Damn, I’m one of your biggest advocates, but locking this to a single DAW really does feel like a kick in the balls. I didn’t think of iZotope to be the type of company to do that, guess I was wrong.

Truly a great plugin. With how much is happening under the hood, it is understood why it doesn't work as a real time plugin yet and thus AudioSuite in Pro Tools is a great home for it. And those of us who have been using RX for years also understand that this will eventually scale up to other DAWs or a stand alone or incorporated into RX. It's a process, it's a process. Thank you iZotope folks for making my job easier and more efficient.

Okay, this isn't completely what it seems.
1) being an audiosuite plugin you CAN'T listen in the mix. So if you are working on a clip of production to match to and incoming clip (that you sampled), you can't play into it unless you render it and play it with the rest of the mix.
2) if you can't hear the production (not just the ref clip) and you are working on ADR what is the point of being able to adjust anything.
There are dialog chains in the mix. You can't hear any of the additional processing going on, like how the compression is interacting with the dialog as well as NR.
I did not find that it worked well in matching ADR from a mixing POV. I found it was far easier to just do it the old school way. EQ, add reverb, adjust EQ, adjust level.
OR, Fab Filter Pro Q which is even faster.
I didn't think the reverb match did well at all.
For what it is, it isn't a mixing tool. I can see some benefits to dialog editing, but putting EQ changes into the hands of a dialog editor isn't always the best idea without the original there. You end up getting clips without any body and you really can't add it back in.
I've asked around town, and can't find any mixer who likes it yet.
I haven't had the opportunity to try it from an editorial POV as I have only been testing it with ADR and I can get better results just EQ'ing with a plug in and adding reverb.

You need to tell us when this will be available for other DAW's (not just tell us to fill out a survey, then send us email spam). You will make a ton of money if you release if for more DAW's. I would buy it immediately, but now I'm thinking it's a money grab strategy.
We actually are actively looking at that survey! So if you'd like to see it in another host definitely leave your feedback for us there if you haven't already! It's the best way for us to organize and analyze that feedback!

bad news for non-PT users.. but, the fact that it has no ARA2 could mean that this feature is not in sight yet for the PT heads.. so I guess it's bad news for them, too.

This is a Cinema Sound plugin and they only make it for Pro Tools!!!! That makes no sense!
Yea...it's kind of useless as a Pro Tools only AudioSuite plugin. If this were VST3 Or Aria compatible, then we'd be willing to buy. I own Pro Tools but I like buying 3rd party plugins that work across VST and AAX daws.
