Again a big thanks to Tony at insta: @larparoundeindout as well as ruclips.net/user/StudioGherila for helping me out with some of the Easter eggs in the video.

I have been excitedly awaiting another one of these style of videos as I loved the original. Keep up the great work 🤙
Stalker Vid next please. I just cant wait anymore
You should do more of these videos
heat the pizza up in the heater. Thank me later
U should watch black lagoon anime my boi
It's good to see folks actually rucking and getting cardio training in with hikes. Generally when I need to get my cardio up I'll just load up ArmA and run from one side of the map to the other. It's a grind but the payoff is worth it.
I need an m64 siderail pls make them again 😭
I buy stuff from you all the time, great stuff

@@Oxide_does_his_best are you going to do a war-game edit with the new South Africa pack?
@@Oxide_does_his_best is the M64 rail different than the one from the M70's? If not, Zastava USA has a dovetail optic mount for the yugo pattern side rail.
Dressed like that, travelling through "the Blast Zone" definitely gives a STALKER vibe. Mount St. Heleb blew up when I was a kid. It was all over the news and we saw some really amazing sunsets.
Aren't there studys showing that Mount St. Helen is becoming active again?
@@50_foot_punch99 WHAT
OH FUCK
Shiposting aside, the nature is stunning.
PNW be like that
Nothing is a substitute for larping in the woods with buddies. Hiked up a mountain and reaching the summit was indescribable. Going up to an abandoned mountain town this year.
@@M1DA5_ you gone yet? If so how was it ??
@@abdu3064 I did, about a month ago. It was great, didn't end up spending the night in the town, someone got jumpy, but we went back up for another day afterwards. Good time.
The Pizza MRE is a bit of a joke in the force. Its just the wheat snack bread with frozen meat paste on top. Its also known as one of the least filling MRE's. Chicken Chunks and Chicken burrito bowl are my favorites. In Ranger School chocolate protein powder was a gift from the gods, cut the bag diagonally down the long axis and very slowly stir in water to make it more of a chocolate pudding. Invest in an inflatable sleep mat and keep the camel back on the very top of the back to keep weight centered on the frame. good shit dog
Hasbrowns was good so was veggie pasta plus the one with vanilla shake
I guess I'm a psycho for liking spinach fettucine
Chicken chunks, the hash brown and the chicken noodles are my go to, especially if you can trade with a buddy for some hot sauce
@@Vvtism Your tastes frighten and confuse me.
My cousin was ranger tabbed and added coffee to his ranger pudding. When I was 12 I had some of his ranger pudding and hiked all day and night with him to our camp sight.
Between the volcanos, hurricanes, and all that jazz. Nice to see you slowly becoming The Survivalist from Fallout New Vegas, hopefully you'll be camping in Zion when the nukes hit.
Feel free to take your time on these. I'd like to see what an oxide skin chicom would be like
They'd have to commission Ed Gein for that
As much as I'd like to agree I need Oxide rucking videos every day, preferably multiple of them.
Fantastic visuals. Bringing Tony along was worth it, the drone shots look amazing.
Aaaaae Ralphi DUDE!
Cross the zone to do a little trolling, definitely gonna check these out for my AT thru hike
Idk bro, you might want to consider otherwise. 8lbs just for the backpack is a lot of weight, not that fun when you have 2200 miles to hike.
i'm starting to think that oxide's 'dreams' are just him viewing into the daily life of an alternate universe version of him
You know you've crossed over into milsim territory when you hear "clear sightlines" instead of "clear view".
2:20 that transition of the PATLABOR movie theme is such a mood.
IKR. Absolutely based OST.
We're all sperging out about this music track. Scrolled down to find a million others posting the same thing I did.

