I was so excited. Honestly my favorite youtube channel hands down
Question: So I dont get it how you can match the Resolution from your new small monitor to your main monitor. Main Monitor being 3440 x 1440 and new little monitor having an 800 x 480 display resolution. What am I missing? I thought you said they have to match or it will be all screwed up.
Im actually planning to do this on my PC. 😂 Thanka Ed!
What about a whole tempered glass screen haha I've seen one before
I've seen where you can use your tempered glass on the pc case as desktop monitor lol
You Rock!!! Thank you for this video. Easy to understand and follow!!
Don't you have to pay a yearly licence fee for aida64 ?
I’m wondering about that now too
Loved your part in black widow 😉
Great Video! Random thought, could you use the same tape from the border to cover the small portion of the cables from the display? I think that would be awesome to hide the little bit of black from the PC!
Looks awesome!! i think i'm gonna give it a try soon :D
I spray painted my 5000D the same way you have done. Man it was so stressful but I got it all on and there’s small imperfections but you barely see it on the front panel area. All the grey is nowhere to be seen and I’m very happy with it
pls use white cable sleeves and use the usb header on the motherboard 🙄 and hide the taskbar on the external monitors with the right taskbar-setting. same menu but -> Turn “Show taskbar on all displays” off.
I use one of these 7" displays for a 2nd monitor. I just VHB taped it to the back of the monitor and it looks great. I dont need a full display because I just use it for youtube, and the location is great because you dont need to move your head
what is VHB tape?
I used your link to buy the 7" screen. I put it in my white build and it looks AMAZING!!!! THANK YOU FOR THIS! So many people have been floored by the look of my new PC. Quick question tho. I WANT THAT GOKU ROSE FOR MY SCREEN!!!!! lol... Can you link me where to get it?
Look up goku rose on wallpaper engine
Dang, this is the most complete tutorial about sensor panel. From installation until software customization
Me seeing this video: eyy that's cool, lets build that pc...
My wallet: dont even think about it!
I'm almost ready to build my first pc so thanks for making this video!
Dude if i had enough money to build this i would be so happy
Would you
Keep in mind if you want to monitor your gpu temp and usage aida64 will make your system crash randomly when the drivers and aida64 try to access these probes at the same time. This has been a known bug in aida for 5 plus years now. So if you start getting random crashes try turning off aida
This is a year old but I believe it only affects AMD gpu’s doesn’t it?
@@taden2007 yes as far as I can tell it only effect AMD GPUs. It's just sad that Aida will not post on their site that their software is not compatible with AMD GPUs and they have no plan to fix it. But they are happy to take your money.
So you’re saying I baisically cant use this screen with my AMD gpu?
@@RealistikOG Sadly yes. I have tried to work with the Aida64 devs to try and resolve this but all they want to do is blame AMD and pretend its not an issue. And they wont provide any refunds for people buying their software without knowing this issue. So from what research i have done it appears what happens is aida tries to poll certain sensors on the GPU at the same time as the AMD software and/or windows tries to access it which causes the driver to panic and crash.
thanks for the reply! but what if i only plan to use my raspberry pi monitor for showcasing desktop background or gifs etc/ not monitoring any temps or stats, will this still be an issue with my amd gpu@@jdmaltezza
i love that ram is that corsair
Thanks for this idea! Since I already use an ESP32 to make my rgb effects custom I was thinking about adding an LCD to the ESP but I didn't think of this easy way to do it - just use an additional monitor! Makes getting all information easier and I don#t need to transfer the data via serial or get it via sensors.
Yes this! Never wanted to do one because of the other videos I had seen, then the "extra monitor" was shown and I was like... that's so easy 😅
im surprised he didnt vinyl wrap the cables
I know I’m never finna do this but it wouldn’t hurt to watch

Really great looking build. The screen adds a lot, and I love the theme you picked for it (even if I don't love CP2077).

you are using your PC graphics card to drive this?!?!? Damn, just use a Raspberry Pi Zero-W and send the info to your data screen display via USB port. You could even add heat sensors, water leak detection, cameras, and if there is a problem have it alert you.
Really cool, just a few questions. Do you have to start this up every time manually or is there a way to have it open on the second screen every time windows starts? Is there a way to prevent the mouse from entering the second screen, I can imagine it would be easy to lose it there.
There is a way to get AIDA64 to launch when you start up windows. The mouse will enter the second screen but its not as bad as you think, youre always looking at your mouse so it's hard to lose track of it in the first place.
Is it possible for the program
to automatically open into the second monitor , because I could see it being annoying is you always needed to drag it there when you start the computer
Yes this is possible

Some obvious questions to my mind is, can this be auto started every time your pc turns on. Also what if you have it extended mode but don't want your mouse to enter the side screen
would have looked alot better if u wrapped the cords white or a blue to match the cooler to make it look like it was also water cooled.
I don't even got a pc but still watched this video ...
Our charming computer is ready and now we can start collecting bitcoin coins :)
I would have 1 question, why not build the display in the front.
And one idea would be a Raspberry, maybe even with a touch display, then you wouldn't need to set up a 2nd monitor under Windows.
Claim your, “here before 1mil views token”
Where is ths "Free" version of Aida64? AFAIK there is a "Free Trial" version but no actual free one....
Hey i had to sell my pc to pay bills I’ve been struggling ever since I got cut from my job do can you do a budget stream build?
This video is gold mate, thanks
Hey TechSource, just a quick question I hope you could answer
I am planning to get a build with a Corsair 4000D and install the raspberry pi 5 inch screen. However the fan I’m thinking to remove (the one in the same slot as yours) is only 4.724 inches. Do you think I should still get it, or just get a smaller version that I know will fit and if you do think that please send me a link on which 4 inch screen you think would be the best
Thanks,
Jezz
So instead of an external monitor on my desktop. I waste the display port for a lcd monitor in the case I rarely look at. Dumbest idea ever
Love it man. Keep up the good work ❤️‼️
sadly aida 64 cost money if you dont want watermark over it :(
All things aside, thank you for showing me why my taskbar is not on all of my monitors. I get why you wanted to hide it but in my setup not having it on all my monitors had been a headache to say the least. #youdaman
Not gonna lie, those white hard tubes looks like the pvc pipes you would use in the toilet.
Aida64 programming actually looks easier than I thought. Might have to give this a shot.
I would love this built into my desk and you can control your computer from your desk like if agree
What about when you turn your PC off? Does it automatically display the sensors on the panel on start up?
Heey, if you have a newer Mainboard with USB-C for the front panel, then you should also be able to get a monitor only with a USB C connection so that way you don't have run the cable to the outside of the case and also only need one cable ^^
How did you do that effect with the RAM? I have the same kit lol but I've never seen that lighting effect before!
