Roy C. Sullivan got struck by lighting 7 times and survived them but is not mentioned in this video. I think he is a famous example of someone who got struck by lightning and survived compared to the fisherman who's name I've already forgotten.
I've never been struck by lightning but one time lightning struck the street in front of my house.
I was once playing video games when a thunderstorm broke out, and there was a clap of thunder DIRECTLY over our house, so close that I actually smelled ozone. My brother calls downstairs like, "Hey, I think you might want to get off the TV now," and I'm just like, "Uhh...yeah." Not a fan of the idea of getting hit by lightning.
I was struck in 2003. No burns, clothing fires or cardiac arrest, but it left me with a nice brain injury, vision disorders, stretched ligaments and hypertonic muscles. The list is long.
Synesthesia is an interesting side effect as well. Mine is random and gave me panic attacks for years.
So basically like being electrocuted by a Raichu? Because it can gather electricity from the atmosphere, and it’s long tail protects it from high voltage powers

My step dad was struck my lightning. He was building a metal shed and he had said metal in his hand. One end to the ground.
He was struck by lightning and that metal spear was the only reason he did not pass away.
Now he can't wear watches because they stop working :)

Yes I have been struck by lightning:Yes, I was camping with my scout group and they was a storm and got electrocuted as I was holding a umbrella when it struck,I am a teenager this was a few years ago o was in hospital for weeks untill I made a full recovery with a few minor scars

One of my relatives was standing next to window pan and somehow she was shocked when the lighting struck just in front of her on the other side of the glass. She said she experienced a blinding flash and a funny bone sensation through out her body and passed out. Is that even possible?

One time i was chilling in my house and there was a storm, there was a lot of lightning in the storm but there was this one lightning strike that was so loud it literally SHAKED the house im not even making this up, the lights kinda flickered too, remember to stay at home when theres a storm kids!