Those pizza MRE's are honestly overhyped. They're fine, better than any of the pasta ones, but the beef stew is still better.

this zone seems quite imbalanced, a few snipers could control kilometers of land, bad map design

I have never seen what was left of St. Helens after the eruption, until now. The sheer scale of apocalyptic desolation is jaw-dropping, and the whole MOUNTAIN has been blown apart...
Extra points for using Unnatural City and Zastava M-70!

Tony is a real one, I see that HPG chest rig
Ayyeeeee all my packs are HPG.
Brilliant production quality on this one. I prefer biking over hiking, but this was a really neat review of the rucksack in its supposed natural state. I would say I'm looking forward to more of these, but as you mentioned, the end is nigh. I will continue to consume and share this channel so long as you are able to.

I was young when the actual Mount St. Helens eruption occurred. It's nice to see some life is coming back to even the blast zone albeit slowly.
Oxide, i remember you've been watching some Arma tactical commander tutorials with types of mission assault, defence - can you post the link to them, can't find them anywhere.

@@Oxide_does_his_best Thanks, thats it)
Used the same pack for a trip when I was in college, 2017-18, and had no issues with it. Managed to fit 85kg into the pack (just heavier than my body weight) to put in the mile walk to our pick up point and 2 mile from drop to camp site. No pains other than from the weight itself. Dropping down to about 45-50kg for the 3 hikes we did over the 4 days out there it was a breeze, even with the dump pouch and 2 extra camel backs attached to it for my water and poncho (white peaks in the UK tend to get a fair amount of rain, as I sadly witnessed). Since then I have used it for every day and airshit use. Could recommend it. Yet to find out if it will last me a month of being shot at, terrible weather and breaking my back but we'll find out eventually.
Been with you from the start and just want to say I'm finally getting into airsofting thanks to you and your videos! The editing and visual steps you've taken since I was in like 7th grade are amazing, and I look forward to many more years of your signature style.
Also, if anyone's wondering, the song at 2:20 is "Unnatural City" from the Patlabor 2 OST
Oxides got some wonderful taste in music, Kenji Kawai really does some amazing stuff.
Music at 1:08 is "Continue" by Makeup and Vanity Set, featured in the videogame Brigador: Up-Armored Edition.
Brigador is underrated
2:05 I'm pretty sure its not actually one, but Tony's AR looks alot like one of those "What would stoner do?" rifles Ian from Forgotten Weapons makes. Kinda neat.
Not at all, lol.
It's not, but if it was it would make perfect sense. Applications like that are basically what the WWSD was designed for.
Everybody notices the Patlabor music but nobody notices the Brigador music, Great Leader would not be pleased.
the text at 7:21 are hexadecimals. It reads "Applicants are grad using the whole person concept", it has something to do with security clearance. Might be related to the "RQ-S", but at this point I'm just overanalyzing a shitpost.
It isnt a shitpost and will make sense later

those cherry cobler mre's are bomb man. i wish that one dehydrated church brand i used in scouts still made the peach one. i swear as an adult it would rot off my teeth instantly but it just sounds so good.
I havent watched many of your videos, but this one caught my eye because I noticed that you were hiking in the eruption zone of Mount St. Helens. Cool to see a RUclipsr doing stuff in an area that I live so close to, will deffinatly watch more of your videos.
Fantastic scenes, great camera, fantastic soundtrack, loved the narration! All in all, thank you!
This Director's Cut Death Stranding looks so realistic.
i watched this twice because at some point i forgot it was a backpack review. nice work. subbed.
Damn. Some of that drone work is really nice. Loving the choice of music btw (Did I hear some ENA?)

Pretty peak aesthetics. Definitely feeling the stalker vibes. Gonna have to get the homies together to go do something similar.
I dont know why but with me being to Mt. St.Helens just this past summer, its feels relatable despite me only going 200 meters from the car and back rather than for backpacking, anyways good video
Always a neat coincidence when you include music I've listened to before.
As always, awesome content. And I'm pretty sure the music you're using is actually from the Patlabor 2 soundtrack. :D
Sick video! Cool trek. A great ruck adventure.
